James could feel his best friend jumping in excitement next to him but that was predictable considering that regulus was his brother.
Sirius grabbed James by the shoulder and excitedly screamed at him
JAMES MY BABY BROTHER IS CHAMPION OF THE WORLD FOR THE SECOND TIME!!!
I know Sirius calm down a bit.
After James told Sirius to calm down he took a few breaths and relaxed but you could still see the excitement on his face. After the celebrations ended Sirius grabbed James by the arm and dragged him to wait for his brother next to the dressing rooms.
They waited for no longer than 30 minutes before Regulus came out carrying his trophy and gear with a completely neutral face like this was a normal day and he didn’t just become an Olympic ice skating gold medalist.
Sirius was so exited and practically pounced on regulus hugging him and screaming something along the lines of “MY BABY BROTHER IS AN OLYMPIC HOLD MEDALIST IM SO PROUD OF YOU” ind smooching his cheek.
Regulus definitely didn’t look too impressed by this act of affection from his brother and just stood there awkwardly.
James decided to introduce himself to regulus considering he looked a bit weird just standing there.
Hi. I’m James. Your brothers friend. I’m on the Olympic hockey team.
Regulus looked him up and down and said.
Nice to meet you James. My brother talks too much about you.
James chuckles but regulus keeps an absolutely straight face and says.
I have to go meet up with my team so good luck to you too. Maybe speak to you later.
And just walked off. When he was out of their sight James asked Sirius.
What’s up with him. He practically doesn’t have emotions or something.
Sirius chuckled and replied.
He’s always been like that. Though he’s nice to his friends. He’s more of a private person.
He looks like the most private person I’ve ever seen that’s for sure. He wasn’t even that excited at winning the Olympics! The Olympics and he’s like what 4-5 years younger than me?
Sirius’ face lit up with a bright smile.
