Chapter 2
James slowly walked into the local library, The smell of old book and dust filled the air, it was empty except for a librarian sitting reading at the desk.
“Excuse me, ma’am?” James said walking towards her “i’m looking for the Hoover Map” He said glinting a small smile.
“Oh, yes down that hall and the left to the stairs” she said pointing to the narrow hallway with old posters from decades ago. The stairs were wonky and narrow but James made it down. He look straight to the room and there it was, A map that looked like a normal map but digital and as james walked towards it, it spoke to him “Hello, state your name and who you are searching for” in a computerised voice
“Umm, James Potter i’m looking for Regulus Black” James said in wonder
“Error 2145 , please state full names to continue” it buzzed
“James Fleamont Potter, searching for Regulus… ummm Arc” James couldn't remember his middle name. Then the machine sacred anyway
“Were sorry we couldn't find anyone for Regulus Arc but we did find results for these 15 people who might be them” The machine said again as James scanned the names and finally saw one with ‘Black” and attempted to tap it but it didn't do anything. ‘Is there a remote?’ he thought before he decided to try and find regulus middle name to try again he walked back up the stairs to the librarian and asked if she had a book on the ‘noble house of Black’ She dug through some records and then stood up and walked to the back of library and handed him a book with a thick layer of dust on it, before she returned back to her desk.
James read through, He knew Regulus would have been named after someone from there family and it didn't take him that long to find a page about a man called Arcturus. James knew it was Regulus name by the sound of it. He headed back down the stairs to the computer again
“James Fleamont Potter, searching for Regulus Arcturus Black” James spoke to the machine. The machine started humming and the screen started moving with a circle showing a little town in Cornwall, England
“Last known address of Regulus Arcturus Black in West Pentire, England ” it spoke flashing the circle on the town. James ran out the library and looked for the closest floo network
He ended up in a phone booth in a small seaside village. He walked down the road looking for a store or something all he found was a small little cafe. There was a few people working in there he walked to the counter and asked if they knew Regulus
“Hello, im looking for Regulus Black, does he live around here?” The man at the counter shook his before a lady came to him “Excuse me are you looking for Regulus, he lives a couple doors down from me on ‘random name’ road. Its out in the countryside just 5 minutes from here, its a small white and grey brick cottage full of the white flowers and a big tree in the garden. If you just follow this road left you'll find it” the woman said before James thanked her and left to walk there.
