The Night Before The Full Moon - Wolfstar
Remus has been very down all day. And Sirius has been noticing it, so he looks through the lunar calendar, and finds the reason why.
Tonight is the night before the full moon.
Immediately, Sirius runs down to the local market and gets a whole lot of chocolate and a good stack of books and blankets and pillows.
When Sirius returns to the house, he sees what could best be described as a sad blanket-cocoon on the couch. He immediately knows that his boyfriend, Remus Lupin, is inside this sad blanket-cocoon.
So Sirius does what any boyfriend would, and walks up to the couch, plopping down beside the cocoon. He puts his arms around it, and Remus sticks his head out from the blankets.
“Chocolate, cuddles and bad movies all night?” Sirius suggests in a gentle tone. Remus just nods, leaning against Sirius’ body. Sirius puts on their favourite bad movie and hands Remus some chocolate, which Remus accepts.
“It’s a full moon tomorrow night..” Remus mumbles after three bad movies. “I know,” Sirius simply says.
“Wait, what? How?” Remus sits up, confused.
“You were down, so I checked that lunar calendar, you keep on the top shelf in your dresser,” Sirius simply says. “Oh, that.. Actually makes sense.. But why, though?” Remus asks, lying back down against Sirius’ chest.
“I care about you, Rem,” Sirius simply says, stroking Remus’ hair. “I love you too, Sirius,” Remus mumbles, knowing Sirius struggles with saying the L-word, and that Sirius uses ‘care’ as his way of saying ‘love’. Remus then starts drifting off to sleep in Sirius’ arms. Sirius listens to the sound of Remus’ breathing for a while, until he, too, drifts off to sleep.
