All the younger dudes
Summary
So basically I was thinking all the young dudes but a different era. So like Vernon and Petunia dont want the kid dropped at their doorstep so they leave him to a children's home (like Remus in All the young dudes) and instead of being locked up every full moon, his magic goes out of control on full moons due to the blood ritual messing with his magic so he had to be locked in a cage. So he is like Remus abd Fred and George are like Sirius and James if they were twins and they play pranks together and stuff and then when Harry starts hogwarts they meet him on the train and they become friends too and then Hermione is like the Peter because I think Hermione could be like kinda rude at the start (like Peter was to Remus) to Harry because of all his scars and stuff and then also because Peter doesn't do some pranks and is kinda responsible in it, yknow? Just an idea and is probs gon be terrible

Chapter 2

Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet
Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. Mr. Dursley made drills. He was a big, beefy man with hardly any neck, although he did have a very large moustache. Mrs. Dursley was thin and blonde and had twice the usual amount of neck, which came in very useful as she spent so much of her time spying on the
neighbours.

The Dursleys had a small baby boy called Dudley and in their opinion there was no finer infant anywhere. So it was a surprise when one cold Winter night in 1981 a shrill scream could be heard as the moon was at its fullest.

Petunia Dursley was awoken by Vernon shaking her arm telling her someone is knocking on the door. She yawned quickly and slipped out of her bed. Checking the clock she saw the glowing red light say 11:51.

She hoped her little Duddykins didn't get waken up, it would take forever to get him back to sleep. She stalked down the stairs and slid the key into the lock then twisted it and opened the door. She couldn't see anything, probably some stupid Ding Dong Ditchers she sighed and looked down and her eyes widened in horror.
A little baby, no older than her own with black hair and a lightning scar on his forehead. The child was in a straw basket with a letter attached to its foot. She grabbed he letter and opened it. It said:

Dear Mrs and Mr Dursley,
This is Harry James Potter and unfortunately your sister and her husband were murdered by you-know-who. He survived but he has a very dangerous condition where his magic lashes out every month. I was hoping you could take care of the saviour of the wizarding world and allow him to be raised with your child.
  --Albus Percival Wulfric Dumbledore

She unvoluntarily let out a shrill scream. Magic in her home!? Around her Duddykins!? No way!

"Vernon!" She yelled and he rushed down the stairs. Petunia explained to him what happened and his face was red, fists clenched.

"We need to get rid of that- that freak!" He said furiously.

"We need to take him to the worst place we can! How about that children's home, the uh... whats it called? St Edmunds? I heard it was terrible. For freaks like him." Petunia said remembering Lily mention a place her friend grew up in where he was locked in a cage years back.

Vernon grinned a toothy grin. "Perfect."
The next day a meeting with the lady who called herself 'Matron' was made. She was an old woman around 86 with graying hair and a large scowl always playing on her face.

They walked through the facility to get to her office and saw the dead grass, decaying flowers, beat down sad children and delinquents all around. This place was perfect! Just the best place for a freak! The rooms had not a single ounce of colour and they stepped into the Matron's office and sat in two chairs.
"Now I understand this child has a condition. Would a cage suffice or is more needed?" She asked looking at them with a frown.

"I think that a cage would do just fine!" Petunia agreed happily.

"Dont worry," matron assured. "I've dealt with annoying freaks like that before."

"I've heard. I hope you treat him just as terribly as that Lupin one" The Matron scowled at the mention of Lupin but nodded.

"Of course madam."
  ------------------------◇♡☆☆♡◇-----------------------
Harry woke up with his vision blurry and a large burn covering half his left arm. He winced in pain as he sat up, hitting his head on the top of the silver cage causing a raging headache to ensue.

He wrapped himself in the old dirty blanket as Matron approached. He always ruined his clothes whenever the full moon rose and  matron said, he shouldn't waste more than he's worth, never letting him wear clothes in the cage anymore. She opens the door and he crawls out, looking at her eyes pierce into his soul.

"Get changed quick brat." He nodded and scrambled up, rushing to his small room next to the bathroom.

He grabbed his shirt and slipped it on, ignoring how large it was on him and how he needed to use a rope as a belt for his trousers so they stayed up. Harry rushed down to breakfast where the other kids were and ignored the shoves in the hallways that everyone got. It was normal. He sat at a table and ignored the glares like he ignored the shoves and dug into the stale loaf of bread with his teeth, they were sharp and pointy like a shark's,  but that was a good thing because otherwise he would struggle with his food more often than he usually does.

His messy hair was tangled up and fell just past his shoulders, curlier than anyone had ever thought was possible before meeting him. It was a really dark red, you could see in the sunlight the little orange strands of hair and red bits poking out but in normal lighting it was far too dark to be considered anything except black. He heard someone nearby trail on and on about how their old school took them on a trip to the zoo and there were snakes that wouldn't attack them!

He scoffed and rolled his eyes. That wasn't possible right? All the snakes in the garden bite and they bite hard. Last time an ambulance had to be called because one of the boys had like poisoning or something. All snakes are probably like that.

He flipped through his book, he could read but he only liked the ones about science and why stuff happens because it means he can make his own stuff like that time he made a lollipop! Matron took it but still, it was really cool.
None of the other kids liked him because he was a 'freak' and a 'bookworm' and apparently he 'thought he was too good for them' but he didn't! They just didn't speak to him so they didn't know him.

The book was on this weird thing called potions, he found it hidden in a draw stuck shut with gum. It was gross opening it but the book was really interesting. Apparently fire salamanders helped with heat and fire resistance but the tongues and lungs bring healing properties because of certain chemicals in them! He didn't really know what a fire salamander was but there was a picture of one in the book so he would be on the lookout for one now.

He wrote the properties down and drew a picture of it in his notebook like he did for every ingredient in the book. It was really interesting and he wanted to remember all of it! There were other books too with recipes and because he had most of the ingredients figured out, he decided he should write what the equipment and preparation does to it too so if he ever needed it he would be extra prepared!

"Harry! You have a visitor!" He heard Matron's voice echo down the hall and his eyes widened in shock. Him? A visitor? A visitor came for him? He closed his book and hid it under a floorboard in his room, hoping nobody would find it before walking to her office...
