and they all lived happily ever after
Dazai waited impatiently, fidgeting with his hands and tapping his foot as he waited for the others
“Are you ok?” Blaise asked from beside him, slightly concerned.
“Yeah, I’m just excited.” Dazai responded, dropping his right hand to his side to hold hands with Blaise
Dazai stopped tapping his foot once he saw Ron and Draco bickering exiting the great hall, walking to where Blaise and Dazai were standing on the curb, followed by the rest of the gang. They were all in regular clothes so as to not raise suspicion when they reached their destination in the muggle world.
Hermione had her hair pulled back into a ponytail, and she was wearing a black spaghetti strap top with grey stars littered all over and a plain pair of jean shorts. over that she had a simple lavender zip-up hoodie
The twins, in an attempt to look exactly the same, were both wearing a plain maroon shirt and jeans. Dazai could always tell them apart though. Fred’s eyes always looked a bit more black than brown, while George’s eyes looked a bit more hazel.
Ron had a similar outfit to the twins, except with a navy blue shirt with an emblem of some school that Dazai didn’t know
Draco, always wanting to be the best dressed person, was wearing an ice blue button-up and a black pair of slacks.
Pansy was watching Ron and Draco bicker with mild interest. She was wearing a pastel pink shirt with a motivational quote, and a pair of leggings. She had two clips on her hair to keep it out of her face
Blaise was wearing a dark green hoodie and a pair of sweatpants
Dazai himself was wearing a black and white striped sweatshirt and a pair of jean shorts.
Hermione walked up to Ron and Draco and placed herself firmly in between them to stop their argument. When she spotted Blaise and Dazai she sped up her pace a bit, dragging the two annoyed boys with her.
“Where’s professor snape and Ms. Rei?” She asked Dazai
“Oh, they should be here any minute, then we can get going!” Dazai responded. As if on cue, Rei came walking out, followed by a very uncomfortable Snape, Presumably weirded out by the lack of his wizard robes.
Once everyone was crowded out in front of Hogwarts, Snape raised his wand and summoned the Knight bus, Shocking Rei at it’s sudden stop
Dazai snickered at Rei’s reaction, knowing that he was the same way on his first trip. He internally debated warning Rei about the trip itself, but decided against it because it would be funny
Dazai sat down next to Rei, wanting to see her reaction to the jerky movements of the bus. Ron and Draco had been forced to sit next to each other while Hermione and Pansy sat together and talked about something neither of them had much interest in. Blaise sat himself in front of Rei and Dazai, trying to keep an eye on the younger of the two.
Once Snape had finished telling the driver their destination and had sat down, the bus suddenly lurched forward before shooting forwards with unnatural speed. Rei was forced back into the seat at the sudden movement and squinted her eyes.
There were multiple stops before all of them were able to shuffle out of the bus. All of them looked up at the imposing rides of Alton Towers. Their silence was broken by Pansy
“Don’t we have to have, like, muggle money to get in there? How are we gonna get that?” she asked incredulously, surprised no one else had thought about that.
“Don’t worry about that, I got it covered,” Dazai said, pulling out a wallet from his bag. He left the others and began walking towards a ticket stand. The rest of them stood in an awkward clump and began looking around. Blaise spotted a sign that explained ride intensity. Apparently if there was a green circle at the entrance of a ride it symbolized low intensity. Yellow square was moderate, red triangle was high, and black diamond was extreme.
Once Dazai finally returned, Tickets in hand, they all began migrating towards the entrance.
They all enjoyed their day at the park, Ron stuck to all the low intensity rides, almost getting sick at the thought of going on a mid-level one. Hermione, Draco and Pansy all stuck to the low and mid intensity rides, Draco trying to go on a high level ride but chickening out before he ever reached the top of the stairs. The twins and Blaise went on mainly high thrill rides, Blaise being dragged onto one of the extreme rides by Dazai. Rei and Dazai went on exclusively the high and extreme thrill rides, Dazai’s favorite ride was the 400 ft drop tower that even Rei refused to go on Snape never went on any rides, simply standing to the side the entire time. Once they had all been thoroughly tired out, they went back to hogwarts.
Dazai and the Hounds went to the gang room, Dazai explaining his plans to annoy his new father the entire way there. Hermione and Ron started studying, Ron being quite reluctant to do so. Draco finally began to get Egg and Pansy used to each other. The twins silently plotted, even Dazai didn’t know what they were talking about. Dazai and Blaise were sitting on the couch, talking about nothing in particular, with Orion curled up in the former’s lap.
And they were happy
