the first investigation
September 30th 2023, day 0 of Wopke
Sam and Dean then started privately messaging about the situation as we didn’t want to spam the group chat that this was originally happening in. Dean thought that maybe the man that she knew that looked liked Wopke was Wopke’s first twin. This was the first time that the number 8 came into it, remember this number, as it is extremely important later on. Dean had left the place with Wopke’s twin 8 years ago, which meant that he had waited 8 years to get back at her. The siblings were frightened that Wopke may be out to kill them. As the day was still September 30th, they decided to research the date and see what connection it had with the situation, because why else would the signs be sent on that specific day? After a little bit of research, they realised that September 30th was national extra virgin olive oil day. Sam tu-whit tu-whooed that maybe it repelled him just like salt repels demons, but Dean knew better than that. Why would he want them to know that oil hurt him? So they figured it must attract him. It was so frightening, and they gained the new fear that Wopke would grab their ankles. They kept researching the date as it was their biggest lead at the time, and they found out it was national rabbit day. That’s when they realised he was a rabbit animagi. The fear that Wopke would come to their houses as a rabbit and then turn into Wopke and kill them made them panic, so they continued the investigation.
They weren't so sure if Wopke spoke English or not, but they knew he spoke Dutch, so Sam decided to send him a message on Instagram saying “hey wopke ben jij een konijn animagi wees eerlijk”, translating to “hey wopke are you a rabbit animagi be honest.” Dean was a little panic-stricken by this, she said that if he views it, she would “delete her entire online platform and live in a cave.” He was giving inhumane vibes to both of the siblings, and they were freaking out a tad. They decided to start translating his posts, and they uncovered some more secrets, such as how he knows the king. They continued to message each other, when Sam’s keyboard malfunctioned and she sent a bell emoji. This brought back a memory of when they were previously having a cooing session and Sam misspelt “help” as “bell” and Dean said Sam ate a bell. Some more theories were thought of, such as Wopke wanting to choke us with a bell, and Wopke being Santa. They realised that someone named “Henri” was tagged in one of Wopke’s posts, so they went on a journey to find out who the mystery man was. Dean searched “Henri” on google and the first thing that came up was a person named Henrietta. They wanted to find out what Henri had to do with Wopke, but they got a bit side tracked at this point. In one of his posts, Wopke was in a meadow. Dean connected this with the character “Dorcas Meadowes” who was murdered by Voldemort personally. They then found out that Wopke was a vampire. I am extremely unsure how they came to the conclusion as the evidence has now been erased. They connected the song “Vampire” to Guts by Olivia Rodgrigo.
They looked into the album for more signs, and they concluded that Wopke had a grudge against us and it’s a bad idea. They continued looking through the man’s Instagram profile, and they saw a terrifying sight of Wopke showing hand symbols. They weren’t sure what the hand symbols meant, but he was doing them in a large amount of photos. As they were talking about the symbols, Sam said the words “WE NEED TO FIND OIT, UTS PUKE AN YPSIDE DOWN TRIANGLE.” Now, what she meant to say was “WE NEED TO FIND OUT, IT’S LIKE AN UPSIDE DOWN TRIANGLE.” but the typo “puke” was definitely not just a coincidence. It had to be another sign. There was a song that Eminem sang named puke, and they decided to look at the lyrics. What we found out was terrifying. The lyrics read out: “I knew I shouldn't go and get another tattoo of you on my arm, but what do I go and do? I go and get another one, now I got two. (Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) Now I’m sitting here with your name on my skin.” 2 names. For Dean and Sam. It was all starting to make sense. Then, Dean’s computer malfunctioned once again. It zoomed into a horrifying photo on Wopke’s Instagram, and it wouldn’t let her exit out of it. The photo was of Wopke doing the hand symbol yet again. They then found yet another photo. In the image, Wopke had his hand extended, and the shadow underneath it did not match up. Instead of being hand shaped, the shadow looked identical to a tentacle. Another image popped up on Dean's screen from Wopke’s Instagram. It was a photo of the letters “CDA” with a pride flag in the background. They had to discover what those letters meant. They then cooed something about Remus Lupin and figured it must mean something. Remus Lupin is tied into Dorcas Meadowes, as well as Wolfram and Hart, and Remus Lupin is a werewolf. Some more signs were then said. Dean said “HEMO” instead of help, which meant blood. Then Sam said “RHAR” instead of that, which meant “Reducing Heart Attack Risk.” Blood tied into vampires, and heart tied into Wolfram and HART, which is also connected to vampires as it is in the show “Angel”. They then found a photo of Wopke with sunflowers. They searched up what Sunflowers represented and Google told them it meant “long life”. Vampires also live long lives. It was all coming together. Angel was set in Los Angeles, so they researched what Los Angeles was known for. The result that came up was “the city of flowers and sunshine.” Sunflowers. Sam said to Dean that it was all making sense, even though it shouldn’t be. Dean wanted to respond with “right” but she accidentally typed “eight”. Remember the number 8? They decided to research the song 8 by Billie Eilish. One of the lyrics in the song was “Wore my heart out on a chain around my neck but now it’s missing.” The words “heart” and “neck” connected to the vampire theory extremely well. Then they realised that the number 8 turned to the side made an infinity symbol. This represents how vampires live forever. We realised that he has visited almost everywhere in the world, except for Australia and the UK, meaning he would go there next. He was coming for us.
In September 1975, the month and year he was born, 2000 people were killed in an earthquake. That must’ve been caused by the birth of Wopke. The exact date he was born, 5 people drowned in Niagara falls. Remember the number 5. It too also is a big part of the wopkeverse. They connected the deaths to the supernatural episode where when one person lives, another must die. This means that Wopke must have 4 siblings, making 5 children in total. One of them being Wopke’s twin from earlier. Someone with the name “Wopke Hoekstra” died exactly 2 years before our Wopke was born. That is when Sam said “bUT SOMEONE WITH THE EXACT SAME NAME AS HIM DIED 2 YRS BEFORE JIM”. Jim. They figured that Jim must’ve been one of the siblings. He was the one sending us the signs, trying to help them. (The reason he was trying to help them is because Wopke killed him. This was for unknown reasons but we suspect it was because he was bi, a theatre kid and Taylor Swift fan, but we will get into that later.) They then deleted their stories tagging Wopke, as Jim had sent them signs not to, and they feared that the stories would lead to them being in danger. Then they found another one of the siblings, James Hoekstra. So now we have Jim, James, Wopke’s first twin and Wopke. They just needed one more to complete the 5 children. The name ‘Hoekstra’ means ‘river bend’, which ties into the Niagara Falls drownings. When we searched it up, we found a politician that went by the name of ‘Arnout Hoekstra’. That was the last sibling. They had gathered all five of them! Next, another sign was sent by Jim. The name “Sohail”. Sam and Dean decided to research him. He’s an actor, who has a 5 year age gap from the Hoekstra siblings, and has 4 siblings, making 5 children all together. The number 5 yet again. The number 5 was now mentioned 3 times, making the number ‘555’. They searched up the meaning of the number, and it came up with “change and transformation”. Remember how Wopke was a rabbit animagi? He changes and transforms. They weren’t sure why Wopke was after them specifically, but they figured it may of been because they enjoyed the shows ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Angel’. Then the biggest realisation of all hit. They had been doing so much research, and it finally all made sense. The day this was all happening. The day that the signs had been shown. It was September 30th. Wopke’s birthday.
