Chapter 31

Of all the lies I have ever lived,

my favourite is still you and me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~♡

"Fuck, I love kissing you like this." Scorpius said, out of breath, his lips pressed against Albus'.

"I've missed this last week." Albus whispered against Scorpius' lips, who nodded slightly.

It was early at the moment and the sun was already beginning to shine into the room.

Their lips were together again and moving. Scorpius' right hand wandered from Albus' shoulder down to his hip, he tightened his grip there for a moment before he slid his hand agonizingly slowly under Albus' shirt.

Albus took a sharp breath when Scorpius' cold hand touched his skin and he tightened his grip on Scorpius' hair. In response, Albus spread his legs, causing Scorpius to gently lay between his legs.

Albus pulled away and placed kisses on Scorpius' chin, cheek and finally his neck. There he kissed his sensitive spot, causing Scorpius to press even tighter against Albus.

Scorpius' hand moved from Albus' hip to his stomach and stroked it tenderly a few times.

Panting, Albus wrapped his left arm around Scorpius' neck and his right hand wandered over Scorpius' back.

"Can I?" whispered Scorpius and his eyes found Albus' eyes. Albus nodded without saying anything.

And how he wanted that.

"Okay." Scorpius' hands found the end of Albus' shirt before he took another deep breath before gently pulling it off Albus.

He carelessly threw the shirt on the floor. His eyes darted over Albus's upper body, as if he wanted to save all the details in his brain.

Albus swallowed nervously. He knew that he didn't have to worry about Scorpius and he felt 100 percent comfortable with him - but the nervousness still overcame him like a wave during a storm.

Hesitantly, Albus reached for Scorpius' shirt, to which Scorpius reacted immediately and made it easier for Albus to take the shirt off.

After Scorpius' shirt had also fallen to the floor, Albus immediately took the opportunity and admired Scorpius' body.

"You are so beautiful," Scorpius whispered softly and his hand slowly ran over Albus' upper body, causing butterflies to break out in Albus' stomach.

The feeling of Scorpius' hands on his body was breathtaking. And he definitely wanted more. Much more.

Immediately afterwards, the two turned around. Now Albus was on top and he kissed Scorpius longingly on the lips.

"Good morning, everyone get up! Classes start soon!" Ginny's loud voice broke through Albus and Scorpius' heated moment.

Scorpius threw his head back and groaned in annoyance. Albus let his forehead fall on Scorpius' chest.

That was the end of their time together.

There was a knock on the door. That was really their signal that they should get up and get ready before they were caught without their shirts on.

It was really getting on Albus' nerves that he and Scorpius were always being interrupted. It was getting frustrating. But it would also be their first time, so Albus wanted them to be able to enjoy it in peace.

But first he would talk to Scorpius. He had planned to do that this week. Or for the next few weeks - it depends on how much time there was.

Now the first class was about to begin. Most of them were excited to see how well Harry would do.

Ginny had arranged to be there herself because she wanted to get her own impression of everything.

And she wanted to observe Albus and Scorpius a bit.

She didn't know how far Albus and Scorpius were in their relationship.

And that annoyed her. On the other hand, she was glad that she didn't know anything, but on the other hand, it made her extremely nervous.

Did the two of them even know anything? Did they even have sex education? Did they know anything about the risks?

She would really like to enlighten them. Or at least give Albus the talk. That would calm her down a bit.

After all, the two of them were teenagers. If they wanted to do something, they would do it.

Nobody could change that.

Harry cleared his throat and looked at Ginny for support. She shrugged her shoulders and then gave him a thumbs up. Harry shook his head and turned to the teenagers, who were all staring at him.

"You do know that we are four different school years, right? Third, fourth, sixth and seventh, Dad. We have different classes," explained James, tilting his head slightly. There was a hint of amusement in his voice.

Harry frowned. "Yes, I know. Somehow. But we'll manage. The professors haven't put all the classes into the lesson plans. Only the ones they think are most important. So in the end you'll have far too few lessons anyway, which is why I'll put them all together."

Draco stood a long way away from Ginny and leaned against the wall. Narcissa sat next to Ginny on a chair with her legs crossed.

Then Harry clapped his hands once and adjusted his glasses. "Okay, um..." He looked around before picking up a piece of paper. His eyes flew briefly over the sentences.

"Charms."

Scorpius glanced secretly at Albus and had to smile when he noticed the annoyed expression on Albus' face as he looked at his father - just because Albus didn't like charms.

Then Scorpius' eyes wandered over Albus' body and he swallowed quietly.

He bit his lip and how much he wished he and Albus were alone.

As stupid as this may sound, the only thing he could concentrate on right now was pulling Albus as close to him as possible and pulling him onto his lap.

"Um, darling, it says Potions. Not Charms," Ginny's voice rang out and Harry flinched before narrowing his eyes and looking at the piece of paper more closely. "Oh, really. Okay, Potions then!"

"What does the Replenishing Potion do?"

There was a long silence after that before Lily frowned briefly and then opened her mouth. "This potion is used to replenish something, but it is not clear what it does replenish."

A proud smile spread across Ginny's face and Harry nodded at Lily with a smile.

After that, the time passed really quickly. Harry took a few more lessons - such as Herbology, Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts - the last one brought a somewhat more unpleasant atmosphere into the room.

After that, the adults took a deep breath.

"How long are we supposed to put up with this?" James complained and laid his head on the table. Lily leaned against Faye, causing Faye to put her arm around Lily. Albus and Scorpius exchanged a quick glance.

"Not at all," replied Jareth and sighed in annoyance. "They could have just given us a holiday. We'll have to make up the months we're missing at Hogwarts anyway. So it's no use for us to study now if this time doesn't count towards school anyway."

"You're absolutely right. But explaining that to adults," Alaric interjected and James nodded.

James seemed to be thriving in this group. Albus was reluctant to admit it, but it calmed him down a little. Seeing James slowly but surely changing his mind made Albus happy.

He really hoped that it would stay that way and that it would only get better if it changed.

The others got involved in a conversation, but James was the only one who stayed out of it and remained completely quiet.

He concentrated on Albus and Scorpius, letting his eyes wander back and forth between them. Lately, James had noticed how close Albus and Scorpius really were.

He didn't know what to think of it. At the moment he was pretending that he trusted the Slytherins in this group, but in reality he didn't.

-

Albus and Scorpius were lying together on Albus' bed. The two were cuddling.

Albus lay halfway on top of Scorpius and Scorpius hugged him a little tighter every now and then.

"I know we said we wanted to keep our relationship a secret at first and I really do, but I feel like it's getting harder and harder for us to pretend lately." Scorpius kept his voice low and you could also hear some nervousness.

Albus sighed and hid his face in the crook of Scorpius' neck. "I see what you mean. I notice that too," Albus whispered and kissed Scorpius' neck before sighing loudly and closing his eyes.

He was tired.

Scorpius hummed in response, rubbing Albus' back up and down before closing his eyes and wrapping his arms completely around Albus' body.

Then there was a knock on the door. Ginny's voice rang out.

"Albus, can you come out for a word?"

Sighing, Albus pulled away from Scorpius, who looked at him gently, and slowly moved away from the bed. He strolled to the door and opened it. Ginny appeared and gave Scorpius a smile before motioning for Albus to come out.

Ginny closed the door to Albus' room, put her hands on Albus' shoulders and pushed him slightly away from his room.

"What's wrong?" asked Albus, frowning when he noticed how nervous Ginny looked. Ginny, on the other hand, was looking everywhere but at Albus.

"We need to talk about something. It's... uhm... important."

Albus now began to play with his fingers as he slowly got a suspicion and hoped it wasn't true.

"Um... Mum. We don't need to talk about it, really," whispered Albus, trying to get away, but Ginny wouldn't let him.

"Normally, your father would have to do that, but telling him the truth would be more than just wrong right now. So, yes, we need to talk about it," Ginny explained and Albus sighed, turned his face away and wanted to sink into the ground.

Ginny cleared her throat and swallowed once. Then she put her hands on her hips.

"So, you and Scorpius are a couple... And you're teenagers. Your hormones are at their most crazy at this time and you might want to do things that you should definitely know about." Ginny breathed in and out deeply. This was more than just uncomfortable for her, but she was the only one who could have this conversation.

If she told Harry to have this conversation, he wouldn't let up until he found out who Albus was with.

That was the problem.

Albus' face heated up completely and his gaze wandered to the wall, which suddenly looked very interesting.

"So, I thought - because it would be very uncomfortable for both of us if we talked about it - I'll just give you a little book that helped me a lot when I was too embarrassed to talk to my mother about it." She pulled out a book and motioned for Albus to take it.

He took it when he had recovered from his shock and sighed. "Thanks, Mum..."

Ginny nodded. "One more question: you know how to protect yourself, don't you?" Ginny studied Albus' face.

"I'm leaving," Albus said quickly, getting away from Ginny as quickly as possible and almost running into his room.

"Is everything okay?" Scorpius asked, tilting his head slightly. His thoughts wandered wildly before Albus decided not to reveal anything about the conversation with Ginny.

~♡~

"I have the chance to become captain of the Quidditch team," James said out of nowhere and Harry almost dropped his fork. "Use it! That's great!" Harry replied, a grin forming on his face.

Ginny put her hand on James' shoulder. "If that's what you want, then do it."

"Yes, and Alice will definitely like it too!" Lily added before innocently taking a sip of her pumpkin juice. Ginny turned to her and gave her a stern look.

A very unpleasant wave of heat ran through Albus' body out of nowhere and he had to use all his strength not to flinch.

Scorpius immediately noticed that something was wrong and his worried gaze was directed at Albus.

Albus tried to get up as quietly as possible and then moved as quickly as possible upstairs. There he made his way to the bathroom, locked the door and exhaled.

The heat didn't let up.

"Shit..." Albus leaned on the sink, turned on the tap and after a short while turned the water to ice cold. Then he let his hands and later his arms wander under the water and the ice cold water bounced off his skin.

For a brief moment he felt the cold too, but then even the ice cold water was no use.

"Al, can I come in?" Scorpius' voice rang out and Albus immediately felt a little calmer.

He waved his wand and the door opened. Concerned, Scorpius entered the bathroom, locked the door behind him and caught Albus's eye.

"What's wrong? You look like you're about to hyperventilate."

"I'm just really hot right now and I think I'm going to burn. That sounds ridiculous," Albus explained quickly and Scorpius shook his head. "No, if it's the truth, then it's not ridiculous."

"It's probably your magic. The water isn't helping?" Scorpius looked at the sink and then back at Albus, who shook his head this time. "No."

"Okay..." Scorpius began, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Take off your shirt."

Albus needed a few seconds to realize what he had just said before tilting his head.

"What?"

"Just do it. I'm sorry for what I'm doing now, but it might help you," Scorpius explained, reaching for his wand.

Albus nodded hesitantly. Then he reached for the end of his shirt and took it off. The cool air on his upper body was really pleasant for a moment.

Scorpius was distracted by the sight for a minute before he closed his eyes briefly, took a deep breath and shook his head.

Wrong time.

Then he opened his eyes again.

Scorpius raised his wand.

"Aquamenti."

In one second, Albus was completely wet.

But surprisingly, it helped.

Albus exhaled shakily. "A warning would have been nice, and why didn't I think about the shower?"

"You were in pain. You don't think properly," Scorpius explained gently before picking up Albus' shirt and catching a quick glimpse of Albus' upper body before holding the shirt out to Albus.

Albus had raised his eyebrows. He had more than just seen Scorpius' look.

"Do you like the view, love?"

After Albus said that, Scorpius turned his face away and blushed heavily. Albus grinned slightly, then took his shirt and put it on.

It was the first time Albus had used a nickname for Scorpius.

And it drove them both crazy.

Positively crazy.

Loud voices came from downstairs and you could recognize Molly and Arthur's voices. At that, Albus sighed.

He wished he could get some distance from his family right now. Normally he would be at Hogwarts now - he wasn't used to having to spend so much time with his family. It was getting hard for him.

Especially with this feeling like he was an outsider and nobody trusted his friends just because they were all in Slytherin.

Scorpius was about to open the door when Albus grabbed Scorpius by his arm. Scorpius looked at Albus with a questioning look in his eyes.

"Um, I wanted to ask you something..." Albus took a deep breath. Scorpius tilted his head.

"Are you ready...to go further?" Albus held his breath and he felt like his heart was going to jump out. But he had to ask. It was absolutely important to him.

Albus could see in Scorpius' eyes that he had to process what Albus had asked.

Then Scorpius's look became a little more confident.

"Fuck, yeah."

Butterflies erupted in Albus' stomach.

Scorpius' tone was already completely making him crazy. Albus and Scorpius looked deep into each other's eyes.

There was a knock on the bathroom door.

"Hey, Albus, Scorpius, are you two in there?"
