Chapter 2
He had probably been lying there for a couple of hours, and he was tired, almost asleep, in fact. When he heard footsteps on the stairs on the way up to the tower.
He wanted to know who was bothering him, but he didn't have enough energy to really even open his eyes.
"Erm- sorry, I didn't think anyone would be up here at this time of night," the voice said.
It was a beautiful voice with a low rumble that made Regulus's heart flutter.
"S'ok, I'm going to leave in a moment. Sorry for interrupting," Reg responded sleepily. He really was tired and almost asleep. He didn't care to be formal and tight right now.
"Would you like me to leave? Did I wake you up? Sorry if I did." The beautiful voice said.
"No, you're fine, I'm gonna leave as soon as i can muster up enough energy to open my eyes." Regulus chuckled.
There was a moment of content silende when he heard hear the man walk closer to him, probably to figure out who he was.
"Regulus?! Holy shit, why are you up here at two in the morning?"
At that point regulus opened his eyes only to find the one and only James Potter standing a couple feet next to him.
"Of course it's you," Regulus said, hoping he didn't sound as sleep deprived as he was, his thoughts were still hazy, "Goodbye."
Regulus was trying to get up when Potter interrupted, "Wait, no! I mean - erm- you don't uh- have to go... I don't mind, really"
Regulus rolled his eyes, but much to his dismay, his heart fluttered once again.
