Remus awoke to his bones aching. He looked up from the bed to see Sirius by his side. His head was hung low his eyes red and swollen. He had been crying.
“Are you alright my love?” Remus’ croaky voice caused Sirius head to snap up.
“Uh, y-yeah moons. You’re awake. U-uh how are you feeling?” Sirius’ voice ached with guilt. He avoids Remus’ eyes.
“What's wrong my love?”
Just as his head lifted, his eyes beginning to reach Remus’ the hospital wing doors swung open. James burst over to Remus’ bed.
“Get the hell away from his Sirius. The last thing he needs right now is you by his bed.” James yelled his voice was filled with anger.
Remus had never seen James so mad in his life, especially with Sirius.
“What no, I want Sirius to stay, what’s going on pads?” He felt sick looking at the guilt on Sirius face fearful of what had made James so angry.
“Oh, so you haven’t even told him yet. Go on, tell him Sirius. See if he still wants you to stay after he finds out what you’ve done.” James seemed like he was going to kill Sirius.
“Moony, I- I’m so sorry. I need you to know that i love you so much. I will forever love you with all my heart. It was a mistake, I didn’t mean to, I didn’t think, I swear if I had of, I wouldn’t have done it. Please i just need you to know how much i love you and how sorry I am.” Sirius choked on his own words as he tried to speak through the tears swelling in his eyes and falling down his pale skin.
“Would someone just please tell what the bloody hell is going on.” Remus raised his voice just wanting an answer.
“Pads told Snape. He sent him to the shrieking shack. He told snape to meet him at the bloody shrieking shack on the night of the full moon.” James seemed to get visibly angrier as he said it.
“HE WHAT!” Remus screamed at the top of his lungs. He had so many emotions flowing through his body.
“HOW FUCKING COULD YOU BLACK! HOW COULD YOU TELL SNAPE! I COULD HAVE KILLED HIM! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME!” Remus’ eyes began swelling with tears.
He ripped his hand away from Sirius. “GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME! NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN! NEVER COME NEAR ME AGAIN!” Remus began to cry hysterically. “we’re done.” His voice broke as the words came out of his mouth.
“Moons please” Sirius eyes filled with tears once more.
“You don’t get to call me that anymore.” Remus stared straight ahead avoiding Sirius’ tear-filled eyes.
He heard as Sirius walked out of the hospital wing, tears pouring down his face. Remus turned to face James.
“Did I hurt snape?”
“No, he’s fine Moony.” James sat down in the seat next to Remus’ bed as he spoke.
“Did he tell anyone?” Remus tried to hide the fear in his voice.
“He’s tried to tell Regulus’ little group, but they just laughed at him like he was crazy.” James gave Remus an awkward smile.
“Oh, thank merlin.” Remus sat up in the bed. “I’d like to be alone if that’s ok.”
“Sure mate” James grabbed Peters arm pulling him out of the hospital wing.

‘I’m such an idiot, why did i ever think he would stay with me after what I've done.’ Sirius thought to himself sitting on the bathroom floor against the locked door, staring down and the neat red lines stringing down his wrists. He heard the door open as James and Peter scurried in. He became absolutely silent not wanting them to be aware of his presence.
“I will never understand why he claims to love Remus, I mean he’s willing to use him as a weapon just to get back at Snape. I mean snap could have died. I hate him just as much as anyone else, probably more but I wouldn’t send him to his death, I definitely wouldn’t do it if it was going to hurt Remus.” James words cut deep into Sirius’ heart.
“Yeah” Pete replies just wanting to let James get everything he was feeling out.
“I mean Remus has been in bad enough shape since Grant took advantage of him, Then his Mum. I mean, I’m just worried this might send him over the edge. He still hasn't started eating properly yet. Mum will come once she gets the letter later today. I think she might try to take Remus home for a bit.” James’ voice echoed with worry.
“We both know that Remus won’t go home, He’ll just throw himself into his studies, Maybe sit with Lily and the other girls.” Peter tries to give James a reassuring smile.
“Yeah, I suppose you’re right.” James smiles the best he can as he crawls into bed shutting the curtains.
Sirius decides he's going to sleep in the bathroom that night. It’s not like James wants to be in the same room as him anyway. Sirius’ mind swelled with questions ‘since Grant took advantage of him’ what did James mean by that. What had Grant done to Remus? Is this why he had been in such bad shape since Christmas holidays? Is that why he hated being touched? Why he only ever wanted to snog or cuddle now. Had it really happened? Had he really not known. Did Remus really hide that from him?
