I don't mind if I loose any blood on my way to salvation
Summary
James Potter and his newfound friends try to end the on-going war between the kingdoms of Hogwarts while stuck on a ship on the ocean. On his way, he meets a mean Prince, that he finds quite endearing. With the help of his friends, James wants to bring the people the justice that his father never could.Or:James runs away from his kingdom, meets the marauders, falls in love with his best friends brother, becomes a pirate, all while trying to survive and end a generation long war.Disclaimer: firstly, I hope that summary was OK. Secondly, English isn't my first language and I wrote this fic purely out of fun so: don't like it, don't read it. I wrote this when I was really into marauders pirate AU's so yeah..
Note
Sooo. Thanks for giving this little fic a chance. As I've already mentioned, English isn't my first language so there will definitely be some errors in this fic.The first few chapters will just be the first meetings of all the characters.. Yeah. I hope you enjoy :) if not.. ehh sorry.

"What now?", Mary asked impatiently. "Now, dear Mary, we will plunder the rich.," James said with a smirk on his lips. James came to the conclusion that if he wanted to change things, especially the suffering and poverty, he needed money and allies.

He wasn't a fan of stealing, but if he took the money from the rich and gave it to the poor, maybe it would justify his actions. He couldn't bear the thought of all these people, starving, being mistreated by the crown.

Furthermore, he wondered if his own people were suffering as much as Sirius' people did. He hoped not.

When it came to allies, he had just found the perfect mix, even though his crew could be bigger. He had Sirius who was his best friend as he didn't have many friends anyway, but he was also very brave. Then there was Mary, who was a fantastic cook as well as Doctor. Finally, there was Lily. She was kind and very committed to their goal, as she grew up poor herself.

Even though James couldn't steer a ship yet, he was elected to be the captain since the others saw 'leadership potential' in him. He was honored and hoped to meet their expectations.

"James, our next stop is the kingdom of Mckinnon. I know you are technically allies, so are you sure you want to rob them?", Sirius asked in a doubtful voice. The four of them were standing around a table while looking at the map Sirius had brought. "I'm sure. They don't need their money, but the people do. It's not like we're taking anything they needed.", James mocked.

"So… we won't get into the castle without being seen and probably be killed. We will go to marketplace in the evening when there are fewer people.," James said, pointing to the place on the map. "Then Lily will distract the guard in front of the tent.", James looked up at Lily. His eyes flew over to Mary, "Then Mary and I will enter from the back of the tent. Sirius will look out for any uninvited guests", he smirked. "Mary and I go in and take out the person who's protecting the money. I really hope it won't be more than one guy", James frowned. "Finally, we will take the money with us and make our way back to the ship.", James finished.

"Okay, nice plan, mister captain," Sirius said mockingly while doing a fake bow, "and then what? Are we just going to be pirates? I don't have a problem with that, but… Well, the girls certainly do.," Sirius commented while looking at Lily and Mary.

"Yeah, James, you know, I didn't come with you to just take money out of spite.," Lily said in a mocking voice.

"Okay, okay, Jesus, calm down. We will take the money, split it into five parts and spread it amongst the people in the five kingdoms, alright?", James said exasperatedly, covering his face whilst a great sigh escaped his throat.

"And how do you think that'll work?", Mary asked, finally engaging in the conversation.
"Because I really can't think of any scenario where we can do this without being captured whatsoever.," she said seriously.

"No, no we can do that, we just go at nightfall and place bags of money in front of people doors.", James was full of confidence.

"Okay Robin Hood, but when we are captured, because we definitely will be, it's on you.," Lily said dryly, looking in the distance over the ocean.

"Okay, whoa. You signed up for that too, so IF anything happens, it's on all of us." Sirius snapped.

"Okay."

"Okay?"

"Yes, I really don't have anything to lose. But one little reminder, James, your parent are searching for you. Just as your parents, Sirius." Lily said now vaguely concerned.

"Yeah… but we will mask ourselves, and we will be very careful during the day, so that shouldn't be a problem.", James responded.

"If you say so." Mary commented, all eyes turning to her.

Regulus awoke to a pounding head, sitting up on his bed. He didn't know how he got there and tried to remember why his head was hurting. His hand wandered to the side of his head; just as he touched the wound, he inhaled sharply. Regulus let his hand fall back to his side, as he was looking around in his room. There was a letter on the table which hadn't been there before.

He got up, even though his head was killing him, and read the letter.

You get your ring back, when we shall meet again, my prince
~JP

His gaze fell to his right hand. That bastard. He took one of his beloved rings. "I'll kill you…", he muttered under his breath.
He hoped that their next meeting would come early so that he could personally unalive that little shit. Well, at least that was one reason.

Sirius.

Oh shit.

Sirius was with Potter.

Now he'll definitely kill him.

Remus was sitting in a corner of his tent, thinking about various things. He should've been sleeping, but he just couldn't.

"Lupin!", a drunk, harsh voice, echoed through the tent.

"Lupin, you dirty little…"

"Yes, yes, I'm awake," Remus shouted hastily, getting out of the tent.

"You are lucky that I haven't already thrown you out of here", Fenrir Greybacks raspy voice spit at him. "Now get the fuck outta here, you have a job to do."

Remus was literally throwing knives for a living. He was with the jugglers at the marketplace, entertaining people and hoping that they could spare some money.

Greyback was giving him and other jugglers a place to sleep for 60% of their earned money.

Remus was so tired of it.

But still, he got up, grabbed his knives and went to his usual spot.

"Whoa's" and "ohhh's" and "ahh's" went through the crowd, just like every day.

Boring.

Boring, boring, boring.

Tired.
