The starting of the end
It was just a normal day in the city of Yokohama. That is, until something changed in the air.
Fyodor had finally gotten his grubby hands on the book, and he could finally wipe abilities off the face of the earth. He would not miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
He wrote within the book, before slamming it shut. The book's energy and ability ran through Yokohama before it eventually came into contact with Dazai, the Ability user with the most proficient and absolute nullification Ability known to man. No Longer Human lit up, and the book's order was nullified.
The Ability users felt something change about themselves during the book's call. As if a part of them, of their soul, had been ripped away. That is before suddenly blinding glacier blue light took them over on behalf of No Longer Human. Then, blinding lights engulfed their bodies, all separate colours based on their abilities. When they regained their sight, they felt different. The parts of their souls that had been ripped away only moments ago were back, but it felt… Different. It was as if they and this part of their soul were separated but still connected.
Ability users were then met with beings, all different in their own ways. Only a select few had to deal with this, and it turns out it was their Ability’s true form.
Unlike during the ‘Dead Apple’ incident, these abilities were not physical copies of their users and had actual emotions and sentience. They had personalities, opinions, names, ages, and preferences! They could dislike their users if they wanted to. This was incredible and even terrifying to most.
Ability’s who had no Physical body had magically materialized and resembled nothing like before seen when it came to them. They were constantly stuck to these physical forms and could not hide within their users like before. But that didn’t mean the users couldn’t use their abilities; quite the contrary, users could not only still use their abilities, but they had more control over them and could even have a fighting partner if the Ability wished to fight alongside them.
However, abilities that could be physical when their users wanted them to be, such as Demon Snow or Golden Demon, had not changed much. They stayed mostly the same, but now they were in a constant physical body and could not be hidden like before.
Abilities that were constantly in physical form, by that I mean Elise and Dogra Mogra(Q’s ability), had changed only slightly. After all, Elise’s was what Mori had wanted it to look like; the body had not changed other than small factors. And Dogra Mogra(Q’s ability) was quite literally a doll.
If No Longer Human or any nullification Ability were activated on them, they would simply disappear until the effect wore off. Usually, this would take around 5-10 minutes, depending on how long the contact was before they disappeared. And this “contact” could only be for 5 seconds; it would then translate to 5 minutes. The user could still use their ability after the Nullification wore off on the human body, but their physical ability would have to wait those minutes before reappearing from the cold void they had been placed in. A small pocket dimension, if you will, that feels a calming icy cold.
