“I think so, Dumbledore said something about keeping him out of the wizarding world for his safety…”

“So do we just go inside?” Remus asks
“Well we should probably knock”
“Yeah let’s do that”

Remus winces at the shrill voice
Oh right werewolves have enhanced senses so this extremely annoying voice is probably worse for him
“Hi we’re looking for Harry Potter”
“What do you want with that brat”
A male voice asks from behind the women, Remus and Reg immediately go stiff
“What. did. you. call. him.” Reg hisses out
“A brat, what’s it to you?”
“That brat is my… god-nephew and I would like to see him”
“Who are you?” There’s a small boy with glasses who looks just like James. He’s not the one who asked, it was another boy. This boy was chubby and didn’t look anything like Lily or James. Regulus assumes that Harry was the boy with glasses.
Facing the smaller boy: “Hi, Harry, my name is Regulus and this is Remus, we were friends with your parents.” He speaks softly and his heart feels tight in his chest
“You knew my parents!” Harry lights up
“Yes we did”
Regulus pushes past the frozen muggles to reach Harry
“What were they like!!”
“I’ll tell you all about them but right now I need to know about your life with your aunt and uncle,” Remus tells Harry, he’s not quite as heartstruck as Regulus currently is
“Well… I… ummm…”
“Why don’t you show us your room” Remus Prompts
He leads them to a cupboard a fucking cupboard, that’s it Regulus is most definitely not leaving Harry with these people
“How would you like to live with me, my brother is your godfather and once he can take care of you, you’ll live with him but until then you could live with me?” Regulus says
“You want me to live with you?”
“I would love having you live with me,”
Harry being eight years old and not liking the Dursley agrees quickly which probably wasn’t a great idea:oh yes let’s go with strangers he’s known for all of five minutes… but again he’s eight
“You can’t just take him” the women screeches
“Oh and you’re going to stop us” Reg takes out his wand and the women backs away and lets them past
“That’s what I thought”
“In order to get home we’re going to apparate, you might get a little nauseous so just be ready,” Regulus warns Harry

*pop*
Harry turns green but a wide smile soon erupts across his face
“Oh my god, that was so cool, how did you do that?”
“You don’t know about Magic?” Regulus asks slowly
“Magic is real!!” Harry lights up
“It’s very real and you’ll get to learn some when you’re older,” Remus tells him
“So cool…”
“Kreacher, please get us some tea and biscuits,”
“Ofcourse, Master Regulus!!”
“Let’s sit and we can start explaining” Regulus says
“What do we explain first”
“Let’s start with my brother, ok *deep breath* Harry I have an older brother his name is Sirius, he’s your godfather but he was falsely convicted of a crime that he didn’t do.”
“Masters tea” Kreacher appears with a tray of tea and goodies
“Thank you Kreacher”
“What crime?” Harry asks
“Your parents were in hiding and Sirius was accused of… telling Voldemort where they were and then… Voldemort killed them.” Remus is content to let Regulus lead this conversation
“But.. I thought they died in a car crash.”
“…No they were killed… but we know that Sirius is innocent so once we can prove it then he’ll love to meet you”
“How do we prove him innocent!!” Remus perks up at this
“Well for that we actually need your help”
“Really!!”
“Yep, I think that if we have access to your parents will the information we need to prove Sirius innocent will be in there, but their will was sealed and only you can unseal it”
Reg had tried to see James will when he first woke up but the Goblins told him it had been sealed
“Ok how do I do that?”
“We’ll worry about that tomorrow for now let’s get you settled.”
After tea Regulus shows Harry a guest room, he thought about giving him Sirius’ room but Sirius was a teenager and Harry is eight there are some things in there that Harry doesn’t need to see….
He asks Remus if he would prefer to sleep in a guest room or Sirius’ room, Remus chooses to sleep in a guest room. Reg knows it’s because he isn’t ready to face Sirius’ room but he leaves it be.
Harry Potter- ensure his safety, who he is with ect.- Luna Lovegood- she should be living with her her father but Reg wants to check in on her anyways

there’s a long drumming joke that Pandora’s friends call Xenophelius, Xylophone, Barty started it
This is Regulus Black I have been in a coma for ten years and when I woke up I learned of Pandora’s passing. My condolences. I was hoping to connect and possibly meet her daughter. Although I know that you will want what’s best for Luna and I will concede to your judgment.
I would also like to know the location of Pandora’s grave so that I may pay my respects.
