Chapter 7
2 days later
Hearing knocking I frown following the sound down the Gryffindor hall, coming to the door I open it looking at the twins holding a trunk between them.
Rolling my eyes I push it fully open then walk back to the common room sitting down, and watch as they lift the trunk onto the table in front of me.
"The illusion was perfect"
Nodding I cross my arms watching them "So what do want?" I ask.
They smile opening the trunk "These are things we've taken from Filch that he's confiscated over the years or possible past caretakers".
Leaning towards it I frown looking at everything before nodding "What are you looking for?"
"We read a book by a wizard who spent years around muggles"
"They're a strange group but entertaining till we found a spot about how muggles learn to believe things"
"It spoke about repeating something to each other to enforce beliefs"
"And that starting very young is best"
Frowning I nod waiting to see what they're trying to say.
"It was old"
"In our mom's personal books"
"It got us thinking"
"She would tell our sister"
"She would marry Harry as a baby"
"She now keeps telling her she has a crush on him"
Holding my hand up I shake my head "Stop popcorn talking first".
Seeing they've stopped I nod sighing "Muggles grow up with religious beliefs so some families tell babies and young children about it, but what you're talking about is not a religion it's not good in fact it's considered evil by many".
"We knew it seemed wrong" they both say.
"Two children raised by the same family one is praised for anything and everything from birth the other told they are stupid, useless and ignored both children will be effected by this and learn to believe it" I say watching them.
"You're sister will either start to believe it because she has been conditioned to believe it or fight against it and turn on your entire family, possibly you two as well for not helping her" I say when I see they're paying attention.
"We wanted something to help her so she knows what's true and what's lies"
"That's advance mind magic not something we can do" I say eventually.
Seeing them looking defeated I frown since it seems so wrong for them "Holiday break, would you be able to take her out without your family?" I ask frowning.
They nod smiling "Yes" they both say.
"I can't believe I'm offering this" I mumble rubbing my thumb on my wand "My aunt is skilled with mind magic, if you can meet her near Diagon Alley preferably the Leaky Cauldron I'll ask her to get you three to help".
"We can do that so what do you want for helping us?" They ask motioning to the trunk.
"I can't take anything for that, it's Aunt Ingrid's choice on requests normally she asks for memory stones, those are found with Rock trolls and they have to willingly give them to you"
Seeing their confusion I chuckle shaking my head "Mountains, they are hard to see because they curl up and look like big rocks there are mountains not far from here, best to go at night and listen for the sounds of stones rolling or people talking, tell them you're needing stones for the Snow queen to help your sister".
Seeing them nod I smirk leaning forward "They are friendly and have no understanding of boundaries they will be all over you checking you out and they are heavy, since you two are normally happy and goofy you should get along just fine, if they mention anything strange about your mind and offer to fix it then accept it, they are Masters of mind magic".
One week later
Walking outside I smile picking up a leaf while walking closer to the Whomping Willow, reaching it I chuckle ducking it's swinging at me "Easy now, I wanted to look at you" I say while grabbing another branch.
Getting my talons out I start scratching at the tree being careful not to break a branch on it, seeing the tree shake and stop trying to hit me I smile lifting the branch to see how the spot looks seeing tiny leafs and flowers forming I nod.
"That's what I thought, you're uncomfortable and don't have anything to help you remove your over growth"
Pulling my wand out I wave it getting rough jagged rocks to come up around the tree, it quickly slams it's branches on them dragging them across "Hold on now you're to over grown, I need to help you remove it so that works".
Tucking my wand away I lift my hands facing my palms to the tree hearing people whispering and muttering, I smile watching the over growth peal off the tree till all the branches are free and hang down swaying like a willow.
A branch comes out wrapping around me slightly, laughing I reach up I pet it while smiling "You're welcome" I say softly stepping back when it lets go.
I smile watching it sway back and forth happily "What did you do to the Whomping Willow?" Professor Sprout demands looking at it shocked.
"I cleared away years of neglect from it, it's a willow but the branches thicken up over time it slammed around because it was uncomfortable and trying to remove the overgrowth or just in a bad mood from being uncomfortable"
