Killer King
“You guys did amazing today. Good job.”
“Thanks, Lin. Means a lot.”
“Of course, Jamie. You guys always do amazing.”
“Aww. Do you love us that much?”
“Shut up, Marlene.”
They both laugh on their way out to the car. James’s phone rings when he was just about to get in his car. He picks up on the third ring. “Hey, Em. What you got for me?”’
“There’s this guy going to a bar tonight. I’ll text you the address.” James’s phone dings with a message.

‘Old Town Bar, 45 E 18th St, New York’
There’s a picture attached to the bottom of it. “Hot.”
“His names Noah Lollop, 25. He’s in trouble with the mob and wants to disappear. But you’re going to kill him before that happens.”
“Can I have fun with him first?”
“No. Quick and easy.”
James sighs loudly. “Fine.”
“And get Marlene to help. she needs to start helping.”
James rolls his eyes before saying goodbye to Emma and calling Marlene. “Hey, Jamie!”
“We got a job.”
“Good for you!”
“Emma says you have to help.”
“What!? Sorry! I can’t hear you! What’s wrong!?”
James sighs and hangs up. “Alright, by myself again.”
The bars on the other side of town which makes it around six-thirty when he finally gets there. He parks in an alleyway and when he walks in, he spots the man on the table immediately. Dancing on a table doesn’t exactly hide you from the mob. James thinks. He walks up to the man and dances with him. He rubs up against his front and he feels Noah’s erection growing. “Why don’t we get out of here?” James whispers in his ear. He nods and James grabs his hand, pulling him off the table and out the door. James drags Noah to the side of the building as they start kissing. James pulls out his knife from his belt and holds it against Noah’s neck.
“What the hell.” Noah seethes. “Are you the mob?”
James scoffs. “No. I’m much better than them.”
“Then who are you?”
“Just someone who takes jobs from the mob.”
James smirks as the man's face sculpts into fear. “You’re employed by the most dangerous assassin alive.”
James smiles sinisterly. “Actually, I am the most dangerous assassin alive. I’m just employed by someone else.”
James covers the man's mouth as he digs the knife in deeper and he screams. “Now, tell me why the mob wants you dead.” The man licks his hand and James takes away his hand and wipes it on Noah’s shirt. “Tell me.” He states.
“I needed money for my business, but I couldn’t pay them back.”
James scoffs. “Like you own a business.”
“No, my father did, and ran it into the ground.”
“That seems logical.” James takes the knife away.
“Please, let me go.”
James looks like he might debate it, but he stabs Noah in the heart. He sets Noah’s body on the ground and takes out his handmade knife. He wipes it on Noah’s shirt and puts it back in his belt. He then drags Noah’s lifeless body to his trunk and throws his body carelessly in it. He shuts the trunk and drives off. He makes it to the country and drags Noah’s body into the deeper part of the woods. He grabs his shovel and starts digging. He gets back to his car at eight-forty-three and drives back to his hotel. He snatches the blanket from the seat in the back and covers himself with it before walking up to his room, taking a shower, throwing out his bloodstained clothes, and falling asleep in his bed.
The next morning, he wakes up and does his two other shows for the day and goes to bed yet again. The morning after that, he wakes up to his best friend barging in his room with her what does she call it? Ahh, situationship.
“Jamie! It’s time to pack!”
“Yeah, yeah, I know. We’re going somewhere else today.”
“Exactly! And we need to be ready to leave!”
James cracks open one eye and stares at Dorcas. “Have fun last night?” He asks, closing his eye once again.
“Yes, actually. We went to another bar -”
“I meant with Dorcas. You know, because she’s just standing awkwardly by the doorway.”
“Oh! Right. Cas come in.” She walks farther in but stops.
“Dorcas, it’s okay.” James mumbles. “Come sit down.” She goes to sit on the couch beside Marlene.
“James! Get your ass up!”
“I was up late last night. I’d much rather sleep.” A phone rings from across the room and James finally gets up. He walks over to his phone on the stand in the doorway and looks at the caller ID.

“Hey.” James says after picking up.
“I got a lead.”
James’s eyes widen and he walks over to Marlene, putting it on speaker. “Marls and Dorcas are here.”
“Dorcas?” Emma mumbles faintly. “Never mind. I got a lead on Benjy.” Marlene jumps up and snatches the phone from James.
“Where?”
“Where you’re going next. New Jersey.”
