Chapter 4
TIMESKIP TO FIRST DAY OF HOGWARTS
REMUS' POV:
I was early on the train since they were only a few people going in so I went to our compartment Obviously James,peter and siriu- ehem my friends are still not here.
I mean i knew they were always late, but I can't help but wonder if he's alright he did look very bad on the last day I saw him I still regret the words that came out of my mouth the last time we talked. I was never violent with anyone, he didn't deserve what I did to him.
I didn't realize that I fell asleep but I woke up to james and peter talking
"Remyyyy Good morning!!" james practically yelled at me
"Quiet down james" I heard peter scold him
"You better get changed we're almost there"
"James?"
"Yeah?"
"where's sirius?"
"I don't know?"
remus's heart skipped a beat
"didn't he came home with you?"
"He..didn't."
and his heart stopped
"What!?"
When we reached hogwarts I tried to get a sight of him
I need to see him fast. I have to know that he's okay that he didn't go back to that awful house.
Hogwarts is filled with students but still no sight of him I was panicking in my seat while the first years are getting sorted
"Is remus alright?" I heard lily ask mary
"I'm not sure" I hear her answer but I couldn't care less about them I needed to find him.
Once the ceremony was done I ran to the dorms to get the map, james ran after me
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" I said between my heavy breathing as I ran all the way from the great hall to the dorms with james and peter following me
my heart is beating so fast and he's....he's
"not there?..." James said
"He's not on the map?" I hear peter ask
I didn't answer
I rushed to the secret room and still..not there
where is he?
Where is sirius?
my sirius.
I searched the whole castle even the secret rooms we've found and still no signs of him.
"Mate let's just sleep okay we'll ask dumbledore tomorrow." peter said
I just nodded
I can't believe he's gone just like that, I already thought i was gonna lose him when he jumped but this is far more worse than losing him...
him leaving.
I tried to sleep but all I can think about is him
I really should've just forgive him.
Remus fell asleep while thinking of sirius.
Remus woke up early to check if sirius was there but as expected he wasn't...
"Remus it's too early....." James whined
"I want to know where sirius is so come on!" He told james
The three marauders went to dumbledore's office
"Headmaster.." Remus said
"Ah I was expecting you three" Professor Dumbledore said
"Sir do you happen to know where sirius is?" James asked
"I'm afraid not"
and remus' world fell
"s-sir?" Peter asked
"Young sirius has left britain and has transferred to another wizarding school"
Dumbledore said
"W-what?" James said clearly surprised while remus just stayed quiet
