Drastoria+Scorp; Hot Fall
It was late evening in early October, and it was as hot as it could ever be in England. The temperature had been pretty much bipolar that year with summer being the hottest one they had in years. By now at least a cold breeze should be felt but whenever the wind blows, it would only get hotter.
Astoria herself was tired of doing spells every five minutes just to keep the house and her family from overheating. She was weak, her magic was weak but she was also stubborn so she would not let her husband help her with the spells. After taking a fourth cold shower she decided to just wear a short cream dress with a low cut and go outside to the backyard.
Her husband, Draco Malfoy, was sitting at a round table close to the garden bushes with their son sitting on his lap. Her stomach did a happy flip and a smile grew on her face as she walked closer. Scorpius was the first one to notice her and started calling for her and reaching his little arms. Astoria sat down right next to Draco who looked at her with soft eyes. She took Scorpius and sat him on her lap before attacking his face with kisses causing the little boy to giggle and kick his feet.
Scorpius was barely a year old and he was as energetic as she was which would often give Draco a headache. He had gotten his father’s blonde platinum hair and his light blue eyes, he was like a mini version of her husband.
She stopped her attack on her son’s face and looked up at her husband. “How can you wear that when it’s so hot?” A grimace appeared on her face as she analyzed her husband’s clothes.
He was wearing a button down white shirt with a black blazer on top of it, both being long sleeved. Draco laughed and shook his head before taking out his wand and flicking his wrist without a word. Astoria felt a refreshing air run through her body and soon enough it was like she was outside in early winter. She guessed he had done it on their son too because of the giggle the little boy let out.
“We can do magic Tori, remember?” Astoria huffed at the mocking tone Draco had. She kissed her son’s head and couldn’t help but think about how useless she has been the past year.
Draco must have sensed that because he had moved his chair closer to her and wrapped an arm around her. “It’s ok Tori, it’ll get better, I promise.” He kissed her cheek and smiled at her. She returned the smile before hugging Scorpius closer to her body.
It was a very hot fall but at least she had her son who would cling to her body while giggling and make her ignore everything else and a husband who knew how to do spells.
