Meeting Eleven
Mike told Rolf about Will. Luna was preoccupied by a young girl who had a shaved head, Luna looked at her she had striking features "what's your name?" She asked gently. The young girl looked at Luna and said "Eleven". Luna looked confused "not your age, your name". Another boy named Dustin answered "that is her name", Mike turned and said "we call her El".
Rolf turned to El "what does home look like?" He wondered what kind of home does a child have where she's called by a number. The young girl looked round the junk that was lay around them she shut her eyes, then lifted her arms stacks of tiles and other assorted pieces of junk moved swerling around them. Luna looked at Rolf shocked as the tiles became walls, and a large concrete tube upturned. Other bits of furniture looking items were being made by other bits of junk that was scattered around. El looked around seemingly satisfied with her creation. She then looked at Rolf and said "home" El walked back through the the tiles to the others. She turned round to face her creation, and let out a yell that the others could feel in their stomachs. All the tiles and other bits fell to the floor shattering and becoming dust. She turned to face the others her nose was bleeding, Lucas a boy with dark skin handed El a hanky from Mike.
Luna looked at Rolf "she could be a witch, like me". "A witch?" Eleven's voice made everyone jump, it was obvious that she'd never heard the term before. Luna took out her wand pointed it at a magpie and spoke "vera verto" the magpie turned into a silver goblet. El picked it up and studied it "pretty", Luna waved her wand and the goblet turned back into a magpie. Eleven jumped slightly and let go of the bird as it squarked indignantly and flew away, El looked at Luna quizzically trying to work out how it happened, she took the wand and pointed it at Lucas, who looked scared "vera verto" nothing happened. So El probably wasn't a witch.
