Forgives & Forgets
Tokoyami could hear the sound of Uraraka's paddle hitting the ball as he walked towards the stairs.
When he reached the stairs, he took a deep sigh. He knew that the dorms would be his last chance he would have to ask his peers to fly with him. Of course, if he wanted to, there would be plenty of people at Mina's party to ask, but he wanted people he knew to come with him. He didn't want some class 1-B asshole to fly, he wanted someone close to him. Any anyways, would he even want to go to the party if he didn't find someone to fly with him? He shook his head at the thought. He WOULD find someone to fly with. He just had to! He climbed up the flight of stairs and was met with a sign that had two arrows pointing either way, the left arrow had bold letters that said FEMALE WING, and the right arrow said MALE WING. Mirio had mentioned that Tamaki would be there with Mina, but he was unsure if that meant that the two of them were in Minas dorm, or Tamaki's.
Uraraka said she would meet me in Mina's dorm.... so probably there....
Tokoyami turned down to the left hall and walked down the corridors till he reached dorm number 404, Mina's dorm. He could hear people inside, but when he knocked the room went silent and there was no answer.
"Uhh... Mina? Hello? Are you... there? Um, Ochako said you wanted to talk to me... right?"
The door flung open and Mina stood there above Tokoyami, with a smile on her face. Her hair was down and messy, and she wore an off-the-shoulder graphic tee shirt with Pj shorts and chunky sleep slippers. She leaned against the door frame, standing above Tokoyami. Mina inspected the hallway before pulling him in her room.
"OMG! Yeah totally! Come in Toko!~" She cheered out. He could feel her long nails on his back as she shoved him down on her desk chair. Mina plopped down on her bed in a criss-crossed manner, and beside her on her bed was Tamaki. And down on her bean bag chair, was Todoroki.
Uraraka didn't mention him???? I've never even spoken to this guy before! God.. How long does a table tennis match take again?
"So sorry we didn't answer! We thought you were Iida again... He went in my room earlier and yelled at us for vaping... He said he'd report us, but I doubt it. I don't even know why he came in here in the first place!" Mina pouted. Tokoyami figured out what she meant when she pulled out a pink lemonade Geek Bar and ghosted it. He looked down at Todoroki and saw he had one as well, he couldn't figure out what flavor, but he could tell it was white.
"It's Miami mint, by the way. I could tell you were looking." Tokoyami looked down at Todoroki and shook his head violently.
"No, no! I wasn't judging or anything... I don't care if you do it..." Toko looked away out of embarrassment.
"Haha. Do you want a hit Tokoyami?"
"Uhm.. No- I- I don't do that stuff... I need a good chest to be able to make it to South Afri-"
"HAHA!" Todoroki snickered. "I'm messing with you! I'm about to hit zero anyways, I'm not letting anyone get a hit." Tokoyami awkwardly laughed back in response.
"Dude, why do you care if it hits zero? You know you'll just ask Bakugo for another one anyway." Tamaki snorted at Todoroki.
"No Tamaki! Bakugo's being a little bitch lately! I'm his fav customer, and he USUALLY gives them to me half price... But he's had a stick up his tight little ass lately, and is now UPCHARGING ME!!!" Mina fell backwards on her bed and puffed out loud.
"Yeah, he's been a dick lately, he won't even sell to me anymore." Todoroki added.
"Do you think that's because of his fight with Mirio? Didn't he get put on probation?" Tokoyami finally said. The three of them look at each other in realization before Mina called out to him.
"Yeah! You're right Toko! That could be why he isn't selling,"
"They had a fight?" Todoroki asked before taking another hit.
"Yeah! At my last party, before the cops came Mirio made some sort of comment about how Bakugo is always drinking, and maybe thats why he isn't as strong as he used to be, and all of a sudden... Bakugo came charging at him and started swinging! It was nuts!"
"Oh! Right! Your party Mina! That's what Ochako said you wanted to talk to me about... Look I-"
"YESS! MY COSTUME PARTY!" Mina shouted out eagerly. "It's gonna be on Halloween! The day before you leave by the way! I'd love for you to comee~! I even have an idea for your costume!" She jumped up and grabbed his hands to shake him out of excitement.
"But that's the thing Mina... You see... I'd love to go... But I don't know if I would want to go if I can't find a partner who will fly with me..." Tokoyami replied. Tamaki looked up at him.
"If you're going to South Africa.. I have some family there... I'm sure they could make you more comfortable if you're afraid of being there alone." Tamaki said. His words cheered Toko up a bit, but enough for him to agree.
"Okay, that could work.. I'll go Mina. If it makes you happy."
"OH MY GOSHHH! YES! Ahh! It totally does!" But before Mina could finish her thought, a short brunette girl stumbled in her dorm.
"OMG! I kicked Monoma's ass at table tenis! By the way.. Did someone say party?" Uraraka called.
The three of them looked at each other and laughed before Uraraka sat down on the floor next to Mina's bed...
