Albus Potter was currently tucked up in bed reading a book. It was on plants and potions as he was developing a new headache potion for Saint Mungos. Ava’s bed was soft and cozy. Her flat was a bit nicer than his with a door man and an actual balcony with chairs and dinning set outside. Her large windows and sliding door were sound proof so she never heard the city below. She was on the first floor. Ava was away for her book show. He came to water the plants but just ended up staying. A house elf still came once a week to clean or getting rid of random clutter her mum found undesirable in the flat. Albus tended to avoid her mum. She was nice but had to much free time as far as he concerned. It was almost 10:30 pm and he fell asleep. He managed to turn all the lights off and put the wards up. Later in the night he heard the front door open. Maybe it was Ava so he went back to sleep then he heard someone in the office. They were searching for something. Albus was up with his wand and made all the lights turned on. He called the aurors. Whoever it had been in the flat left quickly back through the front door. No sight of the person as Albus hid in the locked bathroom. “Hello?”, Auror Dean Thomas called out and he heard Tristan was with him. Albus felt foolish now coming out. “Hi”, He said to both of them with his house robe on. “Albus?”, Asked Tristian he looked around a women clearly lived here not Albus. “It’s my girlfriends place”, Albus said quickly. “We will get the investigation team in and we need to take you in for a statement, your wand Al”, asked Dean. He handed it over and they took him in for questioning and statement. “How do we contact your girlfriend?”, Asked Thomas. He gave them that information. Another break-in-Tristian thought they might be connected now. Olivia was a rich daughter and so was Ava. They didn’t need to work but did, some in the Wizarding world thought they should stay home and make babies.
Ava was called back to London. Her place was broken into. “I am not going back there”, She said while sitting in Harry Potter’s office. He knew her very well and it was not a conflict of interest as he was not on the case. “I will go with you and you can see if anything was taken”, He said back to her. “Ok”, She agreed but wasn’t sure how she could help them. They got up and Harry took her-side along with him. They popped in front of door. Aurors took fingerprints and even found a sticky foot print on the floor inside the door. Albus was ruled out immediately as he wore converse trainers and this was a boot and large. “Hello Ava I am Senior Auror Milton, we just need you look around and see if anything is missing. They broke into your office it seems.”, He said letting them inside. He put bubbles around their shoes so they wouldn’t contaminate the crime scene. Ava took a right down the corridor and stepped inside a small room with a small window. A desk was set up with a comfy chair and shelves. A calendar showed everything in her life on the wall. The room had papers and books all over the floor. She pulled the drawers open the bottom one was locked and she opened it for them. “My typewriter is gone. I use my laptop but use the typewriter for my final drafts so I can read out loud from my laptop for mistakes. I hear better then I am a visual process thinker”, She showed them the empty drawer. She opened the rest. “Some of the paper is gone also for the typewriter”, She said to them. “Anything else ?”, Milton asked. “My invite to the spring Ministry Ball”, She said, “I put it right here for safe keeping, now all that is here is this notebook, it’s not been used yet”, Ava said. She opened all the drawers now. “Nothing else is missing, my ink, quills, paper for notes are all here”, She said. They toured the rest of the flat. “I had an expensive scarf hanging up here on my coat rack. It’s gone, I remember it because I was going to grab it as I left but I forgot. I couldn’t have the cab turn around there was no time”, She told them. She looked into the kitchen, living room and bedroom. “Everything else is here”, Ava told them. “You don’t have a hidden safe or money in the flat ?” Milton asked writing in his notebook. Harry stood by the front door and other aurors were outside. “No I don’t have a safe here”, She told him, “No extra money?”, He asked “In my wardrobe” Ava said, “Can you show me?”, Milton asked. “Yeah”, Ava said. They walked back into the bedroom her large double wardrobe was in the corner near the bathroom door. She opened it easy then pulled the first drawer open and pulled out a pouch- it was sparkly and blue-it said money on it. “Here it is, it’s all here”, Ava said opening it. Milton wrote down everything. “Great thank you Ava, we are done here”, Milton said /p> Ava and Harry went back to the Auror department. “I will go stay with Albus”, She told him. “They might need more so”, Harry said, “Ok, I will let everyone know”, Ava said. She called her whole team for the tour. “I know, this is awful, next week hopefully….ok great”, Ava said on her cell phone Harry stood outside waiting while she used his office. She then came outside, “It’s all taken care of, I will be back on tour next week, back in Berlin”, She said. “Ok great”, Harry said, “Come over for dinner both of you”, Harry said. “I am sure you have work to do”, Ava said. It was almost 11am now. “Yes”, Harry said. “I will tell Al”, She said then leaving the Auror department, “See you tonight”. She went to Al’s flat. Tristan watched her leave and was wondering how they all knew each other-school-sure, outside of that ? He started making theories. Money, missing invites, ect.
