Interlude 2 (thoughts)
Sometimes, Harry felt a burning in his blood that consumed him. He had always been able to summon the power of other lives, other versions of himself; however, the divinity sometimes burned brightly, making his blood burn with ichor, a potent golden liquid that held the power to create universes in his palm. He missed his beloved Percy.
Sometimes, his bones and muscles ached, a reflection of his old Kryptonian body, created in a Genesis chamber that mixed the DNA of Earth's greatest heroes. Strength, intelligence, magic, all in a single body that he used and still uses with honor and pride, bearing the House of El's shield inside a Batfamily bat. He missed his Jason and Dick.
Sometimes, he saw things, did things, thought things; these were the side effects of the constant use of several Miraculous, conceptual beings with powers on cosmic levels that he himself only matched when he was a god. He missed Luka and Felix.
Sometimes, when ghost Pokémon were around, a cloud of cold air would come out of his mouth, a reflection of all the time he had spent married to Danny. The constant contact with Halfa's ectoplasm really took its toll on him. He missed his Phantom so much.
Sometimes, he would look up at the stars and miss traveling among them. If he concentrated hard enough, he would feel the anodite spark in his core. He missed lying in Ben's arms.
Sometimes, when he imagined positivity, he would remember green hair and eyes, a radiant smile, and all the support in the world. He remembered amber eyes and red wings, a big body and a loud attitude, strong winds. He also remembered purple hair, electricity; he remembered the boy he had fallen in love with as an idiot who was always without clothes, even the idiot with a horrible personality who could vibrate his body. A time of Pro Heroes. He missed his adorable Izuku, his seductive Keigo, his intense Inasa, his stoic Hitoshi, his goofy Denki, his sunny Mirio and his complex Yo.
He misses them, so, so much... His past loves will forever hold a huge place in his heart and, well... one day, he will probably meet them all again in a new life.
Now, he thinks about this life, about Ash, Leon, Raihan, Steven and Volkner. He can't help but smile... He will find happiness in this life too.
