Welcome to Australia
Looking at the property of House Potter in front of them, a victorian manor in all its glory, which had greek influences within its structure, Nyphadora whistled in amazement, all the while she bounced a sleepy Teddy on her hip.
“Damn, baby cos, you for sure are loaded huh, and seeing as we are using your money- does this make you our sugar mama?” She said with a grin towards the now off-put younger cousin in question, all the while Remus groaned in embarrassment at what his wife just uttered, while the engaged couple that is Theodore and Susan simply grinned at them all.
Andromeda had opted to stay in England with her sister, seeing as she would be alone as well- what with Draco and Astoria spending time in France together, that and in the old woman’s words ‘Someone has to stay here to keep the peace!’, she told them referring to the press and Politics in general, even though they worked on that already, what with the whole of the English Wizarding world being in the palm of their hands now, to do their bidding. Even if Hariel tried to say differently about the matter.
It is the fact of the matter.
“Do not call me that, Nyphadora. But yes, if you must know, as you just said- I am in fact very loaded. And it isn’t my wealth alone, remember. It’s ours, that includes you now Susan.” Hariel then told the now wide-eyed girl, while she ignored her elder cousin’s annoyed hissing. Susan then tried to open her mouth to say something against it, but her fiancee simply shook his head at her.
“Just accept it, Suze, you really don’t have a choice in the matter anyways, “ Theodore then whispered in her ear, which then made the girl’s cheeks pinken a bit, which the boy did not notice in the slightest, seeing as he looked around the place.
He then saw a pathway a bit further away from the property leading to-
“And of course we’re located right next to the beach.” He then matter of factly said, which Remus then rolled his eyes at, seeing as he understood quite well what the young man meant with that, seeing as they were surrounded by a lot of wealth now, with or without them ever asking for it. Something the girl in question shared with her fathers before her, which made Remus then fondly look at his pup, who’s grown into quite the young Lady.
Hariel then walked towards the gates of the manor and pricked her finger against door, which made the doors open for her in admittance,
“Alright, I’ve just added you lot to the house, so shall we? And don’t worry about any dust or such, the property has been taken care for of for all these years, as has all of the others, as I’ve been told.” she then asked with a nod towards the house, which they all then smiled at.
“Well you don’t have to ask me again, I’m grabbing the biggest room there is, husband lets go!” Nyphadora then giggled, while she ran towards the house, as though dogs were at her trail, with a grin towards her now amused cousin, who only shook her head with a laugh.
“Shouldn’t that be Hariel’s room then, dear? And do please be careful with our child, Nymphadora, why don’t you let me take him for now-” Remus then said after her, all the while he worriedly opened his arms for the still sleeping child, who hasn’t woken up at all, even with the wild movements of his mother.
But then again, seeing as he was Nymphadora’s child- it was to be expected, like mother like son after all. Even though she was an auror, a rather good one at that- for Merlin’s sake, that woman could sleep through an earthquake!
“That’s fine by me, uncle Moony, you can have it,” Hariel then warmly said to him when he joined her at the door, which he then as quickly turned his head towards her.
At what she just called him, that is.
He’s still not used to hearing that, but it warms his heart every time he hears it coming from his pup. Both from him and his wolf, who howls in pure happiness each time.
“...If you’re sure.” And seeing her nod, he then warmly smiled at her as well,
“Thank you, pup.” he then told her, which made her then shyly smile at him as well, seeing as the both of them had to get used to it. But she enjoyed it as well, by the shine he could see from within her eyes, which he then softened at.
“REMUS! Up here you slowpoke, didn’t you hear me?!” Then then heared Nyphadora call from upstairs, which the both of them chuckled at in astonishment.
“I’m still surprised Teddy’s still sleeping through all of - that. But then again, it’s a blessing isn’t it? But Teddy’s a blessing in itself, so we shouldn’t be surprised,” Hariel then said with a fond chuckle, which Remus nodded to with a proud smile.
“That he is.” He then warmly answered, while he shared a last smile with her, after Nymphadora once more called for him.
“I guess I should go then, lest she lose her voice from all the screaming.” Remus then said with a pained grimace, which Hariel laughed at.
“I doubt that will ever happen, but yeah do hasten to your wife, uncle!”
Remus only shook his head in fondness at her, before he quickly made his way up to the stairs.
“Well then, we’ll make our way to our rooms then as well, I guess.” Theodore then warmly said when he made his way next to her, with Susan in tow, who only smiled at Hariel.
“Don’t let me keep you, Theo, “ She told him, before she winked at Susan,
“And do shout if you’re in need of anything, Suze. You’re officially going to be family soon afterall.” she warmly said towards her dear friend.
“Thanks Hariel, and I definitely will, “ Susan then as warmly answered.
“You lot ready to go?” Hariel then asked at the entrance of the house, while she put together a basket for them all, for the beach.
“Stay still, Nymphadora!” Remus ordered of the fidgeting figure of his wife, who he was applying sunscreen on, while little Teddy, who was now awake giggled at the antics of his parents.
“Our son stayed perfectly still when I smeared it on him, why can’t you, Nymphadora-”
“You know how ticklish I get, Remus!” Nymphadora then exclaimed while she moved her body away for the hundredth time, after he applied a bit of the aforementioned sunscreen on her body. She was beach ready, wearing a yellow bikini top, which she wore with a light brown flowing and soft and airy jackett, which she would wear after Remus is done applying the sunscreen on her, it matched the flowy pants she was wearing at the moment.
Remus was wearing a similar ensemble of white airy pants and a simple tank top, which matched their son’s, who was wearing yellow pants instead, and already had a red floaty around him, which they all cooed at, and of course took a photo of, well his mother did, seeing as she was always camera ready for such moments.
Hariel chuckled at the couple while she made her way to her godson, who was already waving his arms towards her, all the while he screamed in happiness at the sight of her, which she warmly smiled at.
“Here’s our happy, baby Teddy! You excited to play in the beach with auntie Harry?!” She then cooed at the toddler, who she took out of the floaty. Teddy then screeched in answer, which was a yes, which then took the attention of all of the inhabitants of the manor, who then warmly smiled at the sight of the young one as well.
With Nymphadora grabbing her camera by her side to take some pictures of the moment, which Remus then chuckled at.
“You’re going to smear the camera with sunscreen, dear.”
Nyphadora only showed him her tongue in response, all the while she then started shooting the pair in front of them.
“This is going to take an hour again, isn’t it?” Theodore then amusedly asked Remus when he and Susan made their way to him, to watch the sight of the trio in question.
Theodore was wearing a simple light blue shirt and white cotton pants and sandals, with some sunglasses already up on his nose, while Susan wore a matching light blue, flowy dress and a large hat on her head.
“Don’t jinx it, Theodore.” The older man simply huffed, even though he was amused by it as well, and fond, seeing as it was his wife they were talking about.
“I think that’s enough, ‘Dora. Teddy’s starting to get fussy, shall we go now then?” Hariel then asked of the woman in question, who then yelled that she would be taking one more picture and that they’d the go.
The beach wasn’t as overly populated as they thought it would be, which was good, seeing as they could have their pick where to sit, or lounge in some cases.
Looking at the pair of bookworms in front of her, who were secluded underneath some parasols, all the while they lay sprawled on lounging chairs, Hariel only huffed at them in amusement.
“Is there any chance the both of you will set even a foot in the water today?” She then joked, which the pair then simply ignored, already used to her countless of teasing throughout the years.
They were truly perfect for one another.
“Wow how rude, but do enjoy yourselves.” she then said with a laugh, all the while she then turned her attention to her already awaiting godson, who once again raised his arms towards her, to lift him up.
“Water!” He demanded, which she only laughed at, all the while she bounced the excited boy in her hold then with a brow.
“Demanding, are we, young man? But I did promise that we’d go huh.” She then said with a grin, while she then readied herself for a sprint towards the water in front of them, which the boy then cheered at.
They could see the boys parents, who were already in the water, a bit further away from them then. Teddy then pointed towards them with a scream in happiness, which Hariel took as an order to bring him towards them then.
Which she then did, all the while she chuckled at the happy baby in her arms.
Hariel had found a newfound joy in snorkeling throughout the years, well, without ever wearing the gear for it of course, seeing as she could retain he breath under water for a couple of hours now. The Merfolk had gifted it to her, well a vial that is, which contained- in her eyes, just some water, but it was so much more than that she was afterwards told by them.
And a single drop of it would suffice to breathe for up to 5 hours under water.
Looking around with awed wonder, Hariel admired the beauty of the underwater life. Everywhere she looked, she was met with the vibrant colours of the sea in its whole glory, from the amazingly large Coral reefs, which were all so very different from one another, but most especially in colour- to the wondrous animals that swam in her eye-view.
But seeing something then took her attentions away, by the way she could see it make alarmed movements- as though it were stuck. Which Hariel frowned at, and looking closer she could see then what is was.
A bit further away from the farthest coral reef that she could see, there on the ground a turtle laid, and it was struggling with plastic that had somehow gotten stuck around the poor thing.
Hariel then quickly made her way towards the poor thing.
Muggles really. She thought in disdain, seeing as they could be the only ones that dare pollute nature around them.
“Hey, it’s alright, I mean you no harm, I only want to help you. I’m Harry, will you give me permission to get you out of this?” She asked the large sea turtle in front of her, who at first had tried to get away from her in fright, before it then stopped because of her soft tone and movements.
And after a while it then simply nodded to her, and Hariel then as quickly got him out of his binds with a wave, which the turtle watched in curiosity,
“See, I told you that I’d get you out of it.” Hariel then warmly told the turtle, who she then inspected a bit closer and seeing as the turtle was wounded a bit on its flipper, she then waved towards it.
“You’re wounded a bit, can I heal you? It will be just as quick and painless, I promise.” She then kindly told the majestic creature, who’s big, soulful and clearly intelligent eyes were locked upon hers then, as it had been before.
And seeing it nod once more, she then set to the task, which she had to do while being close to the turtle, who luckily did not seem to mind her closeness in the slightest- it liked it in fact, and after she was done with healing it, was it a boy? Or a girl, she wasn’t really certain-
But well, she was then gifted with the turtle softly pushing its nose against her chest in thanks, which she simply smiled at.
“It was my pleasure, I hope you’ll have safe travels from now on, I bid you goodbye then.” She then told the turtle with a nod, before she moved to swim closer to the beach, seeing as she was certain that her family would be worried by now, Remus most especially, and she did not want to sit and hear him say one of his usual spiels of worry- which took an eternity before he would be done. And if he was satisfied with her response that is…
While she swam towards the shore, the turtle that she had helped then spread the word of his newly found hero- most especially of her kindness and beauty, which a certain someone got word of.
