Hi, lovelies!I’ve been so excited to start writing this story, because I personally love pirate/royal AU, so ahhhAlso, I need to ramble a bit, so sorry not sorry, but I really want to be able to write one of those long-ass fanfictions with hundreds of thousands of words. However, again, I’m 15, and English is not my first language… I’m also incredibly bad at finishing my work, so yeahBut!Back in December I wrote a fanfiction that ended up being 25.000 words long, and to be honest, I didn't know I could do that. Because of that (thanks to you guys who actually read it), I realised that if I just published a first chapter or something, I would feel obliged (in a good way, though) to finish my shit, so here we are.I would like to clarify that this fic is a test – a test to myself to see if I can finish a longer project and maybe, possibly, one day, write one of those long-ass fics that’ll leave you in ruins or simply prove to myself that I can become an author and not just a fanfic writer. So, while I really want to go overboard and make a crazy plot in this fic, I have decided to tone it down a bit.I still think it’s going to be very long, though (if i finish it…)Have faith in me y'all.About when I will update… yeah, I don’t have a schedule. I really don’t want to stress myself more than necessary since I am a very busy person in general. I also think that the mere fact that someone might be waiting for an update is going to motivate me. So, if you happen to like this fic, just look out for updates; there’ll most likely be a couple of weeks between each chapter. I’ll also try to stick to posting on the weekends, mostly Sunday.Also, don’t judge me, but this has been looked through for grammar mistakes by an AI. So if there’s anything, just tell me and I’ll take a look at it. I’m still the author - the sentences, the plot, all of it has been written and thought through by me.
