Harry Potter Snape came hurrying downstairs and looking for his husband and not being able to locate him, he tried his lab. Opening the door he walked down the stairs and saw his husband at one of the many work benches. Standing over a cauldron as he stirred it.
Harry stood in silence watching his husband. Before in the past disturbing Severus while he was brewing led to potions being ruined.
Severus put a stasis on his potion and turned around to see Harry standing there. “Is everything okay?”
“Abigail has nearly finished packing for her weekend with her friends. Now then, you wish her well, tell her to enjoy herself.”
“Of course I will. That is all I want for her.”
Harry pointed a finger at his husband. “Yes! Just that. No embarrassing her, we trust her to behave and be sensible. No mentioning boys or sex. She knows to behave. Promise me Severus.”
Severus gave a put upon sigh. “I promise to wish her a good time and not mention boys or sex.”
Harry narrowed his eyes and looked closely at Severus before nodding. “Good. Now come on, she'll be leaving any time.”
When Harry and Severus left the lab they saw their daughter Abigail stood there with her friend Stephanie.
Abigail looked at her father. “Stephanie fire called earlier, she said you shut the floo on her when she asked after me.”
“She called asking if Abi was here. I told her no one by that name lives here.”
Harry looked across at his husband. “Severus.”
“What? Her name is Abigail.”
“Father, my friends call me Abi.”
“Is Abigail too hard to pronounce?” He asked. Ignoring the nudge in his side from Harry.
Stephanie cleared her throat. “I'll just go and get your things for you while you say bye.” She smiled as she left the room.
“Father did you have to?”
“Yes.”
Harry stepped forwards. “You have a fantastic weekend with your friends, you've studied hard and passed your N.E.W.Ts you all deserve this break to have fun.” He said as he gave his daughter a tight hug as Stephanie walked back into the room with a holdall bag.
Harry stepped back and looked at his husband. “Severus?”
Severus moved forwards and hugged his daughter before stepping back. “Have fun. And don't put anything in your mouth without boiling it first.”
“Severus!” Harry gasped. Ignoring Abigail and Stephanie giggling.
Once alone, Harry glared at Severus who raised a single brow.
“I kept my promise. I wished her well and didn't mention boys or sex.”
“Bloody Slytherins and their loopholes.” Harry muttered.
