Chapter 2
Naruto winced as he woke up. He sat up and looked around. It was dark and he could hear crickets outside. Naruto looked at the clock next to the bed and saw that it was midnight. Naruto winced again as he could feel his pups kicking again. Naruto rubs his bump to try and settle them but they were still kicking up a storm. His ears lower and he let out a whine.
“Naruto?”
It was sasuke. Naruto turns to look at him and he could see Sasuke look at him in worry.
“Are you ok?” He asks as he also sits up
Naruto nuzzles his nose with sasuke’s.
“I’m ok, it’s just the pups, they decided to stay up today”
Sasuke puts his hands on Naruto’s baby bump and also rubs to try and soothe the pups.
Sasuke wraps his tail around Naruto’s tail.
The pups kick against their hands and Naruto giggles
“I guess they really wanna stay up today” He says but then winces after another kick.
Sasuke lowers his head down to Naruto’s bump. He nuzzles his nose into it and kisses the bump.
“Shhh Kawaki and Boruto, my little pups, you’re hurting mom”
The twins give one last kick and finally calm down.
Naruto sighs in relief. Sasuke gives one last kiss to the bump and sits back up to kiss Naruto.
“Thank you dear” Naruto says
Sasuke kisses him again
“Of course my love” He says
They make out for a little bit
Naruto purrs
Sasuke lets out a happy growl
“Let’s go back to sleep” He says
Naruto agrees and they go back to sleep.
It was the next day. They had some people over. It was Kakashi, Iruka, Sakura, and Hinata. They were all shifted into their wolf forms. The alphas have all left to hunt, while the omegas stayed behind.
Naruto was clingy towards his dad Iruka and his friend Hinata all day as Sasuke was away.
Right now Naruto laid on his side in a nest with cushions and blankets. The pups were kicking a lot again and he could feel their little paws. Naruto let out a little whine. Hinata quickly came up to him with her own whine and nuzzled her nose against his stomach. She tried to soothe the pups which worked and Naruto let out a chirp of gratefulness.
Hinata answered with a chirp of her own.
Naruto’s tail starts to wag.
“The others should be back shortly” Iruka says as he walks up to the nest.
Naruto stretches
“the pups are hungry” he says
Iruka climbs behind Naruto and starts to groom him.
“Daaaad” Naruto whines but he doesn’t try to get away.
Finally the hunting group arrives and they bring a whole lotta prey. They brought deers and rabbits. They split the food equally and start to dig in.
Naruto has a little more prey than the others because he was pregnant and was carrying two pups.
Sasuke licks his cheek
“Eat some more my love, you and the pups need it” He says as he rips part of a thigh off for him. Naruto licks him back and digs into the piece given to him.
After everyone was done eating, they all took part in play fighting. Even Naruto but the others were more gentle with him. Currently He and his dad Kakashi were playing tug of war with a piece of rope with Iruka helping Naruto. Sakura, Sasuke, and Hinata were wrestling.
Naruto growled as he and Iruka tugged the rope. But it was difficult with Kakashi’s strength. After a few more moments Naruto decided he was done and let go of the rope. Iruka let go too. It knocked Kakashi off balance and Naruto took the chance to pounce playfully on him with a small bark. Kakashi was able to easily wrestle himself out from under Naruto and he scruffed him. Naruto giggled and let out a little
Arf!
Iruka looked at them fondly and he nuzzles up to Kakashi, and Kakashi nuzzles back.
Sasuke was pouncing on Hinata as Sakura was tugging on his tail. Hinata tried to wiggle out but to no avail. Her tail wags and she barks to let him know she gives. Sasuke gets off and Sakura stops tugging his tail.
Naruto looks at everyone with a happy look. He’s happy that he finally has a pack. A family. After living so many years alone, he almost lost hope of being apart of one but now, Naruto is happy he still held on. The pups gave little kicks and Naruto smiled as he felt them. After so many hours of playing and with food in his tummy, Naruto was tired. He yawned and Sasuke noticed. He went over to Naruto and licked his cheek.
“Tired?” He asks him
Naruto hums and nods his head.
Sasuke leads him back to the nest and lets him lay down. Sasuke lays down next to him.
They both started to purr. With the sounds of the rest of his pack still playing and with his mate close to him, nuzzling into him, Naruto was lulled to sleep.
Naruto felt someone lick his cheek. Naruto groaned and shifts to get away. The person laughed and nuzzled his nose. He finally opened his eyes and saw Iruka standing in front of him.
“Papaaa” Naruto greeted
“Hello Naruto” Iruka says
Naruto stretches and yawns.
Sasuke was still behind him, He was awake and he smiled when he saw Naruto sit up.
It was the evening, and he saw the rest of his pack just hanging out and talking.
Naruto’s tail starts to wag.
Iruka tells him
“We all decided to take a stroll through the forest, wanna join us?”
Naruto nods in agreement.
Soon enough they were all walking in the forest. It was nice and chill. There was a slight breeze and the conversations they had going on were calming. It was a great way to end the day with the presence of his pack, his family.
