Gorgeous(Bet you can't guess what's gonna happen)

Gorgeous

You should take it as a compliment and made fun of the way you talk

You should think about the consequence of your magnetic field being a little too strong

...

You're so cool it makes me hate you so much,

Whiskey on Ice, Sunset and Vine

You've ruined my life, by not being mine

You're so gorgeous

I can't say anything to your face

'Cause look at your face

A party.

How had they let Barty, Pandora, Dorcas, Evan and Remus convince them to go to a party?

Ashlynn and Regulus exchanged nervous looks before being practically dragged by the others into the common area of the dorms on the floor below them.

There were fairy lights hung up about the room, armchairs, desks, couches and chairs pushed to the sides of the large room to make way for a dance floor. The music was loud and people were laughing and talking, already tipsy.

They all made a B-line to one of the tables that was crammed with bottles of all sorts of different drinks.

They opened a new bottle(just in case) and poured it into cups for each of them.

"Have fun!" Dorcas yelled over her shoulder as Pandora dragged her onto the dance floor, Evan and Barty followed close behind them, leaving Ashlynn, Remus and Regulus alone by the drinks table.

Remus smirked at them.

"I despise you," Ashlynn muttered darkly, glaring at him.

"Both of you are way too tense. Lighten up," He replied cheerily before a guy walked up to him and led him onto the dance floor.

"Sooo..." Regulus piped up. "They drag us kicking and screaming this party full of dancing people and cheap liquor and then they fucking abandon us. What a great group of friends, eh?"

Ashlynn snorted.

"Bet they wouldn't notice if we left." She replied.

"Hm," Is all Regulus says, his eyes glued to a tall guy with round glasses across the room.

Ashlynn sighed.

"Might as well have a bit of fun if we're already here,"

Regulus just nodded before disappearing into the crowd.

Ashlynn was only left standing alone for a few moments before a girl walked up to her. She was breathtaking, gorgeous, even. Her hair cascaded down her back in long auburn locks, her skin pale and freckled, her eyes emerald green.

"Hi," The girl said, smiling at Ashlynn.

Ashlynn blinked.

"Hey," she replied, not sure what else to say.

"I'm Lily, what's your name?" The girl, Lily, asked.

"Er, Ashlynn," She replied nervously, shaking Lily's hand.

She couldn't quite focus, with everything going on around her. There were so many people, talking, laughing moving around. The light flashed and White Glove by Dove Cameron was blaring on speakers that she couldn't quite locate.

Lily leaned in so Ashlynn could hear her better.

"Wanna get out of here?"

"Ah, I see your plan, take me away from the busy party so no one will notice that I'm gone until they find my body in a ditch in Birmingham next week. Nice try, I know all your tricks." Ashlynn replied while allowing Lily to lead her out of the common area, the taller girl's hand around Ashlynn's wrist.

Lily just laughed, a light, sweet sound and they walked down several sets of stairs and out onto the grass outside. It was already dark and Ashlynn sat down, her back against the side of the building. Lily sat down beside her, humming a tune of a song that Ashlynn didn't know.

"Y'know what's really depressing?" Lily murmured after a few moments in silence.

"What?"

"Standing alone by the drinks table at a party." Lily teased, laughing.

Ashlynn elbowed her lightly, smiling.

"Hey, you're the one who lured this loner outside to murder her."

"Mhm, sure," Lily replied, still smiling.

"Oh, and besides, I wouldn't have been alone if my only friends hadn't forced me to go to this party and then abandoned me to get laid." Ashlynn added, in a feeble attempt to defend herself.

"Actually, you would have still been alone, but just in your dorm, so..." Lily smirked at her.

Ashlynn rolled her eyes, but she was unable to shake the smile on her face.

"Well, I'd much rather be alone in my dorm, rewatching all three season of Love, Victor, than at a party."

"Oh my god, I love that show!" Lily exclaimed.

"I know, it's so good, right? I mean have you seen Lake? Oh, and Felix is just about the sweetest person ever!"

"Yes oh my god like none of my friends have watched it but I keep trying to get them into it." Lily laughed.

"Ugh, you need new friends,"
