As we both saw the same moon
Evanlynn woke up to her head practically feeling like exploding. She felt a quiver running down her spine as she saw the shadows of the tree’s moving at the sound of the wind. The moon shone bright, reflecting in the lake in front of her.
The ground she was laying on felt hard, she felt the dirt on her hands, making them rough and uncomfortable instead of smooth and easy.
Her head was pounding, making her vision blurry, not that she could have seen a lot at all, seeing that it was almost completely dark.
Everything would’ve been pitch black if it hadn’t been for the moon still shining bright, giving a mysterious glow to the forest.
Evanlynn didn’t know the exact time, but she knew it was really fucking late, like midnight late. Her dads would probably have her head, if they even cared at all, they were probably to busy with Ember anyways, she thought sadly.
She looked at the stars, she could easily locate her fathers star in the night sky, reminding her of her father.
She quickly decided to go home. Evanlynn was sure she’d find her way back in the dark, how hard could it be?
She tried to sit up from the ground, but her whole body protested. Her vision got even more blurry then it already was, and for a slight moment she wondered if this was what Harry’s vision was like 24/7 with the bad eyesight, that he had clearly inherited from James.
Evanlynn decided to try and put some weight on her legs, hoping it would be more successful than her last attempt to get up. But it resulted into a sharp pain running through her right leg.
The moment she felt it she screamed it out in pain.
“OWW, shis bLoOdY SHITE!”
She fell down almost instantly, hitting the forest ground hard.
Her head was now hurting more then ever, blinding her completely, as she let herself slip into a more secure state of unconsciousness.
{-----------}
Remus was tired.
His body protested against every step he took.
He looked up to the sky, the moon shone bright, leaving Remus to wonder about the exact time.
He quickly ran an tempus charm, his wand lit up and practically spewed out the bright bold numbers showing the current time, The light radiating of it was a lot Remus felt his eyes water at the sudden exposure. Ones his eyes where accustomed to the light he could clearly read the time, it read 02:43, which was indeed very late.
He and Reg had been searching for over eight fricking hours now, and Remus grew more worried with every passing minute.
He and Reg had been searching non-stop for these past hours, together they managed to combe out almost every single place Evanlynn went to regularly. Her friends places, parks, café’s, the Daigon alley, fucking amazing library’s, you name it they had searched there. But she was nowhere to be found.
This unfortunately would confirm Remus his least favourite suspicion, that Evanlynn must have fainted somewhere random, completely helpless and alone in whatever state she might be.
Remus felt so fucking worried, like his chest might be able to explode from the weight tightly pressed on it by the worry and stress for his daughters wellbeing.
He and Reg had arrived at the last location they could think of an hour ago, the forest near Remus and Sirius’s house.
It was really Remus his last hope of finding Ev tonight, a thought haunting his every movement and every minute his daughters safety was not guaranteed.
He and Reg had split up to make the search go faster and more efficient, but the clock was mentally ticking, and Remus had already seen and searched the better part of the forest, which let to him believing he really wasn’t going to find his child today, maybe not even tomorrow.
He could only call the aurors if she was missing for twenty-four hours, which was absolute bullshite.
By this time Remus had practically lost all hope.
He stared at the dark forest, wishing it would consume him completely, leaving him with himself and his failures as a parent.
Then out of nowhere appeared a cat patronus.
Even though patronusses where always the same blueish colour it was clear that this was a black cat, Regulus his patronus, obviously.
The cat danced around his legs for a moment, before it delivered it’s message.
The message was clear and left no room for interpretation.
“ I found her”
