“Another awful potion from Ron Weasly, 20 points from Gryffindor” Snape said as he toured his classroom, “is this really the best you can come up with Weasley, you're in your sixth year and you still can't grind your spider legs right?”
“I’m sorry Professor Snape, but they are just so gross, I don't want to touch them anymore,” replied Ron as he turned slightly green.
“Go to Madame Pomfrey before you vomit on anything in my classroom, ill deduct a point for every minute it takes you to get there so you'd better run”
When Snape finished his sentence Ron had already packed his things and bolted out of the class, Harry and Hermione following close behind, though they weren’t given permission.
“You'll lose 50 points each for that mr. potter and miss granger,” Snape said though he knew they wouldn’t care.
As Snape's classes finished he decided to go visit his student in the med wing. Though he put on a very strong front, Snape truly cared about all of his students, especially Ron, there was just something so special about the talentless Weasley that drew him in, though he isn't sure what it is.
When he entered the med wing he realized that it was empty, there was no one but him and the weasley boy, madame Pomfrey must be out getting Ron some potion or another, but Snape rejoiced in their time alone.
“How are you feeling Mr. Weasley?” he asked, trying to hide the real feelings behind his question.
“I’m alright, i guess, why are you here?”
“I just wanted to ask Madame Pomfrey how long it took for you to get here so I could deduct your points” Snape said, knowing Ron wouldn't believe the truth.
“Well, she's not here yet, so why don't you have a cup of water while you wait?” Ron asked, pouring the professor a cup.
“Thank you, that's very kind,” he said as he downed the water in one gulp, “though did you notice that it tastes strange?” he asked, feeling something familiar on his tongue, though he couldn't quite recall what it was.
“Oh, its because its not just water, it has veritaserum in it,” said Ron as he cracked a devilish smile, “so why are you actually here professor?”
“Because I wanted to make sure you were okay, you hold a very dear place in my heart,” Snape said, not wanting Ron to know the truth but not being able to stop himself.
“What do you mean ‘a dear place’” Ron asked.
“You hold my every waking thought, I want to be around you every minute of every day. You mean everything to me, and i never want to see you hurt,”
“Oh, ew.” was Ron's only reply as Harry and Hermione walked out from under the invisibility cloak, with disgusted looks on their faces.
