Remus found that it was very easy and soothing to talk with Luno, when done correctly. Once he got back into the flow, his signs became flowing and smooth; easy for Luno to read and respond to.

In turn, Luno also found himself to be soothed by the conversation. Despite the temperatures outside being abysmally low, his heart was as warm as a cozy fire. Lots of people had tried to get closer to him through various means; Sweets, Flowers, any common trick in the book. But Remus was the one who just did the simplest, yet best thing one could do to make the young redhead happy: Learn to actually communicate with Luno. It meant the world to him that Remus went through all that effort, for even just a chance at a normal conversation.

Eventually, Luno and Remus were both freezing, and decided to relocate their little talk into the bookshop they were standing in front. When Remus shook the snow out of his hair like a dog would, he heard something that was as rare as a five-leaf clover: Luno was laughing. Luno's face looked like sunrise. He seemed to have lit up from the inside. His nose was scrunched and his eyes had little wrinkles around them. Unbeknownst to himself, Luno sounded like a glockenspiel when he laughed. Remus was in awe.
