1 september 1971 james pov
James had been looking forward to going back to hogwarts, almost since he left. Not really the school part, But to see his friends. Playing prank, having fun but also just to see them. He had seen peter a few time's, but he had not seen remus and sirius over the whole summer. He also remembered that sirius little brother, named regulus. James had seen a small picture of him, on sirius nightstand. In his mind he looked almost like a smaller sirius, but from what sirius had said he was not like him at all. He was more quit and never really spoke up to their parents just like he did. So when he woke morining of the 1 september, he was so happy he ran down to breakfast.
" some ones happy arent you" his mother said to him putting a plate down in front of him.
" yeah, i am so looking forwars to seeing all of my friends, i mean saw peter a few times. But still this is when we all wil be back in the same room. Also sirius little brother is also starting this, his name is regulus, think of all the nick names. Like reg, reggie and baby black, yeah, i know that the last one is really only about him being sirius's little brother, but still i think that it is really cute. I mean sirius is still really scared that he will get in to slytherin, but i still think there is hope that he can get in to gryffindor." james said all well moving his hands alot, and speaky so quickly that his mother could not keep up.
"woah, woah slow down there, my boy" monty his father said while walking into the room. He looked like he just woke up from bed, and just put on his glasses . He kissed his mother, and james fake gagged. "Dont do that" his mother scolded, but with no anger in the words. He just gave her a smirk, and took a bite of his toast. Well he and his parents ate, they talked all about his friends and the new school year. When his mother said that she hoped they would play less prank's this year, he just said sure. But under the tabel he was crossing his fingers. They where going to play as many if not more this year. He knows that remus will try and make them stop, but he knows that they never will.
" go get dressed and make sure that everything is in your trunk" his mother said when they where done. He ran up to his room and got into one of his favourite shirts, and his most comfortable jeans. The shirt was one with a big dog on it that said " sorry my dog ate my homework" and overit he put one of his gryffindor jumpers. His jeans where dark blue with a few rips on the knees. He ran his hair trough his hair, and called it a day. He knew that his hair was a bit messy or mabye that was a bit of an lie. It was very messy, but he just never really cared about it. He pulled on his red converse, that had just a few to many holes and where a little bit to dirty. But he just really likes them alot.
"Oh there you are, hurry, hurry, we are going to be late." his mother pussed him out of the fireplase and gave him the a little bit of green pouder. He threw it on the floor and fire came to life. He said the place of a little cafe owend by a witch a few bloocks away from kings cross. He waved to the witch that owend the shop, and went over to his farther. "Come on lets go" his mother said when she stepped out of the fire, and began walking pulling them along. James and his father sared a look, and then began walking after his mother fastly. When then came ovr to the wall, his mother stopped and turend around to james.
"come on hurry on, you dont want to be late" she said moving him along
" realx mom theres's 10 minutes to the train leaves" he said rolling his eyes
" dont roll your eyes at me, young man" she said with a mean tone, putting her finger at him
" yeah, yeah" he said, and began runing at the wall. He felt him self slip trough and on to the platform wich was already full of kids and there parents. He began moving toward the train, as his parents came up behind him. His father put a hand on his shoulder, when he turend around he had big smill on his face. He began moving with them behind him. His mother help him push his tunk onto the train, and with a last good bye, he moved dowen the train. He was looking for his best freinds, and when he found one it was remus and peter.
" hello, my sweet loving best friends" he said jumping into the coupe. He began putting up his trunk, when remus got up and began to help him.
" it good to know you have not changed over the summer" remus said as they said down
" ahh, but why change when your perfect"
" perfect, i dont know about that" remus said looking back in his book. Peter began laughing, and james put a hand on his chest. And just as he was about to yell at him, the door opened. There stood sirius black in all his highness. He began saying hello, and putting stuff away all with a smill on his face.
The last time james had seen sirius, had been right when they where leaving the train. And he had been much sadder, and like he just wanted to run back to hogwarts agin. But he had always looked like that when ever someone talked about there famlit, or it was time to go home. Like when it was christmas last year, he had really looked like he wanted to jump in to the lake. He really just wantend to try and help him with his family. But when sirius never wantede to talk about it, he never knew what to do to help. He just fealt so useless some times, because he never really knew what to say. But right now sirius just looked so happy, tho james noticed that his brother was not with him. There was not little baby black.
" hey, sirius, where is your brother?" he asked.
" oh, our parents send him to a school in France, called beauxbaton" he said like he didn't care. But james could see that sirius really cared
" why tho" peter said
" some thing about not being with the same people as me." he said waving his hand around.
James thought about that, and it just sound really stupid to him. But sometimes sirius parents said and did really stupid things. So mabye it was nomal for them, but james never thought that his parents could send his not real sister of to another school. Tho he never had a sibling, so mabye this was just normal for siblings to different school's, so what did he know. James still thinks that sirius was really sad about his brother not being there. He could see it in the way his smil never truley came up to his eyes. He just allways looked a little sad, but still so happy. The rest of the train ride to hogwarts, went pretty normal. They brought lots of candy from the trolly. When they avrived it was raing very heavly, and they ran as fast as they could to the carriage's. When they fianly came into the great hall all of them where really hungry. But then they had to side to trough the sorting.
"come on, come on" peter was bounching his knee up and down
" oh they are almost done" remus replide to peter, tho all of them could hear his stomach
" hey inst that evans over there?" sirius said with a smirk
James spun in his seat, to look at look at where sirius was looking. And there she was, and james almost fell in love again. When james had meet her last year he had fallen i love almost just a sight, But her personality was almost just a great. The only problem was that she hated his gutes, but he dind't really care. He still really belived she would at some time would fall for him. He really hoped that he was right. So what if she said she hatedet him, but at some point she would turn her fellings arond and fall for him, and they would live happyli ever after. that was what he was going to tell him self, it was just so he could keep up hope. He knew it was a bit mean, and mabye it made him seem like his ego was super big. And mabye lilly had a point when she sayed his ego was as big as the black lake. But james just thought that she really would at some pint would say that she was really in love with him. But for now he would just have to wait, until she did come around.
" hey there, evans" he yelled arcoss the table. she turend around in her seet, and saw it was him and then went from a smil to a frown.
"what do you want potter" she said in a bord tone, like she would rather do enything other then talk to him.
" jut wanted to know if you wanna hang out some tim?" he said with a big smirk on his face
" i would rather jump out from the highest tower, then ever hang out with you" she said and then turned around to look back at the sorting.Well that was a bit of a blow to the gut. But as he said before she would come around at some point.
" ohh, you will get it next time jamie" sirius said clapping him onthe shoulder. Just then dumbeldore stood up, and said all of the useal stuff like dont break the rules stuff. Then the feast began. All of them began eating very quickely, but remus was the one who ate the most. He almost allways ate like a dying man. But at other times he would look like just getting the smallest amount of food down was the worst in the world. it was very werid but james just kinda got used to it.
When they where all down one of the prefects told the password to them. It was lions, and james never tough anything was funny in his 12 year old life. all of them then almost died becouse of the password, it was just so funny to them. Like they where the lion house and the password was lion. Likw how the fuck did that happen. But they did at some point make it to the fat lady's portrait, and gave her the passwrd. when they made it up to there dorms, ( wich looked just like last years but with a 2 not a 1 on the door) all of them where so tried none of them wantedet to unpack, jus sleep. So none of them unpacked anyting other then they're pj's. Went into the bathroom one by one. After that they all just moved around getting ready for bed. Remus pulled out a book and began reading, peter began eating some candy he had frm trolly. Sirius began staring out of the window loking at the stars, like he had done evry night. James never really knew why he did it, but just one more thing he got used to about his friends. James just slide into bed a wished them all good night, and told remus to stop reading. This eard him a "yes mother", but he did put it away. So win win. James was already so happy to be back and just wantedet to start plaing pranks right now. But he was also so tried. So for tonight he would just sleep
