Chapter 2
The next week Remus and Lily were as obnoxious as possible. Holding hands and whispering lovingly. Remus pulled out all the stops on pet names but by the end of the week had called Lily, pookums, pumpkin, beloved, flower, precious, my most special, and many, many others. La piece de resistance though happened one night a few days into their ‘relationship’.
“Well, I'm gonna head.” Remus said, getting up from where he was reading in the common room and heading towards the portrait hole.
“Ooh” Sirius said looking up from where he was upsidown on the couch. “What are you up to?”
“Im going to meet with Lily,” Remus said, looking dreamy.
Sirius’s face immediately dropped. “Oh. ok then. When will you be back” he snapped.
“Oh I'm going to be spending the night at the room of requirements. I wont be back.” Remus responded.
“Oh I see,” Sirius said not looking at Remus, “have fun then”
“Thanks” Remus walked out beaming.
Remus met Lily at the door to the room of requirements grinning like a fool.
“Whats got you so happy?” Lily asked when she saw him.
“What am I not allowed to be happy to spend the night with my gorgeous girlfriend?”
Lily shot him a suspicious look but let it drop. They paced back and forth and the door appeared.
“My lady,” Remus said bowing dramiaticly. “Welcome the the best night of your life.” Remus opened the door to reveal a massive library, filled with soft armchairs and even softer pillows and blankets strewing the ground.
“Oh Remus you shouldent have.” Lily exclaimed, dramatically stepping through the door.
As soon as they were in the door closed and locked behind them. Openable only from the inside.
“Alright cut the shit,” Lily said as soon as the door was closed. “You’re happy about something more than just hanging out. What’s up.”
“Well it’s not much but, Sirius didn’t seem very happy when I told him we were spending the night. He’s been getting annoyed every time we hang out. It might be nothing but. I don’t know.”
“Ooh that is exciting.” Lily said, clapping her hands.
Lily and Remus sat down and got comfortable, talking about their verious loves and books that they had read.

“Jamieeeeeeeee this is a travesty” Sirius said, flopping down on James’ bed.
“What's up?” James asked, putting down the quidditch magazine he was reading.
“Moony is going to sleep with that girl!” Sirius exclaimed.
“First of all, Lily is not ‘that girl’, she's Lily,” James said calmly. “Second she’s not mine, I have moved on from her and it turns out she has been in love with our moony.”
“And that's the problem!” Sirius cried. “She came and stole moony and now I have to watch them be all couply. It should be me! And now they're going to have great sex in the sodding room of requirements! Do you know how much I would pay to be there instead of Lily!?”
James gave him a look as Sirius took a deep gasping breath.
“All I’m saying is I would appreciate switching places with the woman who stole my husband,” Sirius exclaimed.
James let out a long sigh, before looking at Sirius with a look of vague disappointment. “Maybe you should say some of this to him. I mean thats what I do and its worked out pretty well.”
“James, the first person you liked is now dating our best friend and the person you like right now hates your guts. Forgive me if I dont take your advice.” sirius snapped.
“Reggie doesnt hate me” james said, face falling, “does he?”
“No, your right.” sirius said backtracking. “Reggie likes you more then anyone ive ever see him interact with. I'm sorry I said that. Its not true. I guess I'm just upset about my love life and I'm letting it bleed into yours.”
“Its ok,” james said, smile imediatly back. “Im sure everything will work out.”
“Wait ive got it!” sirius exclaimed, jumping up off of the bed. “Ill just turn the flirt all the way up! Hell have to fall in love with me! I mean who wouldent?”
James laughed. “Im sure he’ll fall head over heels for you”
“I know” sirius said flipping his hair dramatically. “Im a genius”
