Parties & Problems
Tokoyami was dragged shortly behind Uraraka as she skipped along to the dorm building entrance.
"Ochako slow down! Why are your pulling me so fast? I wouldn't really say I'm in a rush.. I don't think I'm flying out 'til the 1st..." Tokoyami crouched over to catch his breathe and huffed.
"What do you mean? November first is only like a week away.. I wouldn't really say that you have all the time in the world! I'm simply just helping!" Uraraka too stopped in her tracks to wait for Tokoyami. He stood up and looked back up at her and crossed his arms with disbelief.
"Are you sure that's what you're ACTUALLY doing? You seem to enthusiastic to help me when just 45 minutes ago you were just telling me that I could do it myself, and you believed in me? Have you had a change in mind? You NOW feel like coming along with me?" Uraraka backed off and averted her gaze from him.
"Yo-You called me Ochako earlier! You haven't called me that in a long time! A few Months right? And you called me that this morning as well!" She laughed nervously.
"You didn't answer my question Ochako.."
"With my charm surely I could help you get someone to fly with! Right?" She still didn't make eye contact.
"Right. But we don't have to rush anyway. We could continue this at anytime this week, November first is just my deadline. Again, why are you so excited to help me with this? You know I can do this myself."
"W-Well yeah.. But I don't want you to have all this pressure on you! I cannn help! Now, let's go!" Uraraka tried grabbing Tokoyami's hand again and pulling him along once more, but instead he caught her wrist and pulled her back in place.
"I'm not going along with you until you tell me what you're planning..." Tokoyami told her firmly. Uraraka shifted and fidgeted nervously in place before finally giving up and looking back at Tokoyami, and with a sigh, she responded.
"Well, you know how Mina is throwing that costume party on Halloween? Well, when we go to her dorm she was going to invite you.. And I was like.. Really excited for you to go and to plan a costume and stuff... But I also wanted to make sure you had somone to migrate with before hand so you were in a good mood to say yes..." She giggled nervously and Tokoyami finally let go of her wrist.
"So you only wanted to help me so I would say yes to a party invite? A party invite from MINA? Her parties are insane... The last one she threw it got shut down by the police because of underage drinking... and Bakugo wasn't helping because he was low-key high as hell hitting some random Geek Bar in the front yard... Next to Denki who was recording Kirishima beating the shit out of Monoma. I got sent like all angles of that fight. They didn't even have beef? Literally no way I would go to that party anyway..."
"But!!! She said she would try to keep it tame this time!.... So you wouldn't go EVEN if you had a flock to migrate with?" Ochako asked. Tokoyami thought about that for a minute.
"I guess IF... I had a flock.. I would CONSIDER going to this party. But we would need to solve the problem of me finding a mate to migrate with first." He shot Uraraka a softer look. "Also I'm 99% sure if I went, and Bakugo was there... I would be the one getting recorded.." He muttered.
"Wait, what? What do you mean by that?"
"I mean I'm sure if he got intoxicated again.. or probably sober even... He would beat the shit out of me.."
"WHAT? Why would he do that Toko! I didn't even know you guys had beef!" Uraraka tried to pretend to look worried or shocked... But really it seemed like she was more excited or interested in his drama.
"He was moving funny so I hit him in the nose... Or more or less Right-hooked him in the face and GAVE him a bloody nose... Now I think he wants that fade.."
"NO WAY! You actually managed to land a punch on him? And he didn't use his quirk on you? Wowwww~! Nice job Toko!" Uraraka lightly punched him in the shoulder.
"Thank you... I guess? But shouldn't we get moving now?"
"Oh right!" She looked over at the dorm room entrance doors and pushed them open. Tokoyami and Uraraka were greeted by their first 3 victims.. Mirio, Aoyama, and Monoma. The three were hanging out in the common room, Monoma and Aoyama were playing ping-pong, and Mirio was sitting on the couch on his phone.
Tokoyami and Uraraka gave eachother a nod before entering the buliding and heading over to Mirio first...
