Older Brother's Best Friend? Nah, Best Friend's Older Brother
Harry was supposed to be with the Dursley’s this summer, but after taking the beating of a lifetime, he sent a letter to Ron, telling him everything that happened, he found himself being saved, not by his best friend, but his older brother Fred. Apparently Hedwig understood the importance of getting the letter delivered, and when she couldn’t find Ron, she gave the letter to the next person she could find, which just so happened to also be Harry's crush. So Harry found himself being nursed back to health by the one person he wished to avoid in that house.
“So, how are you feeling Harry?” Fred asked as he got closer to Harry, cleaning the wounds on his face.
“I’m okay. You really don’t need to do that, I can do it myself,” Harry responded as he attempted to grab the rag from Fred, but accidentally grabbing Fred's hand instead.They looked into eachothers eyes in a moment of shock, not knowing what to do, neither wanting to let go.
Just then Ron walked in and they both looked at him both cursing and thanking him for breaking the moment's awkwardness.
