The beginning of a long 48 hours and a rouge broom
The next three weeks Percy fell into a routine he would go to lessons and attempt to get stuff done then he would return to the dorm with Theo and they would finish up together. Percy would then spend time with Annabeth and he even became friends with a few Gryffindors and this one Hufflepuff Tonks
On Saturdays he would Swim in the black lake getting used to the creatures, occasionally rescuing one of them. He hexed anyone at Hogwarts he found littering since.
When October 15th arrived he had completely forgotten about Flying Lessons. That was Until Draco started talking about his ‘Adventures’ and after Percy pointed out that if one were to get too close to the propellers they would 100% start sucking the broom into them, Draco started complaining like a child and ran off.
When the dreaded lessons came he stood next to Theo and Annabeth Hooch and told them to call the broom to them and Percy’s rose on the first try. Percy looked up at the sky and saw clouds rolling in.
Just as he was about to drop the broom Neville started flying up and up. Percy watched as the teacher did nothing but command something Neville didn’t know what to do.
Percy dropped the broom and looked around seeing a lake nearby. He felt the tug in his gut and attempted (the best he could) to guide the water to him and created a soft pool of water pushing it towards Neville right before he fell.
Percy made sure not to reach out but feel for the water so it didn’t look like he did it.
After Neville was safe the class continued as it would. Other than Percy who refused to get on the broom and as a result got detention.

Percy continued on life as normal for the next few weeks. He knew that James’ death anniversary was coming soon and he had to pretend that his ‘Father’ and mom was dead.
He could mostly pretend his mom was dead, he remembered how he felt when he realized his Mom was dead and he had a parent who didn’t help when smelly Gabe decided that Percy was the perfect punching bag.
He later realized His dad Did give child support Gabe just took the money.
Percy walked through the Halls of Hogwarts with Tonks next to him talking about how next year she is going to be na auror in training.
“Imagine it, Percy, I’ve always lived as the child of Andromeda and wispers of ‘did you hear, her mother was disowned’ and ‘Poor child’ Its so annoying, but now i will make a name for myslef ‘Dora tonks-’ cus i am changing my name ‘Head auror” Percy nodded along.
“That seems cool, personally i’m wanting to be a marine biologist” She looked at him then shivered “At least your not wanting to be the minister”
“Definetly not!” Percy thought of being the minister and shivered, the ministry was to much like olympus.
Percy arrived at the great hall and when he walked inside he saw Pumpkins in the sky, Candy decorations and it hit him that Halloween was Tomorrow, he sighed and resolved for a long 48 hours.
