Chapter Six-
It had been almost a week since Olivia Maxwell’s place was broken into. It wasn’t a fan or anything which had happened before. She sat in another meeting with the Auror office again on Friday in the Holyhead conference room. “So you don’t think you forgot to lock up, it happens”, Said again Senior Auror Annabeth Steven’s. She was dressed in jeans, white top and suit jacket. It was effortless Olivia thought. She could pull this look off for sure. Better then wearing sweaters all the time but she might be cold? Maybe. All her jackets had lining in them as they were expensive and tailored to fit her small frame. Olivia wore a sweatshirt and leggings with converse trainers on her feet. “No I remember locking up because I was looking in my backpack making sure I had packed my dry shampoo. I thought I would have to pull the wards down again and go back inside for it. The campsite doesn’t have showers that work most of the time. We sometimes book a B&B in a close by town if we have think it will be muddy from the weather”, Olivia responded. “How many times a year do you camp? Seen anyone following you or anything?”, Auror Steven’s asked, “A handful of times my boyfriend works in Magical Animal and Regulation Control Department, he likes the outdoors and I enjoy getting away from work”, She said getting a little upset now. “Ok great”, Auror Steven’s said back with a smile, “I am sure this will be figured out”, She said. “Are we done then?”, Olivia asked. “Yeah I am done. Thank you for this”, Steven’s said. “I got your schedule if needed and your fellow up questions”, and they both got up from the large table. “Thank you again”, Auror Steven’s said leaving to go downstairs to the floo network. Olivia turned the lights out and shut the door. She went to the coffee/tea area on the floor. It was nice and peaceful. Low chairs sat with tables. The coffee maker was large which did coffee and tea. Coffee mugs hung up on the wall. A big basket of biscuits sat ready for anyone to take for free. She entered quietly thinking about the questions. What were they searching for ? She knew nothing and didn’t see the guys face. She didn’t care about the money but how did he know it was there ? No one knew. Not even her parents. Just then she heard a sneeze from the corner. “Bless you”, She said automatically turning her head towards Lily Potter. “Oh hi”, Lily said eyeing her. Like she knew she was up here. “Hi”, Olivia said. She started to make a cappuccino pulling a mug off the wall. “Are you ok ?”, Lily asked getting up for another packet of biscuits. “Yeah fine”, Olivia said. “That’s good”, Lily said with a small smile, “I should get back to stats review”, Lily said walking back downstairs. Olivia was glad she didn’t have to do that today. She was free to go home Gwen had said when she pulled her out of the locker room.
Auror Department-
Senior Auror Steven’s was very good at getting information from suspects and people. “Nothing new”, She said putting the file down on Dean Thomas desk. “She didn’t trip up once, she didn’t even seem fazed that the money was gone, no one knew about it”, She told him. “It’s strange to have that type of money put away right?”, He asked her. Steven’s was married. “Yeah I don’t know maybe she was afraid she might need it or something?”, She said. “Young girl like that needed that much money put away?”, Thomas said, “let me think on it before you go back and ask” He said to her. He eyed Harry leaving for the court rooms. Stevens went back to her desk. It was almost 5. She had developed a good base for them with Olivia questioning her friendly for an hour. She wrote down ideas-boyfriend? Animal smuggling? The guy they picked up was not saying anything. He didn’t have the money on him or anything he else. Just a card for law firm. An expensive law firm. They had to let him go by midnight and his lawyer had been in to speak with them. He was pleading innocence and would pay the fine for breaking and entering. He hadn’t stolen the money they had checked his wand. No law said they could hold him without cause now. The law firm did animal conservation work and not criminal so it was a little odd but not illegal for them to help the guy. Steven’s left the Auror offices right at five and filed her reports for the day on the way out. She was starving and wanted some pizza for dinner. Homemade pizza sounded so good she thought going home that night.
In Holyhead, Lily Potters house was full with women. The second squad were all waiting for the take away pizza they had ordered. Music played, girls laughed, magazines passed around. It was getting warm this week. They played Portree at home tomorrow. It would be an easy match as Portree’s seeker was hurt and they didn’t have a back up. They were scheduled to play one hour off and on. Lily was very much ready for it. She owled her dad to come watch. She always had a ticket waiting for a family member and her brothers fought over the ticket sometimes. When she became first string she got more tickets for them. Just like her mum had done for them. She was a very small baby so she didn’t remember her mums retirement. There is one photo framed on the mantel of her in green in front of the stadium with her mum holding her close. Lily stepped outside and walked down four doors over number 18. She knocked. The door opened Olivia stood before her with her wand out and a face mask on. Her hair was damp and air drying. She had changed into sweatpants and sweater. “Oh hi”, Olivia said, “Hi I thought you might like some pizza and salad ?”, Lily said, “we ordered way too much”, Lily said back. “Um yeah sure, um this is almost done”, she said pointing at herself, pulling her wizarding cell out of her pants pocket. “Great see you soon”, Lily said going back to her home. 10 minutes later Lily let her inside. “It’s just like mine!”, Olivia said looking around. “Oh yeah”, Lily said. “I have got fizzy drink, water or tea?”, Lily said walking her into the kitchen. A large salad sat waiting for them with paper plates and napkins. “Your ready for anything “, Olivia said. “Yeah blame my family, we are always ready for a party, it wore off in me I guess”, Lily said. Olivia grabbed a Coke and went to the living room. One of the girls got up making room for her. “Hi!”, Olivia said waving to them. Lily played hostess to them for the rest of the night. Olivia noticed all the photos of her family on the mantel. “Wow, so many people”, Olivia said. “Yep”, Lily said commented back. Olivia enjoyed getting to know the girls. “Thanks for having me over”, Olivia said when she left. “Of course, we are all friends, anything you need”, Lily said waving her out the door. Olivia always had a routine before game night bed at 9:30 pm and read before at 8pm.
