Calamites & Catastrophes
Walking over to Mirio first, Tokoyami began to sweat due to his never talking to him before, however, it seemed Uraraka has...
"Oh my gosh! Hey Mirio!~ Just the guy I wanted to see! How are you!" She called out. Uraraka pranced over to the part of the couch where he was sitting, and plopped down next to him.
"Hey Ochako... Uh.. Whats up?" Mirio questioned as he unplugged his headphones from his phone and sat up to greet her.
"WELL!! I'm sooo glad you asked. You know my great friend Tokoyami right? We're all in the same class!" She dragged Tokoyami over by the shoulder and made him sit inbetween the two.
"Oh.. Yeah.. I guess. Hey Fumikage..Not REALLY Ochako... what's the big idea about this???" Mirio whispered. Tokoyami could hear him of course, he was sitting directly next to him. Uraraka glared at him and ignored his question.
"Well HE has something to ask you of course! Be NICE to him! What's the matter with you today?" Uraraka whispered yelled at him. Tokoyami also heard that.
"My apologies. Hi there Tokoyami! I belive we've met. Your friends with Sero and Tamaki, correct?" Mirio sat up straight and corrected his posture and put out his hand for Tokoyami to shake it.
"Oh, hi. Yeah we've met. I'm closer with Sero than with Tamaki, but yeah I know them." Tokoyami shook his hand before he continued, "I'm sure your aware that I'm a bird... You were top of the class last semester, right?"
"I still am, Fumikage."
"Right... aahaa... Of course.. Well, uh, then I'm sure you're familiar with the fact that I have to migrate... Like birds do then?"
"Yes. Tokoyami, wait... Do you mind if I call you Tokoyami?"
"Uh sure, it's my name after all... Anyway. I'm flying to South Africa for the winter, on November first actually, and I'm trying to find people to fly with... Do you think you'd go with me?" He finally spit out. Mirio put his hand up to his chin and rubbed it for a second, pondering the question.
"Well, Tokoyami, I'd love to... But I have all this hero training to do! If I want to become the top hero eventually, then I have to stay on that grind am I right?" Miro raised his hand up for a high five. Tokoyami awkwardly reciprocated. "Sorry though, of course I'd love too any OTHER time, but y'know how it is in the hero biz! But why don't you ask Aoyama or Monoma? I WAS keeping track of their ping-pong score.. But none of them got any points so I gave up."
"HEY! We're getting points now smartass!" Monoma yelled back at Mirio, who just raised an eyebrow at them. He patted Tokoyami on his back before he walked over to the ping-pong table with Uraraka.
"Good luck though man! Have fun in South Africa!" Mirio then returned to where he was sitting before, and plugged his headphones back in. (He was listening to All-mights hero podcast.)
Tokoyami leaned against the backside of the couch and looked at Uraraka with a hopeless look.
"Look, I know we haven't had much luck lately, but we're not leaving the dorms without hope! Lets keep asking!" She grabbed Toko by his wrist again, and pulled him into Aoyama, promptly shoving herself into the blonde.
"Would you mind pauper?!" He shouted at her. "What's the big idea, can't you see we are in the middle of an INTESNE table tennis match? ..souris brune stupide et cassée.." Aoyama muttered to himself, he flicked his long hair back into place and Uraraka simply crossed her arms at him before opening her mouth to begin yelling.
"Well listen HERE You FA-" She was stopped by Tokoyami covering her mouth and dragging her over to the other side of the table.
"Not this guy Uraraka... I don't want him coming anyway... He's not worth it."
"WELL YOUR LUCKY TOKOYAMI STOPPED ME YOU ANNOYING TWINK!" She yelled at him once more and Tokoyami just slapped his hand onto his forehead.
"Oh puh-lease honey! Guys WISH I was gay! Hmph!" He stuck his nose up at her.
"Well, wish granted I guess..." Monoma said under his breathe, before hitting the ball in Aoyama's eye.
"OW! You... You bitch!" Responded Aoyama, covering his eye. Monoma covered his mouth to laugh, while Uraraka laughed at the top of her lungs. Tokoyami kept a straight face.
"Hi Uraraka. Who's this with you?" Monoma asked.
"Hey Neito! this is Tokoyami, hes from class 1-A with me!" She smiled. Monomas expression turned colder and he looked Tokoyami up-and-down.
"Well, whatever! I can forgive that! Whats up man?" He dabbed Tokoyami up and pulled him into himself before patting him on the back to let go.
"Hey Monoma, I heard about you on yesterdays morning announcements, you broke a record I heard? Thats pretty sick." Monoma gained a smug look on his face.
"Well YEAH! Of course it's impressive! I'm pretty impressive overall anyway! What do you need help with? If you're from class 1-A then I'm guessing you need help with something?" Monoma crossed his arms and smirked at Tok, "Well, lay it on me!"
"No, I wouldn't say help? But more of a favor." Tokoyami took a deep breathe before speaking again. "I'm a bird. If that wasn't obvious... And I'm migrating to South Africa for the colder season. I'm trying to find people to come with me, would you come?"
Monoma actually thought about that for a second.
"NAHHH! A vacation sounds fun, but I can't let class 1-B get left behind! Haha! But its smart that you're finding people to go with you, just incase you get hurt, you need someone to report for you! I can applaude your efforts Tokoyami." He spun the ping-pong paddle in his hand.
"That's fine man, I expected that anyway."
"Right. By the way, do any of you wanna play a few rounds with me? It seems like Aoyama is out."
"I'll play with you Neito! Tokoyami why don't you head up to Mina's dorm, I think Tamaki's there anyway, and I'll meet you up?" She tilted her head up at Tokoyami.
"Sure Ochako, I'll see you in a few."
"Kay, bye Tokooo!~" She called out.
Tokoyami headed for the stairs while Uraraka grabbed the second paddle....
