The first night back at Hogwarts felt like a blessing for Cassiandra Aera. Her mother, while being her number one supporter and rock, was also someone you could only take so much of before your head began to explode and drive you towards insanity.
The girl got off the carriage with a few fellow Gryffindors as well as a straggler Slytherin who couldn't find another carriage to ride in. Not that Cassiandra minded. She quite liked all the other houses equally and opted for more house unity whenever possible.
Returning for her sixth year was possibly one of the most magical experiences of her life. Cassiandra valued her education and all she could learn from both teachers and peers alike. It was funny that she ended up in Gryffindor instead of Ravenclaw. She tended to act a lot more like a Ravenclaw than she ever did Gryffindor.
The carriages came to a halt, and the one Slytherin was quick to get away from the Gryffindors. Being as careful as Cassandra stepped down from the carriage, making sure to thank the thestrals which very few could see.
Walking with her fellow peers, she made her way into the Great Hall and sat down near the front of the table. She always did this the first day back as she enjoyed greeting all the new first-years and giving them the warm welcome, she wished someone would have given her. She made sure to make friends with as many first years as possible, and as they grew older, they all loved her and were forever grateful for her acts of kindness.
