Tour Bus
“Did you grab your phone charger?” Hope yelled from where she was making breakfast in the kitchen. Remus groaned already having to have this conversation twice today with her.
“Yes mom! I’m fully packed and I haven’t forgotten anything, I think it would be impossible to considering you’ve had me go over the very thorough list five times!” Remus yelled walking towards the smell of the food she is making.
As soon as he steps through the threshold to the kitchen she is shoving Tupperware filled to the brim into his arms. “You never eat right when traveling so I’ve packed you some snacks that should last you for a bit ,ok?” She placed a cloth tote bag on top of the containers for him to put them in.
“Mom I’m not going to have time or space to get all of these into the bag, they told me
car would pick me up at 9:30 and it’s 9:28!” Remus worried.
“Oh fine I’ll do it for you!” Hope pushed him out of the kitchen, telling him to wait at the door with his bags.
Hope handed him the bag, bursting at the seems, right as the chauffeur knocked on the door. After a quick tearful goodbye between the two Remus followed the chauffeur to the car and started the drive.

“NO!” Sirius yelled, there is no way he thinks.
“Sirius calm down, he’s about to be here so don’t be rude! What do have against him? As far as we are aware you two have never even met!” Dorcas scolded, pulling Sirius back down into his seat on the bus next to him.
“Well then I’m sorry to inform you that we have in fact met before, because we dated for years!” Sirius yelled again, unable to contain himself. He’s about to be stuck on a tour bus with the man he wrote all of his songs about.
Dorcas gapes at him “I’m sorry Sirius but it’s too late now, he’s already signed on and he’s on all of the advertisements for the tour.” She explains while he paces.
“Is there anyway to keep us more separate on the bus?” Sirius asks while trying to think of if he can survive sleeping on a couch for the next month and a half.
“I’m sorry, but no.” Dorcas gives him a pitiful look as he dramatically falls onto the couch behind him. “Look, just be civil and don’t make it worse than it already is ok?”
Sirius huffs in response, which is enough of an answer for Dorcas because she walks out of the room already typing away on her phone.
Remus arrives ten minutes later.
^^^^^^^
“Hello?” Remus calls out into the bus, Dorcas told him she would be waiting inside so she could speak to him before they departed, but she is nowhere in sight.
“Hello, Remus.” A voice calls out from the side of the bus and Remus’s blood runs cold. He turns towards the sound and laying there lounging on the couch is Sirius Black.
Of course Remus, being a very mature person, does what any other person would do. “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE!?! GET OUT BEFORE I CALL SECURITY!” He screamed.
From the look on Sirius’s face it seems he didn’t expect this reception but Remus doesn’t have it in himself to care.
“Woah, calm down Moony.” Sirius stood and slowly walked towards Remus like he was a wild animal.
“Don’t call me that.” Remus bit out. Last time he saw him he was able to stay calm and pleasant, but right now when all he wants to do is set down his stuff and explore the tour bus he can’t bring himself to be nice. “What are you doing on my tour bus?” Remus questions, desperately hoping it’s not what he thinks it might be.
Sirius raises an eyebrow “I think you mean my tour bus.”
No, no, no, this cannot be happening to him right now, he knew he should have asked who he was opening for. Really when did he get this stupid. “Do you mean to tell me I’m opening for your tour?” He desperately clings to the idea that maybe he got in the wrong bus and Sirius is going on a different tour than Remus’s.
“Yep, so we should probably talk about being civil with one another for the next couple months.” Sirius replies rather maturely. It makes Remus want to slap him.
“Fine.” Remus replies. “I’ll start, I do not like you and want to interact with you as little as possible.”
Sirius laughs, unamused and dry “Same here, which is why I propose that we don’t talk to each other unless absolutely necessary. Unfortunately we have to sleep in beds next to each other, but they have curtains so we don’t have to look at the other.” Sirius explains calmly.
“If that’s as good as we can get then that’s fine with me. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to settle in.” Remus looks around and walks through a narrow doorway that he’s pretty sure leads to the beds which he discovers is correct when he walks into one. “OUCH!” He yelps loudly, pressing his hand into his thigh where he could already feel a bruise forming.
Remus hears the sound of footsteps quickly approaching him and he turns around right as Sirius walks through the doorway and into Remus. “Are you ok? I heard you yell and thought something might be wrong.” Sirius worries while checking his side. Remus however is currently not breathing because his gorgeous ex boyfriend who he has very confusing and compels feelings go, is on his knees in front of him checking his injury. Remus is dying.
“REMUS?!” Sirius shouts shaking Remus out of his head.
“Yeah, what is it?” Remus replies sharply suddenly remembering he’s supposed to hate him.
Sirius rolls his eyes “Were you even listening to me? I was asking you if you are ok.”
“Oh yeah, I’m fine.”
Sadly, Sirius gets off his knees “Good, if you weren’t I would have to spend more time around you.” Sirius says, already back to an icy tone.
Remus huffs a laugh “As if you aren’t dying to be near me, you heard me walk into a bed and immediately fell to your knees in front of me. A bit desperate, don’t you think?” Remus slowly walked closer to Sirius.
A blush creeped its way onto Sirius’s face turning him a bright red “Wh-what? No, I was just worried that you broke something and we’d have to find another opener the night before the first show which would just stress out Dorcas, and then she’d take out her stress on me for not doing something to jelly you-“ Sirius rambles, taking a step back with every step Remus takes forward until he bumps into a wall.
“Sounds like you’re making excuses. I think you’re nervous.” Remus leans his arms on the wall on either side of Sirius’s head what the fuck is happening right now?!? What am I doing? Remus thinks but he can’t stop himself from leaning his face close to Sirius’s. There’s just something about Sirius that draws Remus in, it’s dangerous and exciting.
“Why would I be nervous?” Sirius stutters out, brazenly staring at Remus’s lips.
Remus licks his lips “I can think of a few reasons why.” But before he can make a really dumb decision he is stopped by the sound of the bus door opening. Remus flies across the room away from Sirius, purposely avoiding his gaze.
Dorcas walks over to them with a curious look on her face. “Well it seems you two have already reunited! We can get this show on the road right away then.” She turns and walks over to the driver telling him that they are ready to depart.
Sirius moves off of the wall and walks back towards his seat in the main part of bus and Remus tracks his every movement. He is so screwed.
