Once Annabeth and Percy arrived at the leaky cauldron and Sally left they were left with Snape whom they were told to call ‘Professor Snape’ They walked inside the leaky and passed everyone to a brick wall, Annabeth looked at the professor then at the wall and said with a deadpan “Are you going to open it?” Percy was snickering still in his Camp Half-blood shirt.
Professor Snape looked at Annabeth's shirt then my shirt and said “I'm going to transfigure those into different shirts they will turn back to normal the minute you get back home.” Percy gave him a weird look “Why would you need to do that?” he asked incrediously.
Professor Snake sighed and said, “Firstly you are famous and that bright orange is bringing attention to you and almost everyone knows your scar.” Percy nodded
“And secondly the term ‘Half bood’’ is a term used by wixen saying you are half wix and half muggle, Not a lot of purebloods, (People who have two wizarding parents), like half-bloods or muggle-borns which Annabeth would technically be but, we are saying your mom left when you were young and she was a witch. Muggleborns are considered the lowest and get made fun of by almost everyone. This is why we are saying that you Annabeth are a Half-Blood, Percy you already are a Half-Blood your mom was a Wix and your dad posed as one so he is technically not a wizard but it counts in everyone else's eyes, The only one who knew your dad was poseidon was Li-Sally and I found out when you got your letter”
Professor Snape looked at the kids with a glare and took out his wand which to Percy looked like a stick. He raised his wand (Stick) and Percy slightly flinched, Not enough to be noticeable but Annabeth caught his hand twitching to grab Riptide. Suddenly their shirts were different, Annabeth’s shirt was now sea green with a book as the design instead of the normal words. Percy’s shirt was blue with waves on it. They both looked down at their shirts then at each other and laughed at the resemblance they each had something to do with their godly parent. Professor Snape sneered and opened the brick wall to show Diagon Alley, Percy looked at it in awe, not as much as the normal wixen child, But still in awe. When Percy looked at Annabeth she looked like she had stars in her eyes looking at all the buildings. They started walking forward and that's when it hit Percy “Professor we don't have any money how are we going to pay for what we need, And what do we even need.”
“Well if you could Read you would see what we need in the letter you got, And your father was adopted by one of the sacred 28, The Potters, so you have a wealthy inheritance and as for Annabeth, The school has a fund for people who can't afford it, but if she wants any extra books or anything she either has to pay, or you do.” Percy looked at her face and saw a mischievous grin. ‘So I'm paying then’ he thought with a groan.
They ended up going to a building that Percy couldn't read, He looked at the building and asked Annabeth “Do you have any better idea what that says?” She looked at it and shook her head “All I can make out is Gitrot? I think” Snape looked back at them “It says Gringotts bank, Dont you Kids know how to read?” he said with a sneer. The duo followed behind Snape and as they were walking they saw a goblin. They knew gobbledook from being at camp.
Back at camp Goblins were often the only creatures that didn't want to hurt the campers, Yes they had their moments but compared to other creatures they were tame, They also were very helpful and didn't like mortals, so Chiron wanted everyone to learn gobbledook and Goblin culture after learning Greek. For Percy, learning gobbledook was easy to learn. Annabeth has been at camp for years so she knew gobbledook and more languages, However, she could never figure out how Percy knew the snake language, not even she knew that
When they got up to the counter The duo bowed In a way they were taught to and suddenly the entire hall of goblins went silent they were all staring at The duo who rose, Annabeth noticed them staring and asked “Does no one in the wixen world bow to goblins?” The goblin at the counter told them to follow him and were led into a room.
The room was warm, It had a couch on the side and 2 seats in front of the desk, The goblin told the Duo to sit in the chairs and snape to sit on the couch.
After a little while the goblin spoke. “Name and titles Please.” Annabeth stood up and bowed “Annabeth Chase daughter of Athena” She stood back up and sat down, then Percy stood up and bowed “Perseus Potter Son of Poseidon, prince of the sea” he stood up and sat down and the goblin nodded, “It seems you two are demigods?” Both Percy and Annabeth nodded. The goblin brought out two pieces of parchment and a small knife he told them you put 3 drops on the paper, Annabeth took the knife first and let three drops fall onto the paper before cleaning the knife and handing it to Percy as he did the same, Words started to form on the papers.

Snape looked over the duo's shoulder at their papers and couldn't read it. Percy and Annabeth looked at the paper and then at the goblins and Percy said “Is this Greek?” the goblin nodded and read over the papers and said “Next year will both of you come back to get tested again? This test was to show your accomplishments over the past year and it's always good to know.”
The goblin then brought out the box and spoke again in Gobbledook “Prince Potter-”
“Please just Percy or Perseus”
“Ok Perseus here are your heir rings and when you leave you should get another one to talk to your father.” Percy nodded which was a relief, He wouldn't have to go to a sea of water to talk to his father anymore. He took the first ring, The potter ring it had a blue gemstone, Saphire, and a gold band wrapping around the gemstone he put it on and felt the warmth of his mom's hugs.
He picked up the next ring, The black ring. The gemstone was black, Black opal, and a silver band resembling vines. He put it on and felt the cool embrace of being dunked underwater.
He took the next ring, The Slytherin ring was a silver snake with emerald eyes, Percy put it on and felt Like he was in Hades' presence, and then it was gone.
Professor Snape stood up “We came to get some money out of Percys’ Potter Vault, If we are finished now may we.” The goblin nodded and led them toward the cart and they got in, The cart started and Percy was cheering, and Annabeth was just watching with amusement as Professor Snape looked a little green.
When they arrived Professor Snape handed the goblin the key and when the door opened there were Piles upon Piles of gold, Percy started grabbing gold then the goblin grabbed a bag from the ground gave him the bag, and said “It's an infinite bag connected to the vault, You just say the amount you need and it will show up.” Percy looked at the gold looked to his Professor and asked
“Sir what do each of them mean?” his professor explained.
