Chapter 2
A few months before the wedding
Newt smiled at grindelwald as he was going on about different aspects of being a dark lord
Grindelwald loved when newt would smile like that it made him feel special and loved although his little liebling had became more impulsive the longer they knew each other...some might say he was corrupting him
Newt said, "you trailed off there love..did you get distracted by a thought?"
Grindelwald smiled, "just one about how charming you are love."
Newt blushed and said, "no need for flattery we are engaged after all."
Grindelwald said, "I'm a firm believer that flirting should never end..it shows that you care for them."
Newt snorted, "fair enough although I have no worries about that as you tend to be obsessive."
Grindelwald pulled him close and said, "well you are all mine."
Newt said, "only if you're all mine in return love."
Grindelwald groaned, "you shouldn't say things like that little minx."
Newt laughed and smirked, "hmm I downgrade from a Incubus to a minx...I'll have to work on that."
Grindelwald said, "no downgrade at all love...I just like to mix it up don't want to be to predictable after all." pulling Newt into his lap on the sofa.
Newt squeaked as he landed.
Newt said, "you are not all that predictable."
Grindelwald laughed and said, " and that's rubbing off on you...you have been quite impulsive recently although I don't mind it at all."
Newt smiled, "perhaps it is because I feel safe with you to act how I want too."
Grindelwald smiled and said, "if that's the case then I am glad that you feel that way."
They hear a knock on the door and vinda walks in unsurprised to see Newt on Grindelwalds lap again she thought they were glued together sometimes.
Grindelwald glared and said, "what is it?"
Vinda said , "we have some Intel that you wanted... unless your too busy at the moment."
Grindelwald smiled and said, "very well then you can brief us as this involves Newt as well."
A few hours later
Newt was preparing for a rescue mission with grindelwald evidently they had found some nifflers being mistreated
Grindelwald had vinda keep a ear out for news of any creatures needing help as he knew his liebling would be sad if he didn't get to help his creatures here...and it was a small compromise on his part to make newt more comfortable here..not that he had told Newt about it yet...it kept slipping his mind when he saw the gorgeous red head
They decided to go together as Grindelwald didn't want Newt to get hurt..not that he didn't think Newt was capable but he didn't trust others with his darling.
Newt tied the person at the camp up and scanned to make sure he was the only one.
Grindelwald smiled at getting to see the mischievous side of his darling...he truly did love every aspect of Newt...well maybe not his brother but that was not Newt's fault.
Newt got the nifflers into his pocket and distracted with a few coins for now and went back to Grindelwald who had stayed out of sight for this.
Grindelwald looped his arm around Newt carful not to disturb his pockets and apperated them home .
Newt said, "thank you for having vinda on the look out" looking down .
Grindelwald tipped his head up to look into his eyes and said, "anything for you liebling anything at all."
Newt turned red at that but leaned in to kiss him regardless .
