For those of you who are from any of my other fics, shut up, I know I should be working on those, I'll get to it I swear. In the meantime, enjoy this!Some things to know before starting this fic! James is Latino, this means his speech patterns are occasionally going to differ from proper English, since people who are bilingual do stuff like that.This is a magical universe but doesn't have Hogwarts and it's more of a modern fantasy kind of thing. Like a meshed world, where everyone is aware of all the magical things and humans live amongst them in kind of harmony. A lot of things get explained as we go but the main stuff to know is that you have to be born an Immortal, you can't be made one, and it's generally frowned upon in society for Immortals and Mortals to have romantic relations. I'm going to separate the Mortal and Immortal races just so you can come back to it and it's not as confusing.Immortals: Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies, Dragonborn, Demons/Angels (which will be reffered to as different things based off which religion or region of the world they come from)Mortals: Humans, Merfolk, Imps (half demon/angel, half human), Witches/Wizards, Nymphs.Mortals that age differently: Elves (can live up to 300 years longer then most Mortals, but is lessened the more diluted the bloodline gets), Gorgons (Can live up to 250 years old and their bodies don't age past 33, they just slowly turn to stone from the inside out), Banshee (they technically belong to the Immortals, but they're just ageless, you can still kill them in a mortal way.)With all that out of the way please enjoy!!
