He spends the day trying to shake off the tension that settles in his shoulder caused by the inevitable meet up with his mother. Yes he could have avoided it. But Sirius wants to make a point to be the one to welcome his baby siblings !
James offered to join on the ride, always in for a little adventure.
“You never see one, without the other !” Ones said his favorite teacher.
To be honest it eased some weight on Sirius chest. James slept on Sirius shoulder, the poor boy lak of sleep after talking to a very much stress out Sirius all night.
Sirius didn’t take this eyes off the window. Watching the landscape going backward,
time is also going backward for Sirius. The rhythm of the wheels on the railway track is hypnotizing to Sirius' ears.
The empty train stopped, Sirius blinked and just like that the countryside turned into King Cross.
Doors open to collect all the first year at the train station. Sleepy head James gives him a reassuring smile like : nothing in the world is wrong.
- I’m coming back
James nods, because it’s a fact, there is no other outcome. Sirius wishes they were back to Hogwarts already.

Sirius crawl through the crowded toward his little sister voice

Sirius' gaze softens when he looks down, to find what he came here for.
Regina hold a young boy’s arm, like she would hold Leonie's arm.
“Où est Leo ? is she granted ?”
- Regina, Regulus, you go now. states their mother.

And after a long bit, Sirius works it out ! but not at the same time. This boy, it is in fact Leonie in front of him. The little child that always claimed to be a boy. Happy tears are gathering in Sirius's eyes. A sight Sirius is honored to witness, so soon. Sirius advocated for his baby sibling so many times, each time less successful than the one before. Why so soon ? Why did their mother allow that ? certainly not in the name of love. It’s a poisoned gift, a cruel one.
how can she use his little baby brother's identity for her own benefit ? What was the price for Leonie rebirth ? Many questions in his head, none of them come out of his mouth. Sirius knows better, he won’t give his mom the satisfaction of asking directly to her. She doesn’t get to win.

Anyway, her time is up, here come Hogwarts with years, and years ! Some much time to spend with his little sister, and his little brother away from this home.
Sirius lift his chin up with pride. That may be the best day of his life.
