Chapter 14
“Mommy! Mommy!”
Naruto took a break from making mochi to look at his daughter Himawari. She was smiling and holding up a drawing she made with crayons.
“Hello princess!” Naruto says smiling
“Mommy look! I drew the family!” Himawari says as she shows him her drawing
“It’s beautiful! We’ll have to show daddy when he comes back!” He says
Himawari smiles and lifts up her arms, asking to be picked up. Naruto picks her up and Himawari leans her head into his neck. He puts the mochi he made into the oven. Naruto sets the timer and goes into the living room with Himawari.
The front door busts opens and in come Boruto, Kawaki, and Sarada, running in.
“Hello Okasan!!” Kawaki and Boruto call out
“Hello Oba!” Sarada also calls out
Naruto laughs seeing the pups run around.
“Hello pups, please be careful” he tells them
“Hai!” The trio calls out
Himawari struggles in his hold.
“Mama, can I play with them?” She asks Naruto.
Naruto smiles and lets her down.
“Of course Hima” He says
The trio waits for Himawari to catch up and the four of them head to the backyard to play. Naruto smiles as he sees the pups play around the backyard.
He hears the front door open and close.
“Tadaima!” His mate calls out.
He’s home!
Naruto heads to the front door and sees his husband taking off his shoes at the genkan. Once he’s done and sees Naruto, Sasuke smiles and opens his arms. Naruto comes over and hugs his mate. He kisses him and nuzzles their noses together.
“Welcome home my moon” Naruto says
Sasuke kisses him again
“Thank you my sun.” He answers
Naruto takes off Sasuke’s cloak and puts it on the coat hanger they have. They head to the living room, sit on the couch and cuddle together.
“How did the mission go?” Naruto asks
“Pretty good, there wasn’t much trouble” sasuke says
The timer in the kitchen goes off.
“I’m making mochi right now but I can make some food if you’d like” Naruto says
Sasuke kisses his forehead
“Don’t worry baby, I ate before I arrived” he tells Naruto.
The pups come back in. Boruto, Kawaki, and Himawari sees Sasuke and excitedly run towards him and hugs him.
“Otosan!” They call out
Sasuke hugs them back and kisses all of their heads.
“Hello my pups” he says
Sarada smiles and greets Sasuke as well
“Hello oji!”
Sasuke ruffles her hair
“Hello Sarada”
Naruto smiles at the sweet sight and heads into the kitchen to pull out the mochi. He sets them on a cooling rack. Naruto heads back into the living room.
“I just pulled out the mochi from the oven so they should be cooled down in a little bit.” He tells everyone.
The pups cheer and look excited for the mochi.
The quad head back outside with sasuke, they transform into wolf form and continue to play.
Naruto watches as his mate and the pups play together, his heart full of love.
