Sweet nothings
It was a sunny afternoon.. it was quite cold because of the winter, but that didn't stopped me.. i was walking with around bein' more specific.. looking for soemone, as you may know.. The Yule Ball was closer than we tought, more like, tommorow, me being lazy as ever i did not ask anyone out, but i did reject a lot of boys why? let me tell you. I having more like confusing feeling for the Hermione Granger, yes the one with the beautiful eyes and curly hair.. now, since my luck is the worst in my life i had a feeling she woud reject me. Why? because i have a feeling that She is in love with someone else.. or not...
i was deep in thought thinking, how should i approach her. Sadly there was no book or anything like that with a tilte 'how to ask a girl out' and then i spotted her. As ususal she was reading a book, 'god she looks even beautiful like that..' i thought.. When i realised i have been staring i pulled myself together and walked up to her..
"Hey Hermione" i said soflty, it's like i just came out of no where..
She jumped and turned towards me.. She took a few seconds to realise and recognise that i was a fellow Gryffinor and i was in the same call as her. "hello y/n " she said as she regaing her composure "I was unawere that you were here."
i chukled at her response "Well, i was wondering if someone has already asked you out for the Yule Ball?" i asked and smiled warmly as i sat down next to her and looking at her as i waited for a response.. she looked mesmerising..
Hermione face instantly flushed red. it was a beautiful sigh to see, and i blushed how she blushed for some odd reason. "no, not yet" she shook her head "and it's tomorrow, Are you going with anyone?"
i was frozen, did she knows about my feeling for her, i quickly snapped out of my thought as i looked at her and took a deep breath in and asked her the question "Well, i was wondering if you would like to come with me" i asked as i looked at her pretty brown eyes..
as i watched her reaction, she became a little bit more red, i couldn't tell if she was embaressed or having mutual feelings.. "me?!" she asked as she was in shock "Why would you want to go out with me?"
i took a deep breath in as i answered back "Well, one, i think you should come, two, i would like to see you there and three. I think you would look absolutley gorgeous" i smield at her as i let out a sigh i was prapered for anything.. i could see her mind was racing i held my breath as i waited her answer a few minutes later she realised what was going on and she strarted to panic.
"no, i can't, i.. i think you are really sweet and im flattered that you asked me to the dance. i really do. But i'm not intrested going with you" she said as she looked at me her tone was soft as honey and i know she tried not to break my heart but it was quite late for that now.. i nodded and looked at her "Alright, i did understand at the first time" i smield as i nodded again.
i saw she looked revieled that i took so well "Thank you for being so understanding and mature about it" she spoke "Some people would have made this into a big deal, but i appraciate how cool you've been about it" i nodded yet again and gave her a little smile, i stood up and turned around and walked away.. she watched me walk away and she felt revieled that encounter hadn't gone worse than it had. She was hoping things wouldn't be akward between me and her..
i was walking as i spotted jace my best friend who had a big smile on his face clearly not knowing that i've been rejected by my crush. "so what did she said?" he nudged me, i shook my head , not saying a word.. jace smile disappeared and he put his arm around me i felt hermione watching us like she knew Jace would be with me and gave me the comfort what i needed at this moment. Suddently i felt a tap on my shoulders i turned around seeing Draco with a smirk on his face "I've heard she turned you down " he said as his tone was dripping with condescension "it happens" i said as i teared up and jace held me tighter..
Draco smirk grew as he saw my tears in my eyes
"you look like youre about to burst into tears" he said as he took a step closer to me "i just.. i can't imagine why Hermione would turn you down. After all, everyone knows how much a goddness you are" i rolled my eyes "Not the time Draco.. Did you ask Pansy out tho?" I asked as i nudged him.. His smirk faded away slightly "She said no" he addmited after a brief pause. He looked at me trying to figure out what to say next..
then ive got an idea "Oh look at that both of us got rejected" i chuckled "Hey wanna go together?" i asked as i shrugged.. Draco's smirk returned. "Why the hell not?" he said confidently
