Summary
MUGGLE AUSo basically this is an au where Harry is a result of Lily and James thinking they were straight, Lily didn't want kids and just wanted to live her life carefree, James on the other hand did want kids and wanted to settle down, so Lily- without telling James- put baby Harry in an adoption center. James didn't find out until Harry was about 2 and was furious with lily, he went to the adoption center and began the adoption process,however, since god really does hate the gays, regulus (who james had gotten together with when harry was about 6 months or so) got cancer mid-adoption process, and James had to pause the adoption process to help regulus, after a year of treatments and a year of recovery, James and Regulus adopted 4 year old harry and raised them in James' NYC apartment for a few years but when Harry was 6 Regulus and James started discussing moving and eventually moved to a log cabin on the outskirts of a small town in NC called Hayesville, where James was originally from. Lily and James eventually made up and now Harry lives with James and Regulus on the weekdays, and Lily and Marleen on the weekends.
Note
Harry, gets a surprise in the form of Remus being his school teacher this year.
