Lily,Regulus and James were the first ones to wake up.Lily was first,waking up and going to her room to get dressed for work,followed by Regulus who woke James up and the pair used Remus' room to get themselves changed before the three of them started on Breakfast.
"Go wake your brother up.As much as they both look very comfortable we need to leave soon" James asked Regulus who was sat on the kitchen counter watching James make their pancakes."And do it nicely please" Regulus gave James a deadpanned look but James just beamed at him,leaning in to press a kiss on his forehead.
Regulus walked over to the sleeping pair,Sirius layed with one arm wrapped around Remus,the other hanging off the sofa.Regulus couldn't see Remus' face from where it was buried into the crook of Sirius' neck but he assumed he was still asleep,it was only 8am afterall.
Regulus tugged gently on Sirius' hand,watching for any sort of Reaction.As much as he was impatient and just wanted to slap Sirius awake,he knew that Sirius would immediately jolt and sit up which would then startle Remus so he stuck to gently tapping Sirius' arm and hand while saying his name.
He finally disturbed,scrunching his face up as Regulus poked his cheek.Regulus placed a hand on Sirius' shoulder as Sirius looked up at him."Don't sit up" He warned him and Sirius nodded."Thanks Reg" he spoke and Regulus nodded before making his way back into the kitchen.
Sirius layed for a second gently running his fingers through Remus' hair,slowly waking him up out of his sleep.Remus stirred,turning his head to face the other side,his cheek against Sirius' chest and his forehead pressed against his cheek.
Sirius laughed softly,turning his head to place a kiss on Remus' forehead.Remus sat up slowly,using a hand on Sirius' stomach to help himself as he sat down in the space between Sirius' legs near the end of the sofa.
Remus rubbed at his eyes and Sirius moved his leg from behind Remus so he could sit up and face him.Sirius dropped his head onto Remus' shoulder,yawning as he did so,followed by a kiss placed gently on his head from Remus.
The pair finally got themselves up and joined the others in the Kitchen,Remus sat between Sirius and Lily while James and Regulus sat opposite them.Sirius ate while Remus layed his head down on Sirius' shoulder,his eyes closed.
here you go,love Sirius signed as he pushed Remus' breakfast towards him.Thank you Remus signed,though the feeling in his stomach told him he probably wasnt going to eat right much of it.
"i'm just saying!" James defended,his hands held up in defense as he beamed at Regulus."Well don't" he quipped and James barked a laugh.Sirius and Lily slipped back into the conversation as Remus let his eyes fall closed once more,his head resting softly on Sirius' shoulder.
Once they were all finished their food,except from Remus who wasn't hungry,Lily gently brushed Remus' arm and watched as he sat up to look at her.You feeling okay? she asked and Remus nodded,a small smile on his face.sure? she asked and Remus nodded again,a slightly more believable smile on his face.
text me if you need me,okay? she signed and Remus nodded.Lily waved bye to everyone and placed a quick kiss on Remus' head before leaving for work."Sirius we gotta leave in 15 minutes so you better go and get changed." James told him as he began clearing away everyones plates.
Once Sirius was dressed in his usual Tshirt and Jeans,he asked Remus if he could borrow a hoodie which of course Remus nodded and Sirius followed him to his room.this one okay? Remus asked as he held up a large brown hoodie which must have been a customised one because it had Remus' name embroided in small letters on the left side of the chest.
perfect Sirius pulled the hoodie on and Remus smiled.you coming to the shop today? Sirius asked as he put his belt on.Remus nodded and starting to get some clothes out of his drawer.Yeah,i'll have a shower then i'll come down.i could use a coffee to wake me up Remus signed and Sirius nodded.
Sirius stepped forwards and wrapped hims arms around Remus' waist,giving him a hug before Remus ducked down slightly to press a Kiss Sirius' forehead.You should totally walk around dressed like this more Sirius winked and Remus looked down at himself.What,in my pyjama bottoms? Remus asked confused and Sirius nodded.Yes,please and thank you he winked again as Remus rolled his eyes,a smile on his face.
Okay,i'll see you later.Call me if you need anything though,yeah? Remus nodded,ducking down to press his lips to Sirius' and smiling back at him i love you Sirius smiled i love you too,now go or James will not be happy Remus signed back to him,a smile on his face as Sirius nodded and Rushed out of the room.
Remus made his way to the living room to see the three of them out,waving at James and Regulus and blowing Sirius a kiss like he had promised last time.
It was around 9:15am by the time Remus got to the cafe,he spotted James at the countet who immediately moved towards Remus.He took Remus' arm and told him to follow him before presumeably yelling for Sirius to cover the counter,pulling Remus into a room before Sirius could see him.
"Sorry" James sighed,a small smile on his face as he closed the door to what Remus guessed to be the stock room.He frowned at James showing his confusion to which James nodded."Okay,so.First of all,Sorry for practically kidnapping you" James started and Remus smiled,nodding back.
"second of all,i need your help" Remus nodded again and James leant against a shelving unit,his arms crossed over his chest."i'm proposing to Reg.And i need your help" Remus gave him a third nod,settling back against the shelving unit opposite James.
"So he knows i'm 'working on proposing' because he teases me every chance he gets to which i tell him i'm 'working on it' and well,it's his birthday on Saturday and i want to do it then" Remus thought for a second before nodding."fancy helping?" James asked with a smirk and Remus huffed a laugh before nodding.
Remus and James casually left the room without Sirius or anyone else noticing and Remus stood at the counter waiting for Sirius to return from the back room/kitchen area.
Sirius appeared and smiled at Remus before making his drink.Remus pulled out his phone to pay on his card until he noticed Sirius tap his own card against the machine and wink at Remus.Remus rolled his eyes,a fond smile on his face.Thank you he signed and Sirius smiled feeling any better? Sirius asked and Remus nodded think i just needed to sleep it off.You make a very good pillow Remus joked and Sirius smirked maybe you should use me as a pillow more often then he replied and Remus smiled,picking up his drink.Maybe i will he signed before taking his drink over to a table where Regulus sat,James beside him with an arm draped over his shoulders.
The rest of the day was normal for Remus,spending a few hours with Regulus in the cafe aswell as James and Sirius when there were no waiting customers and then visiting his speech therapist before heading home and sleeping the rest of the evening away,warm and tucked away in his bed.
