Error talking

Thinking/X talking/Deity

Error yawned widely as he sat at the Head Table, with Blue sitting next to him, looking as energetic as ever. Blue smirked at his friend's sleepiness even as he loaded up his plate with eggs, bacon and toast. He poured Error a cup of coffee, knowing that with how tired Error was, he was more likely to pour it on himself then in the cup. He waved at Inky who was eagerly chatting with a busty redhead teenager. Inky waved up at Blue, before the girl seemed to ask him something. He turned away and went back to his conversation while grabbing some fruit.

Blue pouted and looked over at Error again, noticing that he seemed a little more awake now. "It looks as if the zombie has finally joined us!" he joked, putting some toast and eggs on Error's plate. Error just grunted and started eating slowly, still too tired to talk. Flitwick and Sprout grinned at the sight of Error as they sat down, eagerly putting food on their plates. "Is he like this every morning?" Sprout asked, stirring her porridge. "Yes, until he has at least two cups of coffee in him. Or hot chocolate, but he prefers coffee in the mornings." Blue replied, watching Error finish eating and pour his second cup, cradling it to himself. Blue held back his snickers at Error's behavior.

After breakfast was finished, Blue and Error headed to their classroom, passing Inky's group of first years along the way. Inky was chattering with Tuckett, something about painting. They smiled at the kids as they headed to the stairs, Error waving at Inky. Inky grinned brightly and waved back, before noticing that he had fallen behind the others and ran to catch up. Chuckling, Error climbed up the stairs to the third floor, where the DADA classroom was. It didn't take them long to set up for their first class: the third year Hufflepuff-Ravenclaw class. About ten minutes later, students started to file in quietly. Ravenclaws sat on one side, while Hufflepuffs sat on the other, making Error frown and sigh.

"Ok, first of all, I don't like the fact that you all have separated yourselves. So what I'm going to do is have half of you write your names down, and place them in this jar. Then after I shake the jar, the other half will come up and pull out a slip. The name you pull out will be your seatmate. This will be done every day." Error said, causing chattering. Blue beckoned the Ravenclaw half forward and had them enter their names into the jar, then shook it. He walked over to the Hufflepuffs and held it out for everyone to take a name. After everyone was done rearranging seats, Error nodded in satisfaction. The two Houses were well and truly mixed up.

"Those who have read ahead, please raise your hands. I will call on you and ask how far you read ahead, so I can properly test you." Error ordered. Every Ravenclaw and half the Hufflepuffs raised their hands quickly, causing Blue to chuckle. After setting up some paper tests for the ones who read ahead, Error and Blue went over the first chapter of the book with the students who hadn't read ahead. The lesson passed quickly, and Error set the homework as reading, and told his students that if they could find an interesting fact about the things they were reading about (boggarts), then there would be extra points. The class left excitedly talking, already loving the new professor.

Error and Blue quickly cleared the room and moved all the desks out of the way, getting ready for the sixth year Gryffindor-Slytherin class. Error had something... special... planned for the sixth and seventh years... though something told him that the students sure wouldn't appreciate the surprise. It's a good thing he knew that locking spell!
