The Fine Art Of Bullshit
Harry James Potter winced as he attempted to get up. His Uncle went a bit further than he had in years. Quickly he tried grabbing his glasses, but he could see. As he surveyed the room. It was filled with many beds lined against the walls, similar to the Hospital Wing.
His eyes lay on the bed next to him. The boy was about his age, so another 5th year. He had black, wavy hair that was to his shoulders. He was pale and kind of thin. His features were sharp.
"Ah, you are awake!" A voice called, startling the 15-year-old.
Looking at the end of the bed was Griphook. The Goblin from his first visit to Gringotts. Next to Griphook was another Goblin.
"You're Griphook! I remember you." Harry says softly. "How are you?"
He watched as their eyes widened, and their mouths dropped slightly. Tilting his head to the side, he wondered if he did something wrong. Thankfully these thoughts were unfounded when the two Goblins regained their composure.
"I apologize. It's not often that a Wixen remembers a Goblin. Much less one from four years ago." Griphook says kindly before handing him two pieces of parchment. "But down to business. I need you to look at these."

He felt his hands tighten on the second parchment. He...he had a brother? His parents hated him. He heard an echo almost of the boy next to him waking. He let himself zone out after that.
After what felt like seconds but had been minutes, two large hands held his arms firmly. Looking up, he saw the onyx eyes of his potion's Professor. Yet, they held a mix of emotions he had never seen in him.
"Pollux?.. baby?.."
"I...yes?.. you...you want me?.." He couldn't help but ask quietly. No one ever wanted him before. Petunia and Vernon made sure of that.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?" His voice carried the confusion and concern he felt at his son's words.
"Sev...Love...look at the fake birth certificates..." a deep voice said. The worst part was Ha-Pollux knew that voice. It was his Sire and the man out to kill him.
Looking up, he didn't see the creature from the graveyard. Instead, he saw a pale man with high cheekbones, wavy brown hair, and reddish-brown eyes. The eyes showed heartache, pain, sadness, and more.
He watched as his potion's professor put a hand to his mouth and let out a sob. His eyes watered as he watched the man break down. Was he truly that bad to have as a child?
He looked at his hands which shook slightly. He knew it was due to the Cruciatus curse. Yet he could see them blurring as his eyes filled with tears. Was this to be his life? One where he was not able to have happiness?
Pale hands held his own soothingly. He gazed up to see his Sire sitting in front of him. The man held a soft and understanding smile.
"Your Papa is simply upset by finding out you and your brother were there the entire time, yet he couldn't tell." He assures the child softly. "Both you and your brother were taken from us. It was a hard time for us but more so for your Papa."
"Can...can we go home?" Pollux asks, staring into his Dad's eyes. "I...I don't want to go back..."
He didn't say where but there were a few right answers. The Dursleys, to being Harry Potter, to the Weasleys. He just wanted to go home with his Father and brother.
"Once your brother fully awakens. If you wish to know, he would have been known as your friend, Neville Longbottom." Thomas answers softly.
The teen feels his throat gain a lump once more. His brother, his twin, was there. They hung him and his twin in front of his Papa. Teased them by having them next to each other.
"Dumbledore did this, didn't he?" He asks softly as he looked at his now awaken brother.
"He did." His sire answered in a mere whisper before beaconing his other son to the bed.
Once both men could, they pulled their twin sons into their arms, holding them happily. A family finally reunited.
As the boys entered Slytherin Manor, they were in awe. It was an elegant type of darkness. One that made children feel like they lived in a fantasy. It had five main areas.
The first was the North Wing. It held a room for Severus and Thomas. A room for their sons. A room for Lucius and Narcissa. And one for Draco, Severus's Godson. It also held a sitting room, a small kitchenette, a library, and a playroom set up from when the boys were babes. It was referred to as the family wing.
The second was the South Wing. This had roughly ten rooms for those who stayed for the boys. It was supposed to be for their friends growing up. As well as any overnight guests Severus and Thomas had no patience with.
The third held the large dining area, the ballroom, the large sitting room, and the kitchen. It was simply the Public Wing.
The fourth held the living spaces for the House Elves. Due to the size of the Manor, there were a dozen or so families of House Elves.
The fifth was simply the entrance.
"Do...do you think they actually want us?" Castor weakly asks his brother, eyes already tearing again.
"I don't know, Cas." Pollux stays, sadly.
Both boys wanted desperately wished for them to love them, want them, and care for them. Yet neither truly knew what any of that was supposed to look like. Pollux because of the Dursleys, Castor because of Augusta and Algie Longbottom.
"Did you know that Fenrir Greyback has two sons?.." Castor asked softly. "One of them is Professor Lupin.."
"I didn't..." Pollux whispers. "Apparently, Rodolphus and Bellatrix Lestrange have a son..."
"My babies hate me, Tom. Bloody hell Castor is scared of me! I'm his bloody boggart!" Severus cries. "How could I do that?.."
"You weren't in control, my Love. You know this. The boys will understand." Thomas soothes, holding his husband and mate close.
"I just, why?"
Why did their boys have to be taken from them? Why couldn't fate be kind? Just why?..
"Papa, Dad?.." Pollux questions softly. "Can..can we sleep with you both?."
Pollux and Castor Slytherin were at their father's doorway nervously. Each one had red, puffy eyes from obvious crying. Castor kept sniffling slightly and was hiding behind his brother. Both are in their black cotton pajamas.
"Of course," Severus says immediately, giving his husband a look daring him to try him.
Something the dark Lord never did either way. The Dark Lord Voldemort knew better than to try his husband in mother mode after doing it once when he was pregnant with the twins.
The two men shifted. Pollux immediately went to his Dad, allowing Castor near their bearer. Young Castor almost jumped next to Severus, hugging the man's middle, crying.
"I'm sorry, Papa. I promise to do better in classes. I do try!"
"Sshhh." Severus soothes softly. "That was actually because of spells put on you. You have a natural ability with potions. Just as your brother is a naturally like your father. Besides, I should have been kinder no matter who you are, my sweet badger."
"B-Badger?.." Castor stutters out.
"I could always tell you were a Hufflepuff, sweet one. That's okay. Your dad and I love you no matter what house you belong in." Severus states soothingly as he pets his son's hair. "Just as I could always tell your brother was a Slytherin. A mama always knows their babies."
"Can we call you Mama?" Pollux asks kindly with wide eyes from his spot with their Dad before turning to Thomas as well. "And you, Papa?.."
Smiling, both men nodded before each kissing their sons' foreheads and telling them goodnight. That night all four males slept well for the first time in years.
Severus, because he had his babies with him as well as his husband back.
Thomas, because he had his sons and husband as well. He couldn't care about being back alive, although he was grateful. He just was happy to have his family again.
Pollux was happy to have a family. He went from an orphan to two parents and a brother.
Castor was happy to have a family that seemed to love and care for him. Not the family that beat him for not using as much magic.
"I love you, Mama and Papa." He whispers into the night.
In a home near Ottery St Catchpole, a young girl of 14 sat on her bed smiling. Her bright silvery doe-like eyes shined in the dark happily as she watched the future.
"Ah, Lady Fate is kind to us in this life, at least. Isn't she, Mumma?"
The young girl looks to her left to see her mother, Lady Pandora Lovegood née Malfoy. The woman who died in another life lived in this one when her daughter was able to warn her properly. Both women gained the ability of pure divination.
"She is my sweet bug. Now try and sleep." The woman states, kissing her daughter's temple.
