Seven
Chapter Seven-
The place was pounding with girly music and loud fans. The Harpies fans were loud, women walked all around him, young girls gossiped and pointed out others in the crowd, the men seemed to wonder behind their girlfriends, wife’s and mums. Some men looked for the in-house clubhouse for drinks. Harry Potter made his way there also. It was mainly men taking refuge inside. The wide doors closed. Tables and chairs sat inside. The room was bigger inside then it looked. The bar had a line at it. He flashed his vip badge to the women at the door. “Thank you”, She said and opened the door. He felt his ears slightly ringing now. The silence inside the clubhouse was nice. Men spoke quietly now to one another. Some young boys sat excited with milkshakes. Harry passed them “don’t tell your mum about this ok”, Said one man to one of the boys. He made it to the front of the line finally. “Hi can I get a pint”, He said to the women bar tending. “Sure, on the house”, She said sitting down his drink, she pointed to a man in corner. Harry realized it was Draco Malfoy. Harry got his drink and went over. “Hi thank you for the drink”, Harry said sitting down. He realized a kids dragon sat on the table. “Your welcome, you looked like you could use it”, Draco said taking a drink. “Lily wrote and said she would be playing a lot today, wanted me to show up”, Harry said “Aww very good”, Draco said back nodding. Just then the door opened and music blasted inside. “Go Harpies !”, a child came running up to the table. “Slow down! Liam!” Rose said running after him. “Granddad”, Liam said holding his arms up. Draco placed him in his lap. “Sorry he got away from me”, Rose said sitting down dropping a bag on the ground. “Oh hi Uncle Harry, Liam say hello !” Rose said. “Hi”, Liam said. “I am just here for Lily”, Harry said happily. Rose conversed with him for awhile. Liam played dragons.
Lily played so well, very professional. Harry waited for the press conference to be over. He could hear her speaking through the speakers in the family waiting room. “We did a really good job and are becoming one team”, She said happily. She scored the same amount of goals as the 1st chaser on the team today. A record for sure. Harry noticed a young man sitting in the corner. He looked slightly familiar but he wasn’t sure. After a few moments Olivia Maxwell came into the room. “I said I was fine”, She said not noticing Harry at all walking up to the young man now. “Alastair !”, She said. “Well what did the women say? That money was for our wedding, we set it aside”, He said back, “She said they would figure it out. It will be ok, the money doesn’t matter. I sat that money aside”, She said quickly. She was dressed in jeans, a harpies tank top with a black suit jacket on. “I don’t know why we are hiding this”, He complained. “Babe we need to get through this season I told you, no distractions”, She said getting closer to him. She was hiding something else Harry thought. Harry knew what was happening now. He had been here before many years ago with Ginny. “It was my money”, She said quietly to him. “I just want us to not worry”, She said. “You could have been hurt babe, I think you should come stay in London for a bit”, Alastair said, “how did the man know anything? I didn’t even know until you told me !”, he practically shouted now then he stopped noticing Harry now. “Babe”, She touching him. Just then the door banged open they jumped apart. Olivia looked annoyed and then she saw him. “Hi”, Olivia said to him. It was Lily who came right in now. “Dad ! That was the best one right ?!”, Lily said, “Did you get a photo or two for mum?”, Lily talked so quickly. “Let’s get dinner, your probably hungry”, Harry said ushering her out the door leaving the fighting couple alone. He should leave it to his people to put two and two together he thought later that night in bed next to Ginny. She had been away in Puddlemere for their match. “I am so proud of her. She will be on the first team in a year or two for sure now”, Ginny said to him putting lotion on her hands. “I am looking forward to a lie-in”, Harry said. “Don’t forget Leo will be with us in the afternoon”, Ginny said.
