Visitor part 2
"What's wrong Mr. Error?" Reaper asked, tilting her head to the side. Error shook himself. "Nothing... I hope." "Okay!" Reaper smiled. "Mr. Error? What's wrong?" Error shook himself out of his thoughts. "Nothing, kid. Just thinking about a friend of mine..." "What is this friend like?" "She's... chaotic. And a bit of a pain. But she's helpful. And Inky likes her." Error said, not certain how to describe the force that was Chaos. "She's certainly unique. And happens to enjoy Skittles a wee bit too much..." Reaper giggled. "She sounds like a good friend." "She is. Mistral brought her over a few months ago to help us out with something. Inky adores her."
Reaper giggled as the tiny Death started to float upside down. "She sounds like she's a lot of fun to be around." Error smiled. "She can be, but when she goes on a rampage... well. Dumbledore is still trying to fix his things." Reaper started to laugh. Error started to chuckle as well. "The best part is, he wasn't super upset about all the expensive things she broke, or the rare books she took... he was most upset about the fact that she incinerated his lemon drops and the recipe to make them." "Death to the Lemon Drops!" Reaper cheered. "Agreed." Error said, still chuckling at the memory of Dumbledore's tears. Reaper turned herself around so that she was the right way up. "How are we gonna explain me if anyone sees me?"
"A friend of my son's who has a job with odd hours. You're older than you appear thanks to a magical accident. You decided to pop in and stay a while because you have a stalker problem right now." Error said calmly. "Okay! That should be a good enough excuse!" Reaper said happily. "What can I say? I'm good at story telling." Error smirked. Reaper smiled at Error. "Anyways, I better get you set up with a place to sleep..." Error hummed. Reaper nodded her head before she yawned. "You can take Inky's bed if you want, he doesn't use it anywhere near as often as he should." Error told her. "Really? Okay."
He led her to the what Inky called 'the guest room', even though he was supposed to sleep in there. Reaper flopped on the bed, kicking her shoes off, before she dove under the covers, snagging one of the pillows to cuddle. Error chuckled at her behavior. "I'll be out here grading if you need anything." he told her, before closing the door most of the way, leaving a small crack. "Okay, goodnight!" Reaper called out before she closed her eyes and she went to sleep. Error smiled softly before walking over to his pile of essays. He knew Blue was probably going to tease him about adopting another one, but he didn't care. He could barely hear Reaper's soft breathing. He sat down and started grading again: and Granger went over the limit again...
OoOoOoOoOoOo
Death started suddenly, spilling his coffee. Geno stared at him in shock. "What is it?" he asked his husband. "A fucking horecrux..." Death said in a dark, dangerous voice. Geno nodded slowly. He knew enough to know that Death loathed Soul Shards of any type, but horcruxes were enough to send him into a rage. "I'll be back later, hun. Better find out who the idiot that made the damn thing was." Death said."Ok, but stay safe!" Geno said as Death created a portal. Death nodded and walked through, appearing in a stone castle... right next to Error, if those tear marks were anything to go by. Error looked up from his grading when Death appeared. He looked over at Reaper's door worriedly, hoping the noise didn't wake her up.
Reaper slowly woke up when she sensed another Death, she thought that it was Papy, but as she sat up, the memories of the last night came back to her....She was in another Multiverse, and since this Death didn't feel like Papy, there was only one explanation for who this Death was.... She slipped out of the bed and she walked over to the door, opening it slightly so that she could look without leaving the room...
Death sensed movement behind him, along with the feeling of another Death God. He looked behind and saw a partially closed door, with a small face peaking out through the crack. Ignoring Error, who was trying to stop him, he walked up closer to the door. "Hey, why don't you come on out, buddy?" he asked in a soft voice. She looked at the other Death God, before she slowly opened the door a bit more. Death smiled softly at the smaller one. "I'm guessing you're not from around here, huh?" he asked. Error facepalmed. "Of course she isn't, dumbass."
Reaper nodded her head, wishing that she had a hood to hide behind. Death grinned, seeing how small the little one was. "So, what's a kid like you doing here with Mr. Grumps-a-lot?" He asked, ignoring Error's annoyance at the nickname. "Inky found me when he slipped into my Multiverse, and he brought me back with him, I was running away from Life." Death raised a brow. She was running from her Life? That was... odd, to say the least. Normally Life was a good friend of his. "Why were you running from your Life?" "Rune says that I can get away with calling her an delusional idiot." Reaper said. "That, and she was exiled for trying to take the throne from Asgore."
Death facepalmed. Oh great, she had a power-hungry Life. "My Life just chose to stay in her garden... she and Asgore are still together." he told her. "And she seems to think that I should be drinking coffee, making puns, and be a lazy God." Reaper rubbed her arm, which caused her sleeve to move up a bit, revealing a small scar. "So, your Life and Asgore aren't separated, and your Life is nice?" "Yeah, she is. She babysits my kids a lot. Your Life seems to be on the... unstable side." he said, looking over the scar. It took a lot to scar a god, after all. Reaper nodded her head. "Yeah, she really doesn't like Papy and Gaster, and she hits me when I try to tell her that she's wrong about me." Death growled. He looked over at Error and asked, "Mind if I kidnap her for a little bit?" Error shrugged and looked at Reaper. "I don't mind." Reaper's wings fluffed up behind her. Death grinned and he scooped up the smaller god in his arms in one quick move, opening a portal to his Life's garden. "Be back soon!" He called to Error, who just grunted and waved them off. Reaper giggled and she waved at Error. "See ya soon, kiddo." Error said. "Bye bye!" Reaper told Error.
Death walked through into the garden, whistling loudly. "Hey Life, I've got a guest!" he said, walking towards the center of the garden. Reaper pulled her hood over her skull. The tall, goat-like goddess appeared from behind a tree, a kind smile on her face. "Hello Reaper. What brings you here?" she asked, seeing her friend. She saw that Death was holding a smaller person in his arms, though she couldn't see who it was. Death shook his head. "Call me Death for now, Life. This is another version of me from a different Multiverse."
Reaper looked at this Life, she didn't feel any trace of the unsettling aura that her Life had, it had been replaced by this rather comforting aura that she could feel. "H---Hi..." She mumbled. Life clapped her hands over her mouth to prevent herself from cooing over the small Reaper. She was ADORABLE! "I'm Reaper...." the fluffy one mumbled. Life smiled and said, "I am Life. How are you doing?" She was trying desperately not to just snatch the fluffy skeleton from her friends arms. "I'm okay..." Reaper slowly pushed her hood back so that she could get a better look at this Life, revealing her face, her skull was softer and smoother than Death's, and Life could see just how young this Death Goddess was. Life gave in and she snatched this little death god out of her Death's arms, making him squawk in surprise. "You. Are. ADORABLE!"
Reaper squeaked in surprise, she was expecting to be hit, but instead, this Life was cooing over her? Life had noticed how Reaper had flinched when she grabbed her, and she could feel old injuries that had something that felt like her magic on them. What in heaven's name had happened to this little god? "You're not going to hit me?" Reaper asked. Life shook her head quickly. "Nonono, why in heaven's name would I do that?" she said quickly. "My Life hits me, especially when I try to tell her that I'm the Death of my Multiverse, she has this image of me that I don't match, and she tries to make me match that." Reaper messed with the sleeves of her robe. "The first ever hit that she gave me, bruised my arm and slightly cracked one of my arm bones..."
Life froze. HOW could that version of herself actually HURT such an adorable Reaper! All because she didn't match the image that version of herself had! She looked down at the small Reaper. "You can call me Vita instead of Life if you want." "Okay, thank you Miss Vita." Reaper said gratefully. Life smiled happily and asked "Do you want anything? Ooh, I know!" Vita quickly plucked a flower that she had Death help her grow. It was one of the only things that didn't die when touched by the death god. Reaper looked at the flower. "Won't that die if I touch it?" She asked Vita. Vita giggled. "Nope! I had Death help me grow it after I noticed how upset he got that he couldn't touch anything here."
"I integrated his magic into it, so it actually feeds off of death magic." she explained. Reaper looked at the flower again, before she reached out and she took it. The flower started glowing a blueish color in response to Reaper's magic. Reaper smiled, and Vita and Death could see the faint images of Stars in her eyesockets. Death smiled softly, seeing the happiness in his counterparts eyes. Reaper was smiling, she was so happy, she stretched out her wings since they were starting to feel a bit cramped, and Vita could see how fluffy they were. Vita started to pet Reaper's wings slowly, remembering that the wings were actually quite sensitive. Reaper started to purr from the petting.
Vita covered her mouth to hide the giggles. She looked at Death and smirked, now knowing why he didn't let her touch his wings. Death just smirked and let out his own wings, coming over to gently pulled Reaper out of Vita's arms. "I was going to take her to see Geno next." He explained to the sad looking Vita. Reaper was looking in awe at Reaper's wings, her wings were going to be as big as his one day?! "Who's Geno?" Reaper asked, carefully putting the flower in her item space, she didn't want to lose it.
Death smiled at Reaper. "My husband. Word to the wise kiddo, when you find your Geno, don't let him go. Doesn't have to be a romantic relationship or anything. He's definitely worth holding on to." "Geno is that special?" Reaper asked. He smiled as he opened a portal to his home. "Yeah, he is." Geno looked up as the portal opened and saw his husband come through with a smaller version of himself. A smaller version of himself that looked beyond adorable, from what he could see. "Who's this?" he asked.Reaper looked at Geno, and she tilted her head to the side. She knew that she didn't 'do' romantic relationships, but there was something about Geno that just seemed to call to her....
Geno looked down at the small fluffy death god. "I'm guessing you're from a different Multiverse, huh?" he asked her. "Yep!" Reaper smiled. "I'm Reaper." Geno smiled and asked, "Do you want something to eat? Or..." Before he could say anything else, a door slammed and kids voices could be heard. Reaper tilted her head when she heard the kids voices. "PAPA'S BACK!" Was what all three of the kids yelled, leaping on to Death, giggling. Death fell down fairly gracefully, letting the kids crawl over him. Reaper giggled.
One of the kids, the smallest, came stumbling over to Geno. "What is it, Shin?" Geno asked. Shin just stared at Reaper curiously, cocking her head to the side. Reaper tilted her head to the side again. Shin grinned suddenly and held her hands out. "Hug!" Reaper smiled and she hugged Shin. The other two kids had heard Shin's demand and saw the new person hugging their little sister. The two boys smirked and ran over. "HUG PILE!" Reaper giggled, and she used her wings to hug the boys. She liked hugs.
Death chuckled and took out his phone, taking a picture of the hug pile. It was too cute for words. Geno chuckled and walked away for a few moments, he had to go get something. Reaper nuzzled Shin. Then Shin said something that made Death freeze. "Sissy?" The boys smirked. "Is she, Dad?" The tallest one asked. Death gulped. Goth was scary good at puppy eyes... Raven nudged Shin and pointed to Goth, so she copied her brother. Death groaned and pointed to Reaper. "Up to her!" "Up to me?" Reaper asked.
The three kids turned to her. "Sissy?" Shin asked again, giving Reaper an adorable pout. Reaper gave Shin an adorable pout of her own. Goth and Raven got in on it, the three kids pouting at Reaper. Then Goth giggled and tackled Reaper. "One of us! One of us!" He chanted. Shin and Raven joined in, tackling Reaper with tickles. Reaper started to laugh. "Okay, but I'll have to leave eventually." Shin pouted and asked, "Why?" Geno came back then and heard his daughter's question. "Because she has the same job as Papa, kiddo." he explained gently. Reaper pointed at Death, before she pointed at herself, spreading her wings out, and she nodded her head, agreeing with Geno.
Unfortunately, the action of spreading her wings drew Shin's attention to them, and she gasped in astonishment. "Fluffy..." Shin started to pet the wings happily. Reaper started to purr again. Goth and Raven grinned before joining Shin in petting Reaper's wings happily. Reaper was purring like a cat. Death was recording this, but he sadly forgot that his wings were still out, so he was surprised when Geno started to pet them with a sly smirk. "Hey kids, your Papa wants you to pet his wings!" Reaper giggled, clapping her hands. Goth cheered and Shin cheered. Raven yelled, "Get Papa!" And the kids ran over to Death, Shin dragging Reaper over while giggling. Reaper let Shin drag her over to Death, and she was smiling. This was one of the best days in her life.
The kids started petting their father's wings, causing him to purr loudly, though he was trying to stop. Sadly, he had five people petting his wings, so he was kinda stuck. Reaper was laughing as she pet her Counterpart's wings. Death couldn't stop purring, though he was trying to growl at his laughing husband. This was not fair! Reaper poked Death. This made it worse, as a little know fact about Death was that he was ticklish... and Reaper had just poked him in a spot that made him laugh. The kids stopped and stared at their Papa. He was ticklish?!
Reaper grinned, before she looked at the kids. "Tickle Attack!" The kids cheered and started tickling, Death laughing underneath them. Geno was off to the side, laughing. He knew that this was going to happen one day. Reaper was laughing as she tickled Death, showing all of the kids his ticklish spots, she knew where they were because they were her ticklish spots too. "No - stop, kids please!" Death begged. The kids did as asked, laughing and giggling themselves. "Okay!" Reaper grinned. Shin was still laughing as she stumbled over to Reaper, falling in to her lap. She curled up there, staring up at Reaper happily. Reaper looked down at Shin, before she smiled.
Death's phone chimed and he looked down, sighing at the text. "Hey kids, we've gotta go." He told the kids, them saying "Aaww" unhappily. Reaper sadly smiled at them as she carefully gave Shin to Goth, before she stood up. Death waved her over to him, opening up a portal back to Hogwarts. Reaper walked over to him. Walking through, the two found themselves in a dark forest, with the castle in sight. "I wanted to be careful, just in case. Besides, I haven't been to this place before." Death explained to Reaper. "I can understand that." she said.
As they walked, a sort of whinny sound could be heard behind them. Death turned around slowly, not knowing what the hell would want to come close. Reaper turned around as well. There was about 5 skeletal looking horses standing there, with large, leathery wings. They were snorting and stomping, before one came closer and bumper Reapers hand with its nose. Reaper was expecting the horse to die, but it didn't... And she slowly placed her hand on it's nose. That seemed to be the cue for the other horse creatures to come up to the two death gods, all wanting attention from them. Reaper reached out with her other hand to pat another horse.
Death was petting the horses as well, a little confused. But well, who was he to deny cuddles? Death was... a bit of a cuddle lover... Reaper was enjoying the chance to pet an animal without it dying on her. "They're Death Horses!" Reaper exclaimed. Death grinned happily. "I am so taking one of these back with me..." Reaper giggled. "Yeah, I think that the Kids would love that." "Oh yeah... Geno might not be too happy, though." He said with a wince at his husband's reaction. Reaper was trying to climb onto one of the horses. Death laughed and picked her up, settling her carefully on the horse's back. The horse snorted and stomped a little. Reaper giggled and she hugged the horse.
The horse in question was a very mischievous one, so it suddenly broke into a gallop, before flapping its huge wings and taking to the air, Reaper still on it's back. Reaper squealed, before she started to laugh from the joy and the excitement that she was feeling. Death panicked at first, before hearing Reaper's laughter. He settled down again, watching from the ground. "Wheeeeee!" Death smiled, hearing that. It sounded like his little counterpart was having fun. Reaper was having fun.
Death saw Error walk over. When the Destroyer came close enough, he asked, "What are you doing out here?" "I saw Reaper from the window." Error replied. Reaper's giggles and laughter could be heard by both of them. "So, why'd you have me bring her over in such a hurry?" Death asked. "I have some suspicions about something, I wanted to check her code myself first, though." Error replied. "Mr. Error?" The horse had landed on the ground and Reaper was looking at Error. "What's wrong?" "Hey, kiddo. I just wanted to check something is all." he told her. "Okay!" Reaper climbed off of the horse. Error smiled softly at Reaper as she stood in front of him. He opened up her codes and started looking. After a few minutes, he saw something that made him freeze.
"What's wrong Mr. Error?" Reaper asked. "Uh..." Error said, not sure what to tell her. "Nothing is wrong per se, but... I need to call a friend of mine." "Okay!" Reaper said happily. Error pulled out his phone and walked away a little distance, talking inaudibly with the person on the other side. "Who is he talking to?" Reaper asked.
Death shrugged and tried to listen in. "Someone named Misty. I think, anyways." "What did he see in my codes that made him freeze like that?" Reaper asked him. "I don't know. I can't hear him very well, he's to far away." Death replied. Reaper shrugged her shoulders, but something felt wrong...
"You ok there, kiddo?" Death asked her. "Something's wrong, I mean, we shouldn't be able to feel sick, right?" she asked quietly. Death looked at Reaper in alarm. "No, we shouldn't..." "I think that he found something that was meant to be hidden..." she muttered. "Kid, you're looking a little green." Death said, worried. He tried to get Error's attention quickly. "I don't feel so good..." she said, swaying. "Error!" Death yelled, rushing forward to steady Reaper. Error came running. "What happened?"
"I don't feel so good." Reaper looked like she was about to be sick. "I think that you found something that someone wanted to stay a secret." "Shit." Error said. "We might have to send her back to her Multiverse..." "What did you find?" Reaper asked. Error looked at her. "Admin codes... specifically, codes that belong to a friend of mine. I just called a mutual friend of ours.... she's searching for Chaos." "Chaos, as in the one who destroyed the office?" Reaper asked.
"Yep, the very same." Error replied. "How could have this happened? Why? How?" she asked him. "I have an idea, but I don't like it. All the same, from the looks of it you're only going to get worse the longer you're here." Error said. "Then, I have to go back home." Reaper sighed. Error nodded unhappily. Then he perked up, thinking of something. He pulled out a mirror. "Two way, just say my name and we can talk." Error told her. Reaper carefully took the mirror, she had a very determined look on her face. Error picked up Reaper, quickly walking her through the castle, back to the room where she and Inky first popped up back at Hogwarts.
"Here's the archway..." he said, setting her down. The glow was much dimmer than before, as if it was dying. "It's closing." Reaper said, her voice changed. Reaper nodded her head. "Thank you Error, but don't worry about me, I'll be fine. If they can save Fire, they can save me as well." Error nodded, realizing that this was Chaos now. "Misty knows, she's telling the other's about the Soul split." He told her. "I have a feeling that this Fate is going to force me under the moment that I go back to Reapertale. I can feel her Magic at work, the call will be delayed. It will take eons on my end...." Chaos told him. Error winced in dismay. "Unfortunately, the codes are too different here, so I can't manipulate them to keep this Life away from you..." "I know, but thank you for trying." she said softly.
Error sighed. "I'll bring Inky to see you as soon as you get saved.""I would like that." She said with a smile. Error smiled sadly and stood up. "See you later then, Chaos.""Yeah." Reaper pulled her hood up again. "I'll see you around Mr. Error!" "See ya..." he whispered, then watched her walk through. The light flickered and died the moment she vanished.
Reaper stepped out on the other side of the portal. "I wonder why Mr. Error was so worried when he looked at my coding?" She asked herself, but why did she feel like she had forgotten somethings about her adventure.... Maybe it was a side effect of travelling between Multiverses?
But still, she wouldn't wait for the days to come....
