Day 13 - Christmas Photo
Photos, Natsuo thinks, are something precious.
Growing up in the Todoroki household has never been something to be proud of, not as long as Endeavour deemed them failures. All around the house not a single photo of them existed. Deemed as nothing worthy about pictures. Even his eldest brother Touya never had any pictures, Endeavour taking him to train day in and day out until his death. The man wasted no time immediately focusing on Shouto the moment his quirk manifested, even then no photos were ever taken. Maybe that’s why he felt so strongly about taking a Christmas photo. It was purely for selfish reasons, Natsuo understood that.
He knew that Harry never had been fond of having his photo taken. Perhaps, when Harry allowed him to take a photo together, he felt so thankful. Never crushing his boyfriend into the biggest hug that he’d ever given. Immediately beginning planning out the photo, setting up the perfect set up and decorating.
Natsuo wanted the photo to be perfect. At least, that's what he wanted.
"You know," Harry tells him. "It doesn't have to be a big thing. I'm just glad to be and share this with you."
Those words were enough to bring Natsuo back to earth. What had been important was the important wasn't the setting or what was in the picture rather the people in the picture and the moment shared together.
"This is a good photo." Harry tells him leaning over his shoulder.
Natsuo chuckles, leaning up and planting a kiss. "Yeah, it's my favourite."
"Our favourite." Harry corrects earning a chuckle from Natsuo. As the photo placed gently within the album. A picture of Natsuo and Harry sitting on the couch leaning against each other smiling, while the scenery had been filled with Christmas designs and decorations. It had been the loving nature in the picture that mattered the most.
Natsuo and Harry. Their first Christmas together and for many more to come.
